Cover the frame using Costume. Turn over and trim away excess and cut out the centre piece. Cover the square insert using the black side of Costume. Cut a 8cm (3¼") square using cream reverse Performance. Rubon a quote from the Dream rubons and adhere to the centre of the black piece using foam tape. Cluster flowers to the bottom left corner of the frame cut out. filmstrip frame Al Hannah Products Used: SB2108 Filmstrip Frame, Velvet Ensemble Paper, 6½" Paper Pad, Kaisercolour Black Paint, Rewind Black Rubons, Specialty Paper Acetate Sheet, Laugh Rubons, Foam Mounting Tape OTHER: Black Ink, Acetate Paint all frame edges black, remembering to paint inside cut out areas of frame also. Cover frame with Interval (reverse). Ink all edges. Cut strips from the cream sheet in the paper pad and adhere to the back of the frame to cover the film strip holes. Print two photos approximately 8.8x6cm (3 3/8 x 2 ½”) and attach. Cut a rectangle from acetate and adhere to back centre of frame. Apply a rubon to the die cut from the paper paper and attach with foam mounting tape. Apply other rubons as desired to complete. 3 velvet ensemble 60th album Al Hannah Products Used: SB194 60th Album, Velvet Ensemble Paper Collection, Frames Wooden Flourishes, Black Pearl Flourishes, Paper Blooms: Honey, Ruby, Buttercream; Chipboard Alpha 2, Black Alphas, Black Album Rings, Life Sentiments Clear Stamps OTHER: Glass Finish, Gold Misting Spray, Small Flowers Cover the number 60 with Performance (reverse). Trim edges to neaten. For the next spread, cover with Interval. For the last two pages cover with Matinee (reverse) and leave piano key strip on as shown. For the front page: Cut around the flourish and leave acetate border. Spray the flowers and small wooden flourish frame with gold mist. Set aside to dry. Cut a small piece from Opera to fit behind the wooden frame, stamp with a sentiment and adhere. Adhere flourishes as shown, then flowers to create a cluster. Cover the chipboard letters with the black alphas, and cover with glass finish. Once dry, adhere as shown. Attach album rings and finish with ribbons. bracket album Melissa Kennedy Products Used: SB2053 Bracket Album, Velvet Ensemble 6½" Paper Pad, Paper blooms Honey,Sage & Augergine, Black and White Tiny Alpha Stickers, Mannequins Flourish, Black Pearl Strips, Foam Tape. OTHER: Diamond Glaze, Twinklets - Diamond Dust, Organza Ribbon, Black Ink Pad Cover each page of the album using papers of your choice from the Velvet Ensemble Paper Pad. Ink around the edges of each page. Cover: The illustrated cover is covered using the green flocked page in the paper pad. Cut a small cream rectangle and ink edges. Adhere to the left side of the cover. Use black ink and swipe over the mannequin wooden flourish. Sew together strips of black oranza ribbon and gather and tie around waist of the dressfrom. Sprinkle diamond dust on the top of the mannequin to create a sparkling bodice. Once dry adhere to the right side of the cream piece. Cut quote from one of the tags in back of paper pad and foam tape to a larger piece of maroon paper. Cluster paper blooms to the lower left corner of the album cover. Add extra title to top right corner using the tiny alpha stickers. Use diamond glaze on elements of the paper that you would like to highlight such as the keys of the piano strip. 4 | Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine velvet ensemble cuckoo clock Kylie Obst Products Used: SB2090 Cuckoo Clock, Velvet Ensemble Paper Collection, Paper Pad, Black Kaisercolour, Black Pearl Strips, Bird and Round Bookplate Wood Flourishes. OTHER: Wood beads, decorative punch. Sand all pieces to remove any rough edges. Paint all edges, the back, the picket fence and back of pinecones in black. Cover the back piece with Performance then trim the small window and clock hole. Cover the back of the small window in a black piece from the paper pad and decorate with punched out strip from Interval (reverse). Attach the bird flourish. Use the maroon, gloss piece from the paper pad to cover the straight roof piece and the pinecones. To cover the scalloped roof piece use the lightly patterned piece from paper pad. Adhere both pieces to the top of the clock Cover the clock face in Interval (reverse) and layer transparent Theatre over the top. Cut a circle from Opera 7cm (2 ¾ “) in diameter, attach to centre of clock face and finish with black pearl strip. Attach quote strip from Performance to the bottom of the picket fence. Glue fence to base and adhere to clock. Thread beads, attach to pinecones and tie these to the clock. Cover scalloped, straight edge (which sits under the fence) with Opera (reverse) and adhere to clock. mamma mia! Al Hannah Products Used: Velvet Ensemble Paper Collection, Mini Journal Tags, 6½" Paper Pad, Black Rubons, Pearl Brads, Foam