INTRODUCTION
What is Bacteriotherapy or Faecal Microbiota
Transplant (FMT)?
This procedure is also referred to as Human Probiotic Infusion (HPI) ,
Faecal Microbiome Infusion (FMI).
The human bowel contains an extremely complex population of intercommunicating bacteria and micro-organisms containing several
hundred different species. Because bacteria have a complex
communication “language” between single species, the whole community
and between the community and the host, the Microbiome has been
described as a virtual organ. The colon itself is densely populated with
around 40,000 species and subspecies of bacteria and 40 species make
up 99% of the Gut Flora.
These organisms and the chemicals they produce affect the body and
these effects can have both positive and negative impacts on health.
Some groups (Bacteroides) possess anti-microbial properties
antagonistic to pathogenic or ‘bad’ bacteria; however, if a bad bacterium
manages to implant itself into the population of normal, healthy ‘good’
bacteria it can gain a good foothold and can have a debilitating and
sometimes toxic effect . Due to the evolutionary success of the bacteria
which are very durable, it is difficult to remove the infection, which can
remain for many years, even a lifetime.
The human bacterial
flora protects us from
both pathogenic or
‘bad’ bacteria; however,
if a bad bacterium does
implant itself into the
population of normal,
healthy ‘good’ bacteria,
it can have a
debilitating and
sometimes toxic effect
on our health
The use of healthy human flora appears to be the most complete
probiotic treatment available today. It acts as a broad-spectrum
antibiotic capable of eradicating ‘bad’ bacteria and spores, and supplies
the ‘good’ bacteria for re-colonisation.
This therapy involves the infusion of the bacteria from healthy human
faeces via enema into the bowel. This infusion process is repeated for
10 days. This is defined by Prof. T J Borody of the Centre of Digestive
Diseases, as being the most effective for long-term uptake and recolonisation.
The treatment is for types of Irritable Bowel Syndrome and
Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. The treatment cannot be guaranteed;
however, it has demonstrated success in treating some of the most
difficult cases of IBS and IBDs [please see the research papers included
at the end of this pack for more information].

As the pioneer of this treatment, Professor TJ Borody has said,
this is not a ‘Golden Bullet’ magic treatment, and this is not an
answer to every illness. Firstly, Borody found that by doubling
the treatments from 5 days to 10 days, the implant success rate
rose dramatically. In some persistant cases, secondary treatments
were necessary at a later stage. In the case of secondary
treatments the success rate in this group rose to 90%. So we
need to bring to the patient’s attention that this treatment cannot
give a guaranteed successful outcome in every case, and
secondary treatments may be necessary.
Donor Material – The best results are obtained when using optimum
quality fecal implants. Professor Borody’s earlier suggested use of family
members and co-habitees could result in transplanting the same
dysbiotic imbalance, especially where the same dietary habits are shared.
Analytical evidence has
shown that relatives
and partners can share
the same microflora,
which often includes
the same pathogens,
which may not be ideal
Here at the Taymount Clinic, we have carefully selected and coached
professional healthy donors who eat a very high organic diet, rich in
vegetables and fruits and organic produce and who are on a specialied
probiotic regimen. They are also screened regularly by blood and stool
tests for serious and contagious diseases:

PROGRAM
The Procedure:
The patient will undergo a 28-day preparation period with
dietary adjustments and recommendations in order to
prepare the bowel and gut for optimum receptivity (see
Patient Preparation Information Section 2 following).
Then:
Pre-Treatment: Before the treatment starts the patient will start a stool
softening program utilising a non-laxative bowel hydrator called
OxyKlenz (Magnesium Peroxide) which will prompt a regular bowel
movement that will be gentle and easy to expel.
The Treatment:
Day 1: The patient will receive colon cleansing treatments prior to the
program to cleanse the bowel of fecal impaction and to ensure that all
of the loose bacterial and fungal flora and the materia that they occupy
are removed.
Tests include blood and
stool samples and will
check for conditions
such as Hepatitis,
Epstein-Barr virus, HIV,
Herpes, Cytomegalovirus,
Toxoplasmosis, Liver
function test, STDs; also
Full Blood Count,
Thyroid Hormones, etc.
After the colon cleansing, the first of the prepared donor samples will
be implanted via enema. The patient will stay relaxed and prone for at
least ½ hour following implant to allow the sample to populate the
bowel.
If using a patient-supplied donor, (Option A), the sample must be
provided each day at least an hour and a half before the treatment to
allow for preparation time of the sample.
Days 2-10: The patient will receive an implant of prepared donor
material and will stay prone for ½ hour following implant.
Total treatment times:
Day 1: Allow 4 hours in the clinic which will include consultations and
colon preparation.
Days 2-10: 2-3 hours needed; in the clinic.
Note: we close the clinic to all other patients whilst the program is in
process so there is complete privacy and an unhurried clinical
environment.

