Choosing a Trough Trough position within the paddock is also vital. Studies have shown that stock will graze a paddock dependent on how much energy is required to get to a water source. A strategically placed trough can increase grazing coverage and improve the weight and general wellbeing of the animal. The lid is designed so it cannot be pushed off and the handles allow for easy removal and placement without pinching fingers. The protector chamber and lid ensures your water supply is protected. TRP900N, TRP750N and TRP515N offer lower sides to prevent young stock from being injured. It is recommended that these troughs are checked regularly when stock are present, to ensure damage to the trough valve has not occurred.
