Fans
In your hands, you are holding a book compiled in order to
depict the profile, or even better the grandeur, of the greatest Greek club in the country: Olympiacos! A club whose name
is surrounded by unrivalled glory, pride, and unique history
and tradition! A name written in golden letters over red and
white: OLYMPIACOS! The Legend of Greek football, the club
that is linked to success, enters the new era of European and
international football, as a great club amongst the best, growing its name and image in European football and beyond that!
Olympiacos, a club adored more massively than any other
club, on Greek soil and elsewhere, draws its power from the
tireless love shown by its fans! Red and white, a beating heart
in the stands, passion, power and voice. The common phrase
“half of Greeks are fans of Olympiacos” may not suffice to describe the current situation, since the wave of the Legend’s
supporters grows bigger and bigger. The loyal Olympiacos
fans are now more than half of the Greeks and still increasing!
Olympiacos loyal fans
are now more than
half of Greeks… and
still increasing!
In a world full of difficulties, uncertainty and doubts, Olympiacos steadily looks to the future, making leaps forward when
others still find it difficult even to walk and only think about
how to hold the Legend back! Progress, financial stability,
investments, prosperity, faith, passion, vision, social responsibility and continuous contribution to our fellow people, and
solidarity to those in need represent Olympiacos FC’s main
concerns who daily takes all necessary actions to this direction.
However, the work done has a long-term outlook. It looks
to a future that is expected to be bright! The steps forward
in the European football scene and the recognition overseas
(we remind you the legendary trip to the ICC during the summer of 2014, when Olympiacos flew overseas and participated in a tournament together with the greatest European
clubs) are the main reasons why the name of Olympiacos is
on everyone’s lips; the club makes history and earns respect
also on an international level!
The new era for Olympiacos has already arrived! We experience it every day and it’s an era filled with titles, distinctions,
trophies, moments of great joy and intense feelings, things
that build the profile of Olympiacos Sindesmos Filathlon Pireos. Everything matters, including the club’s social activities,
its contribution to our fellow-people and our close partnership with UNICEF! Olympiacos is a huge organization that
works day in, day out for the progress of Greek football and
sports as a whole. But, first and foremost, the Legend is a
really big family. And it will continue like this, having already
celebrated its 90 years of life. And as we always say…
We keep on dreaming!

President
Evangelos Marinakis
Evangelos Marinakis took part in Olympiacos FC’s share
capital increase in August 2010 and took over a 70% majority
of shares following his agreement with then Olympiacos President, Socratis Kokkalis. During his presidency, the club won
the championship titles in the 2010/2011, 2011/12, 2012/13,
2013/2014 and 2014/2015 seasons as well as the Greek Cup
in 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2014/15. He was also president of
the Superleague from August 2010 until September 2011. In
May 2014, Mr. Marinakis was elected as Municipal Councilor
of Piraeus, gathering more than 50% of the votes of the independents of “Pireas Nikitis”, led by Olympiacos Vice President,
Mr. G. Moralis.
In terms of business activities, Mr. Marinakis is the President
and CEO of Capital Maritime & Trading Corp. since its establishment. He also owns significant investments in the area of
energy, shipping and real estate. Mr. Marinakis has studied
in the UK and holds a B.A. in International Business Management and a Master’s degree in International Relations.
Both through Olympiacos FC and as an individual, Mr. Marinakis offers significant charitable work. During his presidency
in October 2013, a major international partnership was announced between Olympiacos FC and UNICEF with the aim
of financing the ‘100% Campaign’, the most important vaccination initiative for children across the world. In the context of this effort, Olympiacos has taken to raise necessary
funds for vaccinating children in areas of urgent need, while
the UNICEF logo will feature on the club’s official jersey. He
financially supports the Kazantzaki Museum in Heraklion, the
great Greek poet and scholar whose works have made Greece
famous all over the world. Moreover, he has supported the
UN’s Development Plan both for Pakistan and Haiti, Japan’s
reconstruction in the aftermath of the destructive tsunami,
the “Arktouros” environmental protection organization, the
Aghia Sofia Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Clinic under
Limassol’s General Hospital, as well as children organizations
such as “Argo”, “Mazi Gia to Paidi” (Together for Children) and
the Hadzikiriakeio Foundation. His on-going support for the
“Elpida” (Hope) Foundation is extremely important, as it is his
struggle for these kids and families who fight a proper “battle”
on a daily basis. Another important aspect of his charitable
work has to do with paying for daily meals and summer camps
run by the Holy Church of Piraeus and Nikaia, as well those
offered by the Syros Holy Church to all parishes of neighboring
islands and addressed to large families and people in need of
help and support.