The Clinic Donors are screened by the full panel of required
laboratory tests every one to three months. Donors will
remain anonymous to the patient, although evidence of
successful test results are available upon request.
The Clinic Donors are obliged to observe a high-nutrient, high-raw,
probiotic and prebiotic-rich diet for at least 28 days prior to donating
the samples and through the whole period of donation.
Donor Bank samples are always ready at the right time, each day.

This is a pioneering procedure that is under constant development. The
whole aim of which is to improve the outcome for patients. The few
practitioners around the world that are engaged in this therapy are
continually making small changes, refinements and amendments to the
treatment protocols to try to effect improvements. The community of
practitioners naturally communicate amongst themselves, sharing best
practice, ideas and developments.
Therefore, what is written today changes tomorrow – this is the very
essence of pioneering technology. So do not be surprised if
supplementary notes appear at a later date. If protocols change halfway
through a procedure, if ‘up’ becomes ‘down’ and ‘left’ becomes ‘right’, it
is probably that someone, somewhere, has found something that
improves outcomes, and we are now sharing it and using it to the ongoing benefit of our patients.
Remember that all
these tests have

Take Oxyklenz# every evening from start
of Prep period.
Start with 2 capsules at night, increase by one more each evening until a
softly formed and bulky stool is easily eliminated the following morning.
This might mean going up to as many as 8-10 capsules initially. If
diarrhoea is experienced drop back to the previous “comfortably
formed” dose (the last dose before diarrhoea occurred). This way, you
find your individual ideal dose and stick with that for the rest of the 28
days.
If you are a diarrhoea-sufferer already, please take 1-2 each night in the
preparation period. There is often a back-up of solidified matter residing
in the folds and creases of the bowel, even when frequent diarrhoea is
experienced even on a daily basis.
Oxyklenz (Magnesium
Peroxide), is safe, nonhabit-forming,
non-irritating and
gently brings water
back into the bowel to
soften and move waste
matter
DAY 26: increase your dose by 1 more this evening
DAY 27: increase your dose by another 1 more again this evening
DAY 28: increase your dose by another 1 this evening.
This will make your stool very loose and will clear your bowel prior to
commencement of the treatment. Don’t panic, you won’t get gripes and
urgency as in laxative use, this should be gentle but fluid releases.

Oxyklenz is Magnesium Peroxide (MgO2) and is available throught the

Low Protein Diet
Proteins and residues from animal products will feed pathogenic bacterial
flora, so we need to starve them out and make the stool loose and easy
to wash out when you come for your initial colonic at the start of the
implant procedures.
Try to get the “Eat less of:” list completely eliminated by the last week, or
sooner if possible.
Eat lots of:
Wholegrain (wheat-free) cereals
Wholegrain rye bread
Wheat-free breads and cereals
Gluten-free products in moderation
Raw vegetables, salads: (marrow, courgettes, carrots, potatoes, green
leaves, lettuce, cucumber, spinach, kale, cabbage, tomatoes, peppers,
broccoli, cauliflower, etc)

Fruits: (peaches, apples, berries, cherries, plums, pears, melon, oranges,
lemons, lime, ginger)
Nuts (and nut milks especially)
Oils, butter
Try soy milk, almond milk or oat milk instead of cows milk
Brown rice
Vegetable pasta (corn, millet, rice pasta)
Buckwheat noodles (wholegrain)
Eggs in moderation (served with vegetables or wholegrain cereal
breads)
Try to incorporate coconut oil into all your foods where practical. Melt
the oil and use it in salad dressings, smoothies, stir into porridge, etc. Try
to use at least 2-4 tablespoons per day. This is extremely good for the
gut motility and for metabolic health also, so it is not fattening.

