People join together to prepare meals for people that are struggling. Many people put the focus on others when contemplating what gifts to buy for Christmas. Families unite together and share traditions. The world would be a beautiful place if people lived the holidays in their hearts every day. Every year, on the fourth Thursday of November since 1863, annual tradition brings families and friends together for a feast of thanks. Originally a thanks to God by the Pilgrims of the Plymouth Colony who survived a brutal winter safely. The first Thanksgiving Feast lasted three days and provided food for 53 pilgrims and 90 Native Americans. I love thanksgiving because I get to spend the entire day celebrating with my 4 sons.