Mounting Tape, Sticker Sheet, Black Alphas, Tiny Alpha Stickers. OTHER: Decorative edge punch Use Interval (reverse) as the background for this layout. Cut the piano keys and tickets (in one piece) from Opera and adhere on left edge of page. Punch two decorative strips from Matinee (one will need to be 30.5cm) and the other approximately 10cm. Tuck the smaller piece of the decorative edge underneath the piano keys. Cut a rectangle from Matinee 24.5x21.5cm (9 ½ x 8 ½”) and adhere. From the paper pad use the red and white striped page, tear along the bottom edge and adhere. Attach the 30.5cm red decorative edge as shown. Cut the film strip from Opera and adhere. Print three photos 7.5x6cm (3x2 ¼”) and attach as shown. Finish layout with rubons, die cut tags and brads. 5 velvet ensemble dance Melissa Kennedy Products Used: Velvet Ensemble Paper Collection, 12”x12” Sticker Sheet, Printed Acetate, Printed Chipboard, Paper Blooms (Terracotta, Honey), Black Pearl Strips. OTHER: Misc small flowers. Use Entertain as the background for this layout. Cut a small rectangle from the reverse Performance and adhere to the top left corner. Cut a 25cm x 22.5 cm (9¾" x 8½") and overlay 2cm from the bottom edge. Cut a 13cm x 23.5cm (5¼" x 9") rectangle from Matinee (reverse), leaving the piano key strip included along the bottom edge in the measurement. Run the black and white damask sticker strip along the left edge of the red piece. Cut a 16cm x 6cm (6½" x 2½) black rectangle from Costume and adhere across page. Attach black pearl strips to the top and right edges. Matte the main photograph using Performance cream reverse. Attach two photographs as illustrated with a piece of music acetate running across page under the bottom edges. Complete by adding printed chipboard and paper blooms as desired. dad Kylie Obst Products Used: Velvet Ensemble Paper Collection, Paper Pad, Journal Tags, Rubons, Black Pearl Strips, Fancy Wood Flourish, Raw Paper Tags, ‘Father’ Rubons. OTHER: Black String, brown ink, border punch, Tim Holtz Rock Candy Use Opera’(reverse) as background and lightly distress edges. Trim bottom third of the Balcony die cut paper and adhere near base of page. Use the striped piece from the paper pad, tear an edge and attach near centre of page just above die cut. Distress the edges of a teal piece from paper pad and adhere above die cut. Cut the orange strip from Opera, distress and attach over edge of die cut. Use a border punch to create a decorative edge on the maroon paper from paper pad and attach near top. Mat the photo on Costume (reverse) and adhere. Apply ‘Dad’ letters to tag, tie string and attach just under photo with die cut from paper pad. Ink the flourish and apply Tim Holtz Rock Candy. Once dry attach to layout alongside photo. Finish with pearl strips, die cuts from paper pad and journal tag. 6 | Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine velvet ensemble cardmaking Al Hannah Products Used: Kaisercraft Taupe Cards, 6½" Paper Pad, Friendship Rubons. OTHER: Decorative Punch. Cover front of card with cream sheet from the paper pad, decorative punch the bottom edge of the paper. Adhere two scallop strips from the paper pad. Cut various sized hollow circles, and attach with die cuts from the paper pad. Apply a rubon sentiment to complete. Kylie Obst Products Used: Balcony Specialty Sheet, Paper Pad, Wooden Flourish, Words Rubons, Foam Mounting Tape, Black Kaisercraft Cards Other: Decorative Border Punch Cut a rectangle from Balcony to cover the front of the card. Punch a decorative border at the top and bottom of the rectangle. Cut another small piece from the teal sheet in the paper pad, and punch a scallop border at the top and bottom. Adhere in place. Cut the film strip from the sheet in the paper pad. Adhere as shown. Attach a Victorian border die cut and apply a sentiment to a cream sheet and trim into strips as shown. Adhere with foam mounting tape. Finish with a raw wooden flourish. 7 pink gelato mini canvases Melissa Kennedy Produts Used: SB160 Mini Canvases, Pink Gelato 6½" Paper Pad, Black and Coloured Rubons, Bird and Vines Wooden Flourishes, Chanteuse Posies, Bliss Pearls, White Pearl Strips, Paper Blooms, White Crochet Doilie, Kaisercolour white paint. OTHER: Pink ink pad, mini flowers. Paint the edges of each square wooden canvas using Kaisercolour white paint. Cover mini canvases using a selection of papers from the Pink Gelato Paper Pad, Ink around the edges of these using a soft pink ink pad. Top Canvas: Rub on flourish design to top right corner. Cut a crochet doilie in half and adhere to the left side. Ink bird flourish with pink ink and stiple white paint over the top. Adhere to the bottom left corner along with a cluster of flowers. Middle Canvas: Rub on quote towards the lower left bottom corner Bottom Canvas: Cut remaining