SnoreStopper™ Original
Why do you snore?
Snoring usually occurs because the lower jaw relaxes during sleep, allowing the lower jaw and your tongue to fall back and put pressure on the windpipe, which in turn causes vibration. These vibrations create the sound of snoring when breathing. It also cause that the brain does not get enough oxygen while sleeping, which means you will feel tired during the day. Remember that snoring can be a symptom of sleep apnea, a medical condition. You should contact your doctor, if you are worried about whether you have sleep apnea. SnoreStopper™ Original is not designed to cure sleep apnea.
Correct package appearance Use and Description
The anti-‐snoring mouthpiece, SnoreStopper™ Original, is used to prevent teeth grinding, jaw tension and snoring at night. The anti-‐snoring mouthpiece must be shaped according to your teeth to increase comfort and to ensure that the mouthpiece does not fall off while you sleep, while increasing the likelihood of positive impact. SnoreStopper™ Original keeps the lower jaw in place so that your airways remain just as open as during the daytime when you breathe normally. We recommend that you sleep with the mouthpiece every night and replace it with a new mouthpiece every month. Available as subscription. WITHOUT SnoreStopper™ WITH SnoreStopper™ What do you need to start
Please notice! Carefully read all instructions before starting • A pot of boiling water • A stopwatch (showing seconds) • A small bowl of cold water • A mirror that will help you customize your mouthpiece properly Procedure 1. Fill a pot with water (enough to cover the entire mouthpiece) 2. Boil the water. Do not put the mouthpiece in the water while the water is boiling 3. When the water has reached the boiling point, turn off the heat of the stove and let the water cool down for 20 seconds (so it is about 80 degrees) 4. Meanwhile, attach the blue stick to the mouthpiece, and use it as a "handle", so you do not burn yourself. There is a hole in the mouthpiece that fits perfectly for attaching the stick 5. Hold the mouthpiece in the approximately 80 degrees hot water till the mouthpiece becomes soft and formable. This takes about 20-‐25 seconds 6. Take the mouthpiece gently out of the water and shake it for excess water. Be careful, the mouthpiece is very soft at this stage (Important: Leave the blue plastic handle attached the mouthpiece during the entire forming process) Procedure (continued)
7. Put the soft, slightly warm, mouthpiece into the mouth. Keep your lower jaw slightly forward and make a small lower jaw (so it is in line or slightly above, the front teeth). Like eating corn on the cob 8. Use the mirror and your fingers to shape the mouthpiece inside the mouth, around the gums and teeth 9. Bite down on the mouthpiece. Suck the air out of it, and press the tongue and lips against the mouthpiece to achieve a tight and perfect fit. Press your fingers against your cheeks and lips to enhance the shape around your teeth and gums. Use your tongue to push the mouthpiece toward the back of the teeth. Do not bite through the mouthpiece 10. Hold this position for about 1 minute 11. Place the mouthpiece in the cold water for about 2 minutes so it will harden 12. Now you can remove the blue plastic handle and try your new customized SnoreStopper™ Original anti-‐snoring mouthpiece. The mouthpiece should grasp tightly around your teeth without discomfort. If this is not the case, you should repeat the adjustment process What is it made of?

Good maintenance will extend the life of SnoreStopper™. As you should sleep with it every night, it requires daily cleaning. For optimal hygiene you should replace the mouthpiece with a new one every month. Maximum life use is approximately 3 months. • Clean SnoreStopper™ Original in cold water or mouth rinse immediately after use • Keep the mouthpiece in the blue case, which is included in the package, when the mouthpiece is not in use • DO NOT store SnoreStopper™ Original in temperature above 37 degrees The mouthpiece life also depends on how hard you grind your teeth while sleeping. We recommend that you occasionally (or daily) clean SnoreStopper™ Original in lukewarm water. Caution
Do NOT use SnoreStopper™ Original: • If you are under 18 years of age, without recommendation from a doctor/dentist • If you use braces, dentures or other dental products • If you can shake some of your teeth • If your dentist has informed you that you have TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder) • As protection of teeth during sports activities (e.g. martial arts). SnoreStopper™ Original cannot absorb any impact • For more than three months without consulting your dentist • If you suffer from epilepsy or are at risk for epileptic seizures while using the product • If you suffer from obstructive sleep apnea Will it work for me?
Probably yes. SnoreStopper™ Original will not work for everyone, but most studies conclude that this type of anti-‐snoring device has a positive effect of approximately 80% of people who snore. If it does not work for you, an alternative may be surgery or a CPAP machine. SnoreStopper™ Original CAN NOT cure sleep apnea, which is a medical condition. If in doubt, we recommend that you consult your doctor or dentist. By using an anti-‐snoring mouthpiece you risk experiencing some minor side effects. The most common is to get a sore jaw, sore teeth and some may even drool a little (while the mouthpiece is in the mouth). These side effects usually stop after you have slept a few nights with the mouthpiece in your mouth, and become accustomed to the feeling. It may feel a little strange at first. SnoreStopper™ Original will often be the cheapest option to start with, since surgery, CPAP machines and dental customized anti-‐snoring mouthpieces are considerably more expensive (the latter around 6 -‐ 800 EUR per mouthpiece). We hope you will have success with the SnoreStopper™ Original. New SnoreStopper™
