Ma Foi and CNNES conducted the training programe from December 22 to 29, 2010. The training helped the students enhance their interpersonal skills. It gave them confidence to face the interview. The placement cell with the help of IIJT conducted a seminar on “India Today”. It conducted a aptitude test for B.Sc computer science students with the help of NIIT. PLACEMENT : We have started our placement cell activities by collecting the database of final year students. SEMINAR : We have conducted a seminar on the title “India today” by IIJt for final year students. NIIT conducted an Aptitude test for B.Sc (Computer Science) students for placement purposes. HCI conducted an orientation programme for all the final year students. We are planning to conduct several Company based seminars, career guidance programs, Field trip and visit to a few companies. There will be a Training and placement seminar for final year students to create an exposure about the corporate world. Pre – placement Training for final year students with Mafoi will be conducted in the month of November. It will help students to increase their confidence level to face the interview and to enhance their interpersonal skills. An impressive lineup of creative professionals and large number of students gathered to celebrate idea of creativity. Mr. S. Ve. ENVIRONMENTAL EXPO T COUNSELLING CENTRE DEPARTMENT OF JAINOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION LIBRARY FAIR Understanding a situation before it reaches the crisis stage can make a big difference. We encourage the students to come in, even if they are not sure that counseling is what they need. With a counselor's help, they can discuss alternatives and decide the best way to proceed. For many students, dealing effectively with emotional and social issues increases their success with academic work. The Counseling Center is a place for help with any psychological or emotional problem or need. he students of II year prepare models and charts on the topic “say no to plastic” and “Organic gardening” which was displayed on 28.9.11 to bring awareness about the impact of using plastic bags and inorganic gardening among the students and staff. Overnight transition is certainly not possible as we are obsessed with plastic usage over the years. But it is always possible to slowly swap plastic to more eco-friendly. “Go Green” is the say and lets work towards it. October 2011 MINVELI MEDIA WORKS DEPT. OF COMMERCE, MAGNUM OPUS-2011 M agnum Opus 2011, Interdepartmental Competitions of the Dept of Commerce was held on July 29, 2011. Mrs. P. Sindhuja, Customer Relation Manager, Lanson Toyota was the chief guest. Nearly 900 students participated in 11 competitions organized at Magnum Opus 2011. The winners were awarded gift vouchers worth Rs.300 and a certificate. The second prize was Rs. 150 and a certificate. The winners of the third prize were given certificate. DEPT.