Piraeus: The Great
Port & the Birthplace
of the LEGEND!
In the beginning of the 19th century, the then deserted and haphazard port of Piraeus was used by travellers who disembarked in order to
visit the Acropolis. Little could they imagine its future development!
Piraeus is today the biggest commercial and passenger port in Greece.
It is considered the most important port in the Eastern Mediterranean
and the biggest European port in terms of passenger traffic. At least
30 million visitors pass through the port every year in order to visit
Athens, mainland Greece, the Aegean islands and Crete. Piraeus also
harbours big cruise ships carrying visitors from all over the world.
It is widely known that the name “Piraiefs” comes from the word
“peran” (beyond), meaning the distant or opposite land. Others claim
that the name comes from “dia peran” or “peran reo” and the verb “peraio” (to conclude), namely to ferry people to the other side, based
on the fact that the area was separated by the coastline of Attica by
a marshy area, Alipedio, in the region where Faliro is located today.
THE OLD PORT OF PIRAEUS
HISTORY
ANOTHER ASPECT OF THE PORT
We keep on dreaming!
In 1834, after the liberation, the capital of the newly established
Greek nation was moved from Nafplio to Athens and a new era of
prosperity began for Piraeus, since the new capital needed a worthy
port. Thus, in the years that followed, Piraeus experienced significant demographic, residential, commercial and industrial development. In the early 20th century, it attracted people from the Saronic
Islands, the Cyclades Islands, Hios, Crete and Mani. Development
was succeeded by the upgrading of infrastructure. Permanent tanks
were constructed in the Ietioneia Coast and the magnificent Piraeus
Municipal Theatre was built.

ILLUMINATED PORT OF PIRAEUS
The end of the war meant the beginning of the reconstruction of the
city, which in combination with the significant Greek shipping activity and its emergence as a global power after the war, transformed
Piraeus into the largest port of Eastern Mediterranean coast.
The 1922 Asia Minor Catastrophe and the uprooting of Greeks from
Asia Minor resulted in Piraeus welcoming a significant number of
the refugees, and the population doubled. Nevertheless, the most
important thing was that the refugees materially contributed to the
shaping of the personality as well as the cultural identity of the city.
The last catastrophe Piraeus knew was World War II during which it
was repeatedly bombarded. The end of the war marked the beginning of the town’s reconstruction which, combined with the performance of the Greek merchant shipping and its post-war establishment as a global force, transformed Piraeus into the biggest port in
Eastern Mediterranean.

THE EXQUISITE PASALIMANI
PIRAEUS WINNER!
Olympiacos is inextricably linked to Piraeus, the shipping industry and everyday people, whose ideals are reflected through the
Young man bearing the laurels of victory and their love for him!
The endless work of the Mayor, Mr. Yannis Moralis (and Vice President of FC Olympiacos), and of course the work of Mr. Evangelos
Marinakis, who was elected as a member of the Piraeus city council in the latest municipal and local elections. The city changes its
image and profile, it constantly improves and also learns to offer
again to its citizens and to the people in need.
This is exactly the key question of all the people and organisations
of the city that formed the core of the group that, under the flag of
the Piraeus-Winner ticket, managed to make their love of the city
a strong current than inspired and embraced all of Piraeus. Therefore, guided by their will for continuous offer and the vision of
handing to the new generations of the Piraeus citizens a modern
city they will be proud of, the municipality has been setting the
foundations for the past year for the grand goal set from the first
minute by the President of Olympiacos, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis:
Piraeus to become like its pride, the Legendary team that
was born in its neighbourhoods, and to excel at all levels. The
slogan for Piraeus to look toward the sea, that characterised
and defined the beginning of this effort, is indicative of the
targeting for the use of vast possibilities this city has and in
particular its port that always was, is and always will be the
lifeblood and driving force of the society of Piraeus. This way,
Piraeus will be promoted as a whole and win the place it deserves not only as an international maritime hub, but also as
a popular cruising destination which will offer the visitors the
possibility to enjoy its natural beauty and the unique hospitality of its citizens.

