• Ripplefold hardware produces pristine draperies with
evenly-spaced folds.
• Snap carriers dictate the spacing between drapery folds.
Carriers are double-sided making them ideal for sheers and
room dividers.
• Ripplefold hardware greatly reduces drapery stack for
increased window exposure. To reduce the stack by half,
simply remove every second snap carrier.
• Ripplefold draperies look best when fabricated from medium
weight fabrics.
• Use a professional workroom to fabricate ripplefold drapery
treatments.
• To keep the shape of ripple folds consistent from top to
bottom of a drape, apply buckram to the top of the drapery
for rigidity.
• Hang a ripplefold drape below the track with the fabric top
barely touching the pole or track.
• Sew the ripplefold snap tape 3/8” below the top of the fabric.
• Butt-master carriers can be used on center draw ripplefold
draperies. They maintain the beautiful curvature of the drape,
but are not recommended for black out use.
• When a blackout is needed on a ripplefold treatment, be
aware that light will travel through the top of the drape unless
a valance is used.
• Order an even number of ripplefold snap carriers to ensure
the drape returns into the wall.
• To hide a baton behind the drape, simply add a glide between
the last two ripplefold glides (near end of pole or track).
• Do not sew ripplefold drapery treatment before receiving the
drapery hardware.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Traverse pole and CS track intended for all fabric types.
• For center draw treatments, use an overlap or underlap master
carrier to prevent a gap between the panels to prevent light
from coming through.
• When using an overlap or underlap master carrier, sew an
overlap stiffener to the drape to create a firm edge. Connect
the master carrier to the stiffener, then attach a baton which
rests on the face of the drape encouraging baton use
(reduces tugging of drape).
• Order an even number of glides to ensure the drape returns
into the wall.
• Four glides estimated per foot of pole.
• When splicing two traverse poles, position a bracket on each
side of the splice for ample support. Use Splice Cover DPA7000
to conceal undesirable seam.
• Use endstops to hold drapery treatments in place.

BENDING MEASURING TIPS
FOLLOW THESE TIPS WHEN INTEGRATING CUSTOM POLE BENDS INTO YOUR WINDOW DESIGN.
• Measure each individual window. Do not assume all windows are of equal size.
• Measure with extreme accuracy. Round all measurements to the nearest 1/8 inch.
• When planning your window design be mindful to corners, crown molding, doors, cabinetry and built-in furniture
which may interfere with your installation.
• Consider your finished pole length when providing dimensions. Factor in the added length of your finials or
endcaps when establishing your pole length. Custom cut poles are non-returnable.
• Pole angles should be equivalent to wall angles. Example: wall angle=45° pole angle=45°
• 90° bay bends are available. Minimum angle radius of 11½". To order, use item number DP930. Additional fee applies.
• For bay windows we do not recommend placing a bracket where two walls meet, rather position brackets to the
left or right of a corner.
• Select a hardware collection that supports the functionality of your window treatment. Manhattan and Park
Avenue are traverse collections offering c-rings or glides which bypass brackets and spliced areas. Collections
featuring standard drapery rings include Tuxedo, Chalet, Fifth Avenue, Cabana and Signature Metal. View any of
these collections online.

Apply a drapery pole from the Platforms Collection or any 2" wood collection to our MOTRZ motorized track as a decorative fascia.
Poles used as a decorative fascia cannot be custom bent. Allow extra fascia length to accommodate finials and coverage of track.

MEASURING & INSTALLATION
MEASURING GUIDELINES
• Measure each individual window. Do not assume all windows are of equal size.
• Measure with extreme accuracy. Round all measurements to the nearest 1/8 inch. Custom products produced specifically for you are non-returnable.
• Consider your finished pole length when providing dimensions. Factor in the added length of your finials or endcaps when establishing the dimension
you provide to us.
• When planning your window design, be mindful to corners, crown molding, doors, cabinetry and built-in furniture which may interfere with your installation.
• For custom bend orders, a template in actual size is required. It is important that you work with your installer to provide accurate dimensions and bend
angles as they will determine your finished product. Miscalculations may cause incorrect bending. Custom bent poles are non-returnable.
• For motorization systems, we ask that you provide specifications and a sketch. Please complete the Motorization Worksheet on page 54 to submit your
information. We will prepare a quote upon receiving your completed worksheet.
• When providing a sketch of your window design, please indicate if your drawing is based on wall-to-wall measurements or pole measurements. This will
influence how we interpret your sketch.
• When creating a ripplefold drapery treatment, please refer to our Ripplefold Fabrication Charts to assist you in ordering the correct quantity of hardware
components. Access the charts online under the Park Avenue collection.
• To alleviate errors, we recommend that you order your drapery hardware before finalizing the fabric quantity needed for your drapery panels.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
• We highly recommend you use a professional installer to ensure a safe installation.
• Hardware should be screwed into wall studs or with wall anchors.
• A center support bracket is suggested for pole spans over 6 feet. Place a bracket every 2 1/2 feet.
• When splicing two poles, utilize a bracket to provide necessary center support. The bracket will also conceal the undesirable seam.
• As an estimate, use four drapery rings per foot of pole. Indicate the number of rings you need when ordering.