RECIPES:
All fruits, vegetables and salads should be ORGANIC where possible
and only wiped clean – do not wash or scrub your organic produce and
leave peels and skins in place where possible. The organic soil contains
vital soil-based probiotic organisms which we are all lacking in today.
Green Smoothie (or Smooth Greenie?):
Ingredients:
a large bunch of spinach
whole peeled mango
ice cubes
1 large heaped tablespoonful of FOS – PRE-BIOTIC powder
about 100 mls filtered or mineral water
All veggies and fruits
should be ORGANIC
and only wiped clean,
not scrubbed (this is
very important)
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth, dilute as
necessary with more water.
This works best with a high-speed blender like Vitamix, Blendtec or
Thermomix; if using a slower domestic blender, you will need to blend
for as long as it takes to make a nice smooth, drinkable liquid and add as
much water as you need to make it drinkable.
Shrek Juice
We have found that children love the colour and taste of this juice and
imagine themselves turning into Shrek by drinking it! We playfully call
this one Shrek Juice to go along with it – we have known it also referred
to as Swamp Juice – but it is still lovely to drink!
Makes 1 litre: All veggies and fruits should be ORGANIC and only wiped
clean, not scrubbed (this is very important).
Ingredients:
½ cucumber
1 stick celery
2 apples
Large slice of pineapple
Huge handful of spinach, greens, kale or other green leaf or a mixture
½ lime or lemon
1 x sachet of VSL#3
Optional: sprig of parsley
ice cubes
Open the sachet of VSL#3 and pour into the juicer jug. Add a small
amount of water to make a thin paste and then return the jug to the
juicer and let the juice fall into the mixture.
Don’t peel anything, just chop into pieces small enough to pop through
your juicer chute and juice over ice cubes. Stir and serve immediately;
unused juice will store in the fridge in a closed container for up to 24
hours.

‘going home’ protocols for patients
The reason why you needed Bacteriotherapy was because your
microbiome was compromised, which is called dysbiosis. Your previous
lifestyle had not improved this condition and could quite possibly have
caused it or made it worse.
if you continue to lead the lifestyle and diet that you did before, there is
a strong chance that dysbiosis may recur.
To avoid this happening, we need to change your lifestyle with regard to
your food intake on a daily and repeated basis.
if you continue to do
what you’ve always
done, then you’ll
continue to get what
you’ve always got
it’s the old adage that “…if you continue to do what you’ve always done,
then you’ll continue to get what you’ve always got.” Now is the time to
change your habits to make long-lasting and permanent changes for the
better to your health.
You have now received 10 implants of donor microbiome.
if you used the Clinic Donor Bank, you can be assured that the stool
was prepared from a donor using a specialised diet to promote a high
quality biome. in preparation for donation, the donor ate close on 100%
or very-high-raw foods, fresh organic produce and observed all the
protocols listed in the donor preparation instructions. in fact, our
donors live this way as a lifestyle and enjoy great health not just
restricted to their digestive systems.
if you used your own donor, then the 28 days own-donor preparation
was a snapshot view of how you should be eating and feeding yourself
every day.
it makes sense then, to keep up this good work and enjoy continuing
good health, not just resolving your present symptoms or chronic
problems.
The suggestions on the following pages will keep your gut in top
condition and help you to enjoy greater health and wellbeing throughout
your whole body.
having undergone this remarkable cutting-edge treatment, it makes

The choice is of course, yours to make. here is the outline
for continuing to live in harmony with your ‘good guys’ and
optimise your new bacterial flora community. This is how to
feed and look after your new pets (poo is a Zoo!)!
Daily: Choose from the following for your breakfast:
1. make a green juice (we call it Shrek Juice!) or green Smoothie and
drink at least 1⁄2 litre daily (more if possible).
2. make a YoCo Thickie (recipe following)
3. make a Super-Yogurt (recipe following)

proBioTiCS: instead of taking supplements, we now recommend that
you make yogurts at home using VSL#3® and mutaflor® and make these
a part of your daily diet, as in the smoothies mentioned above. The
details of how to make these yogurts follows in the recipe section. This
is the basis of the Super Yogurt you would have received during your
treatment program and it is what we recommend going forwards to
maintain bowel health.
We also give the recipe for an excellent all-round health boosting
breakfast smoothie which we have called the YoCo Thickie as this is even
one more step beyond the Super Yogurt!