crochet doilie in half again and adhere one piece to the bottom left corner along with a vine flourish inked the same way as the bird above. Adhere a scallop border strip to the bottom edge with a white pearl strip over the join. Cluster a mixture of paper blooms and flowers cut from the designs in paper pad and layer using foam tape. Attach round quote from the die cuts at the back of the paperpad to the rop right corner using foam tape. Complete by adding pearls to the centres of the flowers. flourish tree Melissa Kennedy Produts Used: SB2076 Flourish Tree, Pink Gelato, Bliss Pearls, Magical Flutterbys, Paper Blooms, Foam Tape, White Paint. OTHER: Various coloured ink pads. Spray paint the flourish tree white and allow to dry. Use Watermelon and cut out a number of various sized flowers from this page. Cluster and adhere groups of flowers on the tree. Use a combination of handmade (instructions below) cut out flowers, paper blooms and ribbon. Adhere some using foam tape to add dimesion. Attach blue pearls to the centres of the cut out flowers and add flutterbys to complete. Create your own Roses! 1 2 3 1. Cut a circle and then cut a spiral towards the centre. Ink or distress outside edges of the spiral if desired. 2. Lightly dampen or mist paper to soften. Crumple circle and slightly roll over the outside edges. Work towards the centre. 3. Starting from the outside edge of the circle roll and work towards the centre, ensuring the edges are still slightly folded over to create the curved petals. If you think your rose is wound too tightly let it go slightly until you and happy. Glue edges underneath so that it won’t unwind further. 8 | Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine pink gelato round clock Kylie Obst Products Used: SB2072 Round Clock, Pink Gelato Paper Collection, 12x12” Sticker Sheet, Ribbons, Die Cut Elements, Paper Blooms, Foam Tape. OTHER: Organza ribbon, pink embossing powder, Diamond Dust. Paint outside edges and inside of petal cut outs with Blossom paint. Cover back piece of clock with Watermelon (reverse) and front piece with Blueberry (reverse). Cut out the petal shapes. Apply ribbons to clock and bike rub on to a yellow circle. Cut out circle and attach using foam tape. Emboss numbers and attach. Cut out a selection of flowers from Watermelon. Use a craft knife to make incisions along petal lines on a small yellow flower and larger pink flower. Carefully curl up sections of flower then adhere to clock using foam tape. Attach flower sticker behind. Adhere words from 12x12” Sticker Sheet to edge of clock. Layer a selection of cut out flowers, die cut flowers and paper blooms between the six and nine. Finish by gluing two clock pieces together and then attach clock mechanism. trinket chest Kylie Obst Products Used: SB2109 Trinket Chest, Pink Gelato Paper Collection, Paper Pad, Rubons, Blossom Kaisercolor, White Doilie, Paper Blooms, Butterfly Wood Flourish, Paper Flowers, foam tape. OTHER: Organza ribbon, white embossing powder, Diamond Dust, acetate, Kindy Glitz. Paint all edges and base in Blossom. Cover back in ‘Honey Dew’ (reverse) and sides in ‘Watermelon’. Use the pink striped piece from paper pad to cover lid and the blue with flowers to cover the drawers and top skinny wood piece. Create layered flowers on the drawers by applying rubons to acetate, cut out and attach with foam tape. Pop a pink flower under flower in bottom right hand corner and add Kindy Glitz detail to sections of flowers. Adhere the blue die cut to right hand corner of lid and white doilie to left hand side. Apply Diamond Dust to paper blooms and once dry attach to the doilie in a cluster. Slip loops of organza ribbon in between flowers. Emboss the butterfly flourish and adhere to lid and flowers, ensuring enough space at the back to allow the lid to open. 9 pink gelato heart designer album Al Hannah Products Used: SB2029 Heart Designer Album, Pink Gelato Paper Collection, Paper Pad, Sticker Sheet, Pearl Pearl Strips, Love & Cherish Wooden Flourish Set OTHER: Ticket Punch, Acetate, Decorative Punches. Cover frame album page with dot page from paper pad. Cut a small strip of Honey Dew, use the border punch and adhere next to the album ring holes. Cover the back of the loveheart with Honey Dew. Trim to neaten. Cut out various flowers from the Watermelon sheet to use throughout the album. Adhere the Victorian border die cut, the long rectangle and circle die cut as shown. Add a yellow flower to complete the cluster on the front of the album. Add a pearl strip to the yellow decorative edge. Create your own flower if desired to sit partially over the loveheart. Cover the first open page spread with Strawberry (reverse). Cover the next open page spread with Watermelon (reverse). Cover the last two pages with Vanilla. Embellish with photos, quotes