Power Farming met something of a milestone earlier this year when it sold its 1000th Deutz-Fahr tractor
since taking on the brand little over four and a half years ago.
In July 2010 Power Farming were appointed the Australasian
distributors of Deutz-Fahr tractors, and New Zealand farmers and
contractors have been reaping the benefit ever since.
The One Thousandth Deutz-Fahr (a 5130TTV) was recently delivered
to Maruia farmers/contractors, Peter and Margaret Brooker.

he’s “gob-smacked” as to how good it is. “It’s so incredibly smooth
that you just want to get in and drive it,” he says. “It’s an absolute
dream, we are well pleased with it. My 16 year old daughter was

Aussies invade New Zealand –
with great success
Power Farming recently hosted 60 Australian dealers on a trip to
New Zealand for a first-hand look at several new machines being
launched in the Kverneland, Maschio and McHale product ranges
and for intensive overall product training.

demonstrations at Kinloch, in Central

BALER WRAPPER
World first film-on-film wrapping system that delivers
higher quality silage and makes recycling easier.
The film-on-film technology produces better silage than conventional
balers and saves operator time and money.
The system applies plastic directly onto the bale in the bale chamber,
eliminating the need for netwrap ensuring it does not stretch and that
the bale does not expand.

A variable chamber combination with
patented bale transfer & wrapping system.
The Fusion 3 Vario combines the Fusion 3 baler and
the V660 Variable belt baler into one efficient unit.
The special bale transfer system accommodates the
variable chamber and quickly moves the bale to the
wrapping system producing straw bales from 0.7m to
1.7m and Silage bales from 1.1m to 1.45m.
The Schuitemaker Rapide is the only real dual-purpose
precision chop loader wagon and silage wagon on the
market. Suitable for the gathering and cutting of all
sorts of grass but also for the transport of heavy silage
products during the harvesting of maize.

ROTA FLOW SPREADERS
The Rotaflow principle is a unique ‘patented’ system where the fertiliser granules are rotated before
they reach the spreading vanes. This prevents fragmentation whilst also providing consistent
spreading characteristics. Models are available with effective spreading widths of 12 to 45 metres
and 1100-3450 litre capacity and are undoubtedly one of the most accurate on the market.
