Once Upon a Time...
there was a young girl who loved the wonder of fairy tales, writing in her
diary and playing with clay. That young girl grew into artist, Jill Marie
Crvich of Figments Studio.

Jill started Figments Studio in 1995 selling her journals and
accessories at local craft shows in North Carolina and the Pacific
Northwest. She later expanded her collection and added an online store. Figments Studio combines Jill’s long standing interest
in antiques, fairy tales, journal writing (she began at age 10), historical imagery and
architecture, as well as work by artists such as Rackham, Waterhouse and Hughes. In
Figments Studio, all these interests merge with Jill’s talent for design. She hopes her
unique collection inspires you and kindles your figments of imagination.
A Note from Jill
I’m so excited to introduce our new Flora and Fauna
Collection! We’ve added new journals and stationery
products with a lighter palette, which broadens our offering
yet maintains our vintage appeal.
My husband and I recently took our first trip to Paris to
celebrate our 20th anniversary and I was dazzled by the
history and elegance of that beautiful city. We strolled
down winding streets, taking in the architecture, gardens,
museums, shops and cafes. The light, natural palette of the
urban landscape and the old limestone buildings inspired
me. In addition to the incredible museums we toured,
a particular highlight was Deyrolle, a quirky shop reminiscent of a natural history
museum, chock full of creatures and collections from around the world.
These fond memories of great works of art, lush gardens and nature within the city and
the subtle, muted tones of the grand architecture of the City of Light are the inspiration
for our new Figments Studio collection. I hope you like it!