UNVEILING ONE OF THE CITY’S PLAYGROUNDS
90 Years since the
establishment of
a Legend!
The moments when the grand passion of life picks really special
people who undertake the duty to express it, give it form and
name it, are extremely rare! In Moira’s tavern, on the afternoon
of 10 March 1925, it was a rare and extremely historical moment! It’s where Karaoli-Dimitriou Street is today. It was on that
day, 90 years ago, when the greatest sports club of Greece was
established. This club was Olympiacos!
This joint was house to a really important event that day, when
Piraeus was abuzz with life and bearing many wounds as well as
aspirations. The city’s open community, led by its most prominent citizens, welcomed the economic migrants from Crete,
Mani, the islands as well as the refugees coming from Asia
Minor to form the most powerful and resilient passion mixture
even experienced by the Greek society! What took place on that
day in Moira’s tavern was… meant to happen in Piraeus only.
There was never a more suitable place to host something that
fresh! This was 90 years ago…
90 years passed since that day. 90 years full of distinctions, joys,
important wins, more joys, but also sad and worrisome moments and one ineffable tragedy… 90 years with the “boat”
of OLYMPIACOS sailing the seas of glory. Because being a fan of
OLYMPIACOS is not a conviction. It’s a blessing… 90 years that
were celebrated in 2015 in a wonderful way. The Port of Piraeus
wore its Sunday best and… was on fire! This is your home, your
fort. This is your castle, this is where your strength is; and all
the club’s loyal fans gathered that night in the Bay of Zea and
engulfed the IDEA OF OLYMPIACOS in flames! 90 years of untold
joys, untold pride and honour. 90 years of being at the top, 90
years of GRANDEUR and the SOUL OF OLYMPIACOS!
The brotherhood of all the peoples on Earth was the dominant
message in a world that had just finished fighting a World War!
In Greece in particular, this message was dramatically prevalent
since it meant first and foremost that all Greeks should unite!
This national imperative was firstly acknowledged by Piraeus
and Olympiacos who did something about it! And this is the
reason why the idea of Olympiacos quickly spread, as a lighting
of hope, unity and glory throughout Greece and gained millions
of followers! This was 90 years ago…
The founding members of Olympiacos were: Vasilis Andrianopoulos, Yannis Andrianopoulos, Yorgos Andrianopoulos, Dinos
Andrianopoulos, Dimitris Andronikos, Dimitris Avdis, Nikos
Vlassis, Stefanos Emmanouil, Nikos Zaharias, Thanasis Kallitsis,
Nikos Kaloudis, Dinos Kaloudis, Notis Kamperos, Kostas Kleidouhakis, Othon Kokkinos, Triantafyllos Kremos, Panayotis Kostalas,
Panayotis Lagoumitzis, Andreas Loukakis, Spyros Loukakis, Yannis Louloudakis, Vangelis Maggopoulos, Mihalis Manouskos,
Stavros Maragkoudakis, Grigoris Doufas, Thodoros Orlof, Fotis
Protopsaltis, Yannis Symigdalas, Nikos Symigdalas, Hristos
Tzoumerkiotis, Vrasidas Trouposkiadis and Spyros Psallidas.
The first President of Olympiacos was Mihalis Manouskos and
the Vice-President was Notis Kamperos.
When Notis Kamperos put forth the name Olympiacos, all those
present agreed. And when Yannis Andrianopoulos, the lawyer
of the company, suggested red and white as the club colours,
again everyone agreed. The same happened with the Young
man wearing the laurels of victory who would be used as the
club’s emblem and who since that day became the synonym of
victory, glory and history! This was 90 years ago…

