SCOTT SOIL & WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
The Scott Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is governed by a five-member

THREE RIVERS PARK DISTRICT
In December 2010, Scott County Board of Commissioners and the Three Rivers Board
of Commissioners entered into a joint powers agreement to collaborate on regional park
and trail services for the residents of Scott County. This agreement outlines a vision for
creating efficiencies that will lead to the continued development of outdoor recreation
opportunities for the residents of Scott County and the region.
Three Rivers Park District is governed by an independent, seven-member Board of
Commissioners. Five members of the board are elected from districts in suburban
Hennepin County, and two members are appointed by the Hennepin County Board of
Commissioners.
