4/ CHASING TOOLS.
The diamond blade machines cut two slots in the
wall face which can then be chased out with a small demolition hammer.
The Impex wall chaser is for use on breeze blocks only, but will cut either a 20mm or
25mm chase to a set depth in one pass. Because of the slow speed of the TCT
cutters very little dust is produced. This can be collected via a dust extraction unit.
Ideal for setting conduits into walls.

6/ COMPACTION EQUIPMENT.
Back fill rammers are ideal for
compacting hard core in confined spaces such as trenches. Feet dimensions start
from 330mm x 250mm. The handle is vibration isolated.

paving bricks and slabs.

3/ CONCRETE VIBRATOR.
These vibrating heads are used to alleviate
the effects of air pockets and settle the aggregate into the mix. This reduces

5/ DISC CUTTERS. These portable saws can be used to cut almost any
type of metal, masonry or concrete. Either with consumable abrasive blades or with
diamond tipped blades. The advantage of the diamond blade is the almost constant
cutting depth of the blade. We are able to sell or hire the different types of diamond
blades, charging a wear rate on the amount of diamond used.

1/ DRAIN AIR BAGS.
Drains and sewers must be tested to BS8005.
A range of drain plugs and bags are available to seal the drains. The drain test kit is
then used to check the the drain. Air is pumped into the drain until a level of 100mm
is indicated. The pressure must not fall below 75mm over a 5 minute period to pass
the test

5/ MORTAR MIXERS.
This type of mixer is a very efficient alternative for
mixing mortar, resins, paints or plasters. The paddle type of mix ensures a very

2/ PUMPS. Centrifugal pumps, either petrol or heavy duty diesel engined
versions come with a semi rigid suction hose and filter and a layflat delivery hose.
Submersible pumps only require a layflat delivery hose. They are electrically
powered and can be fitted with a float switch to switch the power on and off when
the water reaches preset levels. This means that they can be left unattended for long
periods. Where there is a need to clear water to a very low level, ie. 1mm,
submersible puddle pumps may be used. These have a rubber base and will pump
air and water without damage to the pump. Fuel transfer pumps are reversible and
will transfer diesel and light oil.

1/ SAWS, FLOOR, MASONRY & TILE. Care must be taken to
specify the material to be cut to ensure the correct blade is supplied. Water must be
used as a cooling agent sprayed onto the diamond wheel. Diamond blades give a

5/ OILERS & WATER TRAPS.
In line oil reservoir for use with
pneumatic airlines. Fitted with 3/4” claws on each end, these have adjustable feed
screws to allow a small drip of airline oil to feed into the line. This ensures that the
tool is constantly lubricated. Prevents rusting and wear.
Compressing air produces water as a by product, if this is not seperated at source
the water will damage the tool through wear and rust.
The use of a water trap solves this problem.

Grinding
Please note that the Provision and Use of Work Equipment
Regulations states that persons who dress or mount abrasive
wheels to any machine must be trained in accordance with the
regulations and their appointment recorded in a suitable register.
The exceptions to this are fibre backed discs, coated brasives,
diamond blades and mounted wheels
1/ ANGLE GRINDERS. Fitted with the correct type of wheel these
machines will either cut or grind metal and stone. If fitted with a backing pad and
fibre discs they can be used to polish and grind metal. Diamond discs are more
suitable for cutting reinforced concrete or where a constant cutting depth is required.
Dust extraction guards can be fitted when requested. We sell a vast array of discs