OUR FANS,
OUR STRENGTH!
Few clubs in the world are lucky enough to enjoy such immense support from their fans! To be idolised so much, in every
possible way, in every possible stadium the team visits to play!
The fans are the heart of Olympiacos and this two-way relationship was and will continue to be the main ingredient in
the Legend’s recipe! Because the title of ‘Legend’ is a result of
victories, titles, distinctions, great captains and great players,
but the Legend is also its fans! Besides, it’s no surprise that all
players make one point very clear with one voice: “We play for
our fans. When we have our fans by our side, we feel stronger!
We are not afraid of anything!”
Everyone that has watched even one match of Olympiacos
in a full Karaiskakis stadium with the stands vibrating is always at a loss for words. However, it’s not just the dynamics
of the fans’ voice that makes friends and foes feel amazed. We
would like to note that in the UEFA Champions League match
against Paris Saint-Germain during the 2013/14 season, we
hit a decibels record! Nevertheless, the visual side also plays
an important role. The show which is very often prepared by
the fans of the Legend in the Karaiskakis stadium, with their
magnificent tifos, travels the globe! Amazing tifo mosaics in
red-and-white background that many times cover the entire
stadium (let us quickly remind the tifos in the matches against
Manchester United and Bordeaux) and make all football fans
delirious! Wonderful paintings and chants that send their messages of support to the squad, or just compositions with white
and red flags, flags with the Legend’s emblem, or even more
sophisticated compositions, grab the eye and make even the
opponents on the pitch “steal” a look to the stands thus losing
their concentration…
with tickets selling out at the Karaiskakis stadium, proving that no
one can interfere in the relationship between Olympiacos and its
fans! Following the sensational record of 18,257 season tickets for
the new Karaiskakis stadium, which ran since the 2006/07 season,
the fans set a new record which will be very difficult to break! They
bought over 21,000 season tickets for the current season and loudly
declared their love for their favourite club! FC Olympiacos continues
in the right direction aiming at growing the name of the Legend on
a European level (since the club has already surpassed Greek standards); the basic concern of everyone working together for the club is
for the LOYAL PEOPLE of Olympiacos to remain happy and proud for
their beloved club! To receive back in every possible way the love they
always send to the club!
“I’LL BE WITH YOU…”
… “wherever you go,” chant the fans of Olympiacos in the stands.
And this is more than true. The “red-and-white” trips have made
history! Countless stands have been dressed in the red and white
of Olympiacos in all stadiums our side has played in! The fans of
Olympiacos are always there, travelling for their beloved side in
Greece, Europe and even the United States! Let us remember the
presence of fans even from Greece during the participation of
Olympiacos in the International Champions Cup, a tournament
held with the participation of the biggest European football clubs,
in the United States in the summer of 2014! The thing is that the
12th player of Olympiacos, its loyal people, knows no boundaries
and is not limited only to the Karaiskakis stadium! “It’s amazing to
see our fans wherever we play,” say the players of Olympiacos, thus
showing their appreciation to the fans for their endless love…
MAJESTIC SUPPORT AND RECORD
SALE OF SEASON TICKETS AT THE
KARAISKAKIS STADIUM!
Everyone always wants to win the championship title. There
can only be one king and the rightful king must always face the
contenders who may, however, use every unfair means when
all other ways constantly fail. The same is true for Olympiacos
who is steadily, first by investing, expanding its name, raising
its dynamic and worthily representing Greek football in the
European scene. The Legend, in addition to the administration
that protects the team, relies on its fans to protect its idea and
its grandeur! The fans steadily declare their presence in the
Karaiskakis stadium, but they broke all records this season!
We of course refer to the sale of season tickets which surpassed all records for the 2015/16 season! The fans have responded well to the season ticket sales for the new campaign,
19
Heading Steadily
Towards the Fifth Star!
When one belongs to the great family of Olympiacos, then
one always has a reason to be happy, proud and smiling
about. Nonetheless, the 2012/2013 season was even more
special. A new page was opened following a spectacular
achievement that season! Our Olympiacos won the championship anew and thus earned its 4th star on the glorified
red-and-white jersey!
By means of substantial choices
as a result of meticulous planning,
the Legend of Greek sports
grows bigger and bigger!
Having written history, the goal can only be one: to continue writing history! Our 40 -celebrated lavishly- championships have already become 41, 42 and we have already
taken the first steps toward the 43rd title this season. The
road to our fifth star stretches ahead, filled with obstacles
and difficulties which our opponents always try to pose for
us. But Olympiacos is the biggest club in this country and it
keeps on growing, making it clear to its opponents that they
will NEVER hold it back! If they can keep us, they are more
than welcome to do it…
By means of substantial choices as a result of meticulous planning, the Legend of Greek sports grows bigger and bigger! This
is an on-going, constant and continuous struggle. Our aim is
to render our OLYMPIACOS absolutely self-sufficient and problem-free, be it financial problems or not, as well as solid and
prosperous; and, at the same time, a successful, title-winning
team that goes forward in Europe, so it can one day fulfil its
greatest vision: winning a European title! It’s not by chance that
our motto is “We keep on dreaming”!
All these things happen for the sake of this club’s grandeur, which
outdoes anything else. As said before, OLYMPIACOS finds itself
walking the road to its 5th star. This road will be hard to cross and
bumpy, since everyone wants to beat the champion and constant
winner! But the Legend is not one to be put off! Our great goal is
to turn our runway of trophies even longer and have a wave that
will take a lot of time to settle before we reach the 50th trophy
and the historical celebration of the 5th star!