and flowers as desired. meeting heidi swapp Al Hannah Products Used: Pink Gelato Paper Collection, 6½" Paper Pad, Sticker Sheet, Black Rubons, Treasured Memories Mini Clear Stamp, Pink Alpha Stickers, Pearl Flourishes. OTHER: Decorative edge punch, Rubons, Kidyglitz, Corner rounder Use Blueberry (reverse) as the background for this layout. Use the mauve sheet with pink dots from the paper pad, round corners and attach to right hand edge of background page. Stitch across the top and right edge if desired. Print a 7x5" photo (desaturate if desired) and stitch edges if desired. Cut a large rectangle from Strawberry, round the corners and adhere. Cut a strip from Watermelon (reverse) and adhere as shown. Attach the pink and white scallop strip from the sticker sheet. Cut out flowers from Watermelon and attach with some die cut shapes from the paper pad. Finish with pearl flourishes, a title and rubons. 10 | Kaisercraft Workshop Magazine pink gelato live fully Melissa Kennedy Products Used: Pink Gelato Paper Collection, 12"x12" Sticker Sheet, Black Rubons, Mini Journal Tags, Paper Blooms Coconut & Buttercream, White Lace, White Pearl Strips, Foam Tape. OTHER: Blue organza ribbon, white ink pad Use Watermelon (reverse) as the background for this layout, leaving the border strip on the bottom edge and trimming the top edge instead by 1cm. Rub on the floral vine design to the top right corner. Cut out a scallop circle using Blueberry and adhere towards the right side of your layout. Cut a yellow rectangle from Honey Dew and rub on the bicycle border to the bottom edge of this piece. Adhere towards the left side of your page, with a lace strip and scallop cut border along the bottom. Adhere a photograph to your page with a journalling tag attached under the right side and additional lace and scallop border up the right side. Stick the bicycle border from sticker sheet along bottom edge of photograph and part of the floral sticker strip to the lower right corner. Cut out the bicycle from Vanilla and adhere to the lower right corner using foam tape. Cluster flowers to the right of the back and front wheels. Use the remaining part of the floral sticker and adhere under the top left corner of your photograph along with other flowers cut out from the design elements of the remaining papers. Use a white ink pad to colour a flourish bird and attached to the top left corner of your photograph using foam tape. logan Create your journalling using the words on the sticker sheet. Kylie Obst Products Used: Pink Gelato Paper Collection, Paper Pad, 12x12” Sticker Sheet, Journal Tags, Baby Pin Wood Flourish, Chipboard alpha #3, Powder Blue Alpha Stickers, Script and Owl Clear Stamps, Mini Alphas, Tiny Alphas, White Lace, Baby Rubons, White Paper Tags, Foam Tape. OTHER: Black and grey ink, grosgrain ribbon, organza ribbon, black pen, white embossing powder. Distress edges of Vanilla (reverse) to use as background. Cut a piece from Honey Dew (reverse) 24x24cm (9 ½ x 9 ½ “), doodle and/or write around edge and attach to page on an angle. Cut a piece of ‘Strawberry’ (reverse) 20x21cm (8 x 8 ¼ “), distress edges lightly with grey ink and adhere to Vanilla in an angle. Stamp script onto white tag. Stamp Owl three times onto blue, orange and yellow paper. Cut out blue owl, the wings only from orange and eyes from yellow. Use foam tape to layer and create a 3D owl. Attach to top right hand corner of page. Slip the stamped tag, die cuts and journal tag with rubon applied under the top photo and adhere photos on an angle. Emboss or paint the top of the wood flourish pin and attach to page near photos. Tie knots in the lace and ribbon then attach near bottom of page. Apply tiny alpha letters to a die cut date tag and adhere with foam tape. Use the chipboard alpha and stickers to create your title and finish by adding a selection of stickers from the 12x12” sticker sheet. 11 pink gelato card making Kylie Obst Products Used: Pink Gelato Strawberry (reverse) sheet, Sticker Sheet, Printed Chipboard, Pink Kasiercraft Cards, Foam Mounting Tape, Pink Gelato 6½" Paper Pad. Other: Kindyglitz Cut a rectangle from Strawberry (reverse)and adhere to the back of the card. Add the circle punched border from the sticker sheet, adhering with foam mounting tape at the top and bottom of the card as shown. Adhere the chipboard bicycle with foam mounting tape, and add a few extra flowers from the sheet in the paper pad. To add sparkle to your flowers, finish with kindyglitz. Punch a decorative border on two long rectangle strips from the yellow rose page in the paper pad and adhere as shown. Cut a pink strip from Watermelon (reverse). Adhere a white paper tag off centre, attach the oval die cut with foam mounting tape to sit over the white paper tag. Stamp a sentiment, cut the sentiment into strips and adhere.