Kefir – Nature’s Little miracle
There is a much more detailed eBook available called: Kefir – Nature’s
Little miracle by Dr. enid Taylor available for £4.95 – see Taymount
website –
ok, let’s start with the obvious question, what is Kefir? Kefir is put into
milk (usually, although there are options, see Kefir eBook for more
details), and it cultures and ferments the milk into a sort of sparkling or
lightly fizzy drinking yogurt, or a thick, creamy and mild drinking yogurt,
depending on the method and length of culturing/fermentation used.
Kefir resembles lumps of cauliflower or cottage cheese, to look at. it
can be crumbs, tiny crumbs or it can grow in strings and lumps which
can stretch up to 6 inches across. once there are enough little
microscopic creatures clumped together they become visible to the
naked eye as tiny white crumbs.

Super Yogurt - recipe
instead of buying little yogurty-pot things from the supermarkets, this
‘Super-Yogurt’ is Billions of times more effective than anything you can
buy:
Stage 1: each day, we strain off our lovely creamy and mild Kefir (my
particular favourite method is to not culture it for too long or too warm
and it stays lovely and thick and mild; we use organic whole milk, and
we add it to the most incredible home-brewed yogurts (more below).
if you want to buy some Kefir grains, just pop into the Taymount online
shop: www.taymount.com/shop and place your order there.
Stage 2: We make a yogurt using mutaflor® probiotic as a yogurt starter
- which is the brand name of a strain of escherichia Coli (e.Coli) subtype Nissle 1917 (ecN). We have found that in tests for gut profile
analysis for many people suffering from iBD, iBS and other gut
disturbances, there is alarming co-variance with low or undetectable
levels of the beneficial members of the e.Coli family. So we add that into
the mix as a great preventative.
instead of buying little
yogurty-pot things
from the
supermarkets, this
‘Super-Yogurt’ is
Billions of times more
effective than anything
you can buy:.
We buy our mutaflor® from Berlinde apoteke in germany
(mail order: www.BerlindaVersandapoteke.de) and we brew up our own
yogurts using UhT organic whole milk, fruit sugar and FoS and pop it
in the dehydrator at 38ºC in 100 ml pots that we buy from a seller on
eBay. Works quite well after about 20 hours incubating.
Stage 3: We make another type of yogurt from the clinical-grade superprobiotic called VSL3®. one single-dose sachet contains 450 BiLLioN
live organisms so we take one sachet and cultivate it with a whole litre
of milk so it makes one packet go a very long way (good economy here)
and this activates the freeze-dried microbes right up front, so they get
to work as soon as you swallow them, helping the mouth and
oesophageal membranes (yes, we need helpful bacteria on all our mucus
membranes) and hopefully enough survive the stomach conditions to
spread their goodness into the lower regions of the digestive tract
where they are so very needed. This yogurt seems to set up quite
quickly but we try and culture for at least 8 hours or until we sense that
it may be trying to curdle. it is an imprecise science but even curdled it
is still just as good for you so don’t worry.
Stage 4: The miX: So our daily yogurt super-blend is one or two 100 ml
pots of home-brewed mutaflor® yogurt, 1 or 2 x 100 ml pot of homebrewed VSL3® yogurt, mixed into about 600 mls of freshly-strained,
creamy Kefir. Then the combination is enhanced (fed) with an extra
spoonful or two of FoS - Fructo-oligo-saccharides, which feed the
probiotic yeasts and bacteria further; i like my yogurts nice and mild
and sweet - and so we also add a little commercial drinking yogurt like
activia or Supermarkets' own drinking yogurt JUST To maKe iT TaSTe
eVeN NiCer! Being healthy doesn't have to mean being miserable and
so we add a little bit of what we fancy just to make sure that we want to

come back tomorrow and have some more. You could also use a fruit
smoothie to add a little flavour and sweetness if you didn't want to use
commercial drinking yogurts. But, it is really oK without this extra
commercial element, this is the part where you can individualise your
particular blend.
This is what i call SUper-YogUrT. it tastes superb, nice and cool and
mild and creamy and i know it is so chock full of the biggest range of
probiotics i can get into a single glassful.
Be warned: as soon as you mix this formula, you may get secondary
fermentation from the fruit sugars in the commercial yogurt or the
smoothie and the FoS, so mix and drink fairly promptly, or make sure
the cap is strong, you will get a little exhalation of Co2 if you leave it for
any length of time after mixing. They do sit for the best part of the day
in the fridge without incident, but you might get that little sparkle on the
tongue if it does a secondary fermentation (and personally, i don't like
that sparkle in yogurts, but i love it in Kefir D'Uva which is Kefir made
in red grape juice, and it is like red champagne!).