08-02-1981: The day
time stopped moving
On February 8, 1981, the gloomiest page was written in the
history of Olympiacos and Greek Sports as a whole. The Gate
7 tragedy occurred on a day when feelings could have been
very different…
Olympiacos played at home against ΑΕΚ for match day 20 of
the Greek Championship. AEK was just 2 points behind leaders Olympiacos on the table. The match ended in a triumph
for Olympiacos; an overwhelming 6-0 victory (to say the
least). Galakos hat-trick, plus one by Kousoulakis, Orfanos
and Vamvakoulas each generated raving cheers to the “redand-white” fans who have not left an inch of free space on
the stands!
The match has just ended. After the final whistle, the crowd
rushed from the stand, i.e. Gate 7, outside in order to reach
Gate 1’s paddock and applaud their stars. The gate, however,
was shut… Or, according to others, just a bit open and certainly not wide enough for those masses crowd to cross it.
All it took was a slip to cause the worst… One after the
other, more fans would squeeze in against the closed gate,
since those coming from the back could not possible comprehend what was going on at the front.
MEMORIAL SERVICE IN THE MEMORY OF THE GATE 7 TRAGEDY VICTIMS (2015)
The outcome of that was that 21 people were trampled upon
and died either on the spot or over the next days as they
succumbed to their injuries; an untold tragedy, shocking
like no other in Greek Sports. Those who were lost on that
day but will never be forgotten: Panagiotis Toumanidis (14
years old) Kostas Sklavounis (16 years old), Ilias Panagoulis
(17 years old), Gerasimos Amitsis (AEK fan, 18 years old), ο
Giannis Kanellopoulos (18 years old), Spiros Leonidakis (18
years old), Giannis Spiliopoulos (19 years old), Nikos Filos
(19 years old), Giannis Dialinos (20 years old), Vassilis Mahas
(20 years old), Efstratios Loupos (20 years old), Mihalis Kostopoulos (21 years old), Zografia Hairatidou (23 years old),
Spiros Andriotis (24 years old), Kostas Karanikolas (26 years
old), Mihalis Markou (27 years old), Kostas Mpilas (28 years
old), Anastasios Pitsolis (30 years old), Antonis Kouroupakis
(34 years old), Hristos Hadzigeorgiou (34 years old), Dimitris
Adamopoulos (40 years old). They will live forever.
Fate wanted it that these 21 people had attended a triumph and become part of a tragedy… Nobody will forget
them. Nobody will stop thinking of them. No matter how
many years have passed, the Gate 7 tragedy will be etched
deeply in the memory of those who love Olympiacos. The
fans’ minds will always be close to the victims’ families; and
every time the crown chants “You guide our paths, brothers”,
our mind and heart will bring our 21 brothers back to life.

Olympiacos & UNICEF
continue together
on their path!
Since October 2013, when Olympiacos and UNICEF joined forces to promote immunization of children in Greece and abroad,
the efforts to support this partnership are very important! The
international partnership between Olympiacos FC and UNICEF
relates to UNICEF’s global campaign under the title “100%
Campaign”, the most significant program of children vaccination across the world. In the context of this great partnership, Olympiacos has taken on enhancing public awareness
amongst fans and to raise the necessary funds (with an aim of
more than 4 million euros within 4 years) for the vaccination
of 100,000 children in areas where there is an urgent need
for that!
The Legend, amongst its annual contribution for the purposes
of the “100% Campaign”, attends the UNICEF awards every
year, thus honoring the children and their work, like paintings, poems and songs by means of which they put forward
their rights! Both sides will go hand-in-hand during UNICEF’s
TV and Radio Marathons with our side’s players supporting
this cause with their active and constant attendance. It is
also worth mentioning that the New York General Meeting
celebrating 25 years of the Convention on the Rights of the
Child addressed an invitation to our Club, aimed at finding
new ways to solve problems that many children face in their
local societies.
This action will go on this year as well with unwavering passion for a better future of all children of this world!
Olympiacos has undertaken
the collection of the necessary
resources (aiming for over 4
million Euros in 4 years) for the

