ST. \..~ Premiere Event - Port St. Lucie Historical Society
@2010 Port St. Lucie Historical Society, Inc .. All Rights Reserved A Docudrama commemorating the life, times and people of Port St. Lucie, Florida. 2011 4 o ~ c.; ~~ ST. \..~ Premiere Event Wednesday, April 27, 2011 Introduction The City of Port St. Lucie, with its incredibly diverse population, is truly a city for all ages and for all people. One of its treasures, the beautiful, almost pristine St. Lucie River beckons you back to yesteryears, where times were simple and people's lives less complicated. To celebrate our city's first 50 years in a unique way, we have produced a full-length docudrama movie detailing the city's history and highlighting the challenges and triumphs of our forefathers. Our goal was to honor the people who have made our city their home. We did so by rallying local businesses and talent, like our production company, Treasure Coast Films, Inc., and a host of wonderful residents who volunteered their time and talent to help deliver this message. Over ninety percent of the people involved and the money spent on this project were kept within our community. While we couldn't possibly capture every resident on film, we have captured a representative cross-section of our people from every walk of life within the community. You may recognize family, neighbors or friends as you sit back, relax, and enjoy viewing this movie about our "City of Dreams" that we call home.