if you would like more information about Kefir or anything mentioned
on this page, you could buy the Kefir Book downloadable from the new
Taymount website.
NOTE: Always sterilise any and all objects that come into contact with any
culturing for yogurts - the exception to this is the wonderful Kefir, which is selfregulating and annihilates any foreign microbes that stray into the Kefir colony,
but the others are incubated in warm (38-40ºC) conditions so if you are not
sterlising everything, you could be culturing some harmful microbes. I use
Milton steriliser tablets for baby feeding bottles and do EVERYTHING that
might come into contact with the milk and yogurt starter solution. Just to be
sure.

green Smoothie (or Smooth greenie?)
ingredients:
a large bunch of spinach, whole peeled mango, ice cubes
1 large heaped tablespoonful of FoS – pre-BioTiC powder
1 x VSL#3® if needed
place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth, dilute as
necessary with cold water.
We playfully call
this one Shrek Juice to go along with it – we have known it also referred
to as Swamp Juice as a bit of fun – but it is still lovely to drink!
makes approx. 1 litre: all veggies and fruits should be orgaNiC and
only wiped clean, not scrubbed (this is very important).
ingredients:
½ cucumber
1 stick celery
2 apples
Large slice of pineapple (optional)
huge handful of spinach, greens, kale or other green leaf or a mixture
½ lime or lemon
Sprig of parsley (optional)
1 x sachet of VSL#3®
1 heaped tablespoon of prebiotic powder (eliminex or Bimuno –
FoS*)
add the prebiotic and VSL#3 (if used) into the juicer jug and pour in a
small amount of water to make a thin paste; return the jug to the juicer
and then let the juice fall into this mixture as you make it. When your 3
months of probiotic supplementation are over, you can then add VSL#3
just once a week, every week. This tops up your ‘good guys’ regularly.
Don’t peel anything, just chop into pieces small enough to pop through
your juicer chute. Stir and serve immediately; unused juice will store in
the fridge in a closed container for up to 24 hours (48 hours for
matstone and 72 hours for angel).

*NB: FoS stands for Fructo-oligoSaccharides – which are vegetable,
fruit and plant sources of complex
sugars that our bodies cannot break
down and digest - but which our

so this type of complex sugar feeds
our ‘good guys’. it imparts a pleasant

YoCo Thickie
ingredients:
100 mls mutaflor® Yogurt
100 mls VSL#3® Yogurt
150 mls Freshly strained Kefir
1 cup fresh berries or soft fruit
2 egg yolks (free range, organic)
2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup, Sweet Freedom, Coconut Nectar syrup or
Stevia (use your own choice of sweetening but don't use honey as it
kills your probiotic bacteria!)
optional but highly desirable ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon Dolomite powder (amazon.co.uk)
1 teaspoon eskimo 3 lime or lemon flavoured cod liver oil
1 teaspoon high Vitamin Butter oil (www.seventhwaveuk.com)
1/2 teaspoon bee pollen (freeze dried)
5 drops of BioSil liquid (amazon.co.uk)
Blend the egg yolks and fruit together - if using berries blend until the
pips are no longer apparent (or strain them out if your blender is not
quite fast enough to obliterate the pips). Then add the optional
ingredients, sweetening and the yogurts. Blend again. add the coconut
oil just before the end of the second blending, if possible through the
hole in the blender lid.

recommended juicers
These are just suggestions for a few of our favourite juicers from well
known suppliers; always ‘google’ or internet search the one you want,

cannot offer coupons or best price deals. prices quoted are correct at

Slow, as you have to chop up the fruits and
veggies to fit the small chute opening, but
good quality juice and great with greens, will
do wheatgrass juice excellently and has many
other functions as a food processor. This
machine is excellent value and as it will make
nut butters, ice cream and lots of other things,
as well as juicing the precious green leaf and wheatgrass really well, we
just feel it is the best little all-rounder at the price. it is neat and easy to
transport and has even been on trips to Centre parcs and in a tiny Ski
Chalet with our family.
FoS makes an ideal

we cannot digest the
complex sugars but
our friendly bacteria
can; they get the
calories and we don’t!

