This year we will once again be offering a number of services
to help ensure your trade fair visit runs as smoothly as possible.
In this brochure you will find all the important information
for planning your travel arrangements and accommodation
in Munich, including details of the planned traffic routes,
our shuttle service, and the on-site baggage drop-off service.
We have also put together a few restaurant tips so you can
sit back and relax after all your hard work. We hope you enjoy

Airport shuttle
The shuttle bus service operates non-stop between the airport
and EXPO REAL. Buses run every 30 minutes, and stop right
outside the main North Entrance and the West Entrance of the
trade fair center (additional buses will be put on at peak times).

Baggage Drop-off at EXPO REAL
You can hand in your luggage at EXPO REAL and it will be taken
to the airport for you. This free service is available to you on
October 6 and 7, 2015. The baggage drop-off point is at the
West Entrance and it will accept luggage for flights with the
following airlines: Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and LOT.

Emissions sticker needed for green zone
The city center of Munich is a green zone, which only vehicles
with a green emissions sticker are allowed to enter. The exhibition
center lies outside this zone, so the sticker requirement will
only apply to you if you are traveling into or through this zone.

Green zone
The green zone is the city-center area bounded by a ring road
called the Mittlerer Ring. The ring road itself is not included in
the zone. The following roads are all part of the Mittlerer Ring:

North Entrance and the West Entrance.

Local public transport
Line U2 on the subway takes you directly to “Messestadt West,”
the subway station for EXPO REAL. Depending on time
of day, trains run every 5 to 10 minutes. Turn to pages 12
and 13 for departure times from Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and from Messestadt West.

By subway
Your MVV ticket to EXPO REAL
Tickets to EXPO REAL no longer entitle you to free travel
on local public transport (operator: MVV), so we recommend
the following ticket options:
For exhibitors:
A special MVV travel ticket for exhibitors is available, costing
€ 28.60. It is valid for the period from October 4 to 7, 2015.
On these days you can use it to travel on the entire MVV local
public transport network (subway—S-Bahn, U-Bahn—bus
and tram), including to and from the airport. Use Order Form
8.3 to order your MVV travel tickets or buy them at the
MVV counter at the West Entrance of the exhibition center.
For visitors:
A “Single 1-Day Ticket” costing € 12 covers the entire local
public transport network (subway—S-Bahn, U-Bahn—bus
and tram), including to and from the airport. Where and how
to buy your ticket:
> Ticket Machines
1. Have ready the printed barcode below and go to an
MVV ticket machine (in any subway station). Please note:
this barcode is not a ticket!
2. Press the green “easy button” on the MVV ticket
machine. Then scan in the barcode.
3. Pay for your MVV ticket at the ticket machine in cash or
by credit card.

and buy a single 1-day ticket.
> MVV MobileTicket
The simplest way to buy your one-day ticket or single-journey
ticket is to use the MVV Companion app. Payment is by credit
card or direct debit. Your ticket is then saved on your mobile
phone. You can also buy your ticket through the EXPO REAL
app (available from the middle of September 2015) using the
direct link to the MVV app.

> Ticket Counter
You can buy MVV tickets at the ticket machines at the stops
or at the ticket counter at the West Entrance of the Messe
München exhibition center. Additional ticket booths for MVV
tickets will also be set up at the West Entrance. Our specially
trained staff will be happy to answer any MVV related
questions.