Fast, juice-on-the go for busy people. it takes
whole apples and cucumbers for really fast
juicing but it does throw green leaf around a
little less than efficiently; however, Jason Vale’s
technique is to scrunch up the leaves and jam
them in between the apples, it helps to reduce
wastage and hold the leaves firm for more
efficient juicing and less flying about in the juicing basket. great, fast, easy
to use but the juice does not keep very long as it has been oxidised a
fair bit during the making.

angel Juicer – 5500
around £760
http://www.energiseyourlife.com/products/angel-Juicer-5500.html
in our opinion this is the best juicer on the market. in our tests, this
juicer gives around 40% more juice from a carefully weighed quantity of
produce, a remarkable increase on all the others.* Dry pulp almost like
sawdust at times and stable, long lasting juice with amazing nutrient value
and enzyme capture. it is relatively slow as you need to cut up your
apples (it doesn’t like pineapple though, for that you need to buy the
larger-holed soft fruits screen). But green leaf is very successful and we
never knew you could get so much juice from a small bunch of parsley!
So we make our juice without the pineapple and really enjoy making our
expensive organic produce go so much further. it has greatly reduced
our organic Veggie Box bill! The other clever thing about this juicer is
that the completely stainless steel parts are so easy to clean, there are
just Three pieces to wash up and they don’t completely fill up the
draining board. it is a pleasure to use and a pleasure to drink the juice
from this lovely machine (yes, we are biased, does it show?!!).

Case study
you have taken part in a pioneering treatment. Medical training of
doctors and nurses relies upon the established educational reference
books that do not yet contain any details of the potential of
Bacteriotherapy. There is continual research into the roles and functions
that probiotic bacteria and yeasts bring to human health, and treatments
like Bacteriotherapy are the result of some of that research. in order
that mainstream journals and their readership can see the benefits, and
information transmits into textbooks, it is important to provide them
with Case studies in the form of submitted research papers.
We, like all other Bacteriotherapy clinicians want to see the benefits of
the treatment available throughout the world and for it to become a
first line of treatment and not the last. you can actually play a part in
this, by allowing us to collect all the details of the effects that the
treatments has on you and every patient. The more case studies
assembled, the more credible the treatment will be seen by the

permission of the patient. We would like to ask if you will allow us to
collect the data on your pre-treatment medical conditions, the exact
treatments protocols you went through and your post-treatment results
and experiences. This will include the prescription drugs that you have
been taking, your symptoms and your recovery.
Feedback
you, the patients, are the people who will feedback results and
experiences which will help the clinicians to learn more and more about
how effective the treatment is, and various refinements and changes to
technique will teach us all about what works best and what works with
which condition.

Bacteriotherapy
There is an increasing understanding among gut
specialists that DYSBIOSIS* in the digestive tract
is at the root of many gastrointestinal conditions
that mainstream medicine is currently calling
incurable.
Specialists are beginning to understand that
dysbiosis could be the trigger for: Ulcerative
Colitis, Crohn’s disease, IBS, C. diff infections and
other conditions.
The principle of Bacteriotherapy (aka Faecal
Microbiota Transplantation/Human Probiotic
Infusion) is similar in principle to organ
transplants or blood transfusions, where a
healthy organ or blood from a donor is
transplanted or transfused into the body of a
sick person. In bacteriotherapy, a healthy donor
who has been extensively screened for disease
and parasites, provides a sample of healthy faeces
with the full complement of some 40,000
different species** of probiotic bacteria and
yeasts.
The micro-organisms are separated out from
the undigested food and made up into a solution
using sterile saline solution. This is then
introduced into the recipient’s colon.
The new new colony of bacteria and yeasts then
very quickly settle down in their new home
proceeding to function in a healthy fashion.
* Dysbiosis is the term used to describe an imbalance in the
gut flora, with an unhealthy amount of unhelpful microbes,
yeasts or bacteria and/or parasites.
** As described by Professor Glenn Gibson, Head of
Bacteriology at Reading University.