Social
Activity
At Olympiacos, the ideas of charity and contribution to those in
need are deeply rooted in our DNA. This is more true now that
the financial and social crisis which have struck our country,
bringing forth several problems that affect the everyday lives
of millions of people. The alleviation of these problems and the
continuous material and moral support provided by the club to
organisations and people in need is a priority for us, as repeatedly stated by the Olympiacos President, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis.
To this end, Olympiacos has helped hundreds of organisations
and associations in Greece in order to contribute as much as possible to relieve our fellow people from suffering. We were there
to support the population hit by floods in Pserimos, offering
them material and moral support. We did the same when the
earthquake hit the island of Cephalonia by contributing to the
reconstruction cost of damaged schools in the island.
Respectively, the social contribution to the Municipality of Piraeus counts several important actions that improved the everyday life of its young and adult citizens. Olympiacos supports and

Church’s work, a commitment personally undertaken by Mr.
Marinakis to the Ecumenical Patriarch His All Holiness, Bartholomew I during the former’s visit to the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople.
Nevertheless, the social activity of Olympiacos knows no
boundaries. The multidimensional social activity of Olympiacos FC surpasses Greek boundaries, as was the case with the
friendly “Match against Poverty” played in 2010 at Karaiskakis
stadium, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme, when Zidane, Ronaldo and Friends played
to help suffering people in Haiti and Pakistan. In the aftermath of the great earthquake and the tsunami in Japan in
2011, the President of Olympiacos handed the Japanese
ambassador, Mr. Hiroshi Toda, a €100,000 cheque. Moreover, in the summer 2013, for the great testimonial match
held for Steven Gerrard, the President donated the amount
of £100,000 to the Steven Gerrard Foundation and helped
spread the word about the Legend far beyond the world of
football.

“Georgios
Karaiskakis”
Stadium
“Georgios Karaiskakis” was originally built in 1895 as a velodrome. Its purpose was to be used during the 1896 Athens
Olympic Games. Its use as a football stadium began in the
1920s.
1960 was the year of full reconstruction and it was renamed
as “Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium”, a name that remains until
this day in memoriam of Chief General Georgios Karaiskakis
(1782-1827), who was killed at Neo Faliro, very close to the location where the stadium stands today, during the 1821 Greek
Revolution. Its holds a capacity of 31,032 seats.
The home of Olympiacos is even “hotter”
and stronger and the club now has the
most modern stadium in Greece
and one of the most modern
in Europe!

Although also used by other teams (such as Ethnikos and Proodeftiki), the stadium was connected to Olympiacos, who has lived great
moments of glory and triumph within its walls! In 2003, however,
this historic stadium, which was Olympiacos home ground for many
decades, was taken down. A brand new, ultra-modern, fully- covered, football-only stadium that can hold up to 32,115 spectators
was constructed. So, the Olympiacos home ground became even
“hotter” and powerful, and the club has the most up-to-date football
pitch in Greece and one of the most modern in Europe! Fans of Olympiacos have lived unforgettable moments during the first decade of
the new G. Karaiskakis Stadium’s life, and more are yet to come!

The Olympiacos
Museum
Every top club, every great team like Olympiacos must evidently respect and draw attention to its history; let alone
when said history is written in gold letters and largely
graced by titles, honors and successes… The Olympiacos
Museum, located at G. Karaiskakis Stadium, is where everyone can experience that team’s history! The history of the
greatest Greek club, Olympiacos!
Visitors may touch everything that is “red-and-white”, live

founding era of the club until now; portraits of most players
who have played under Olympiacos flag; objects that have
made history both in the old “Georgios Karaiskakis” Stadium
and the new one, such as balls, shoes, goalkeeper gloves

Olympiacos
Offices
Just like our football players, our technical staff has their own
“base”, i.e. the Rentis Training Center, and our club’s administration and personnel who strive daily for Olympiacos have their
own “HQ”. The Olympiacos offices in Piraeus are the core place
where our people run the club from and work for the team’s
smooth operations.
In Kastella-locate Alexandra Square, there is another Olympiacos “homelike place” that was inaugurated back in September
2000. It is an impressive building, placed in an exquisite location
and fully equipped. This is where players’ presentation or press
conferences take place, since these premises include a proper
room for these purposes.

adidas and the
legendary Red
Store!
From the summer of 2015 onwards, Olympiacos turned a new leaf
and started afresh in sportswear! Olympiacos left Puma behind and
initiated their collaboration with adidas, the international sports giant, a company that provides the clothing for the Legend as well the
greatest European and international football clubs! The collaboration
was sealed with the announcement of a wonderful and, at the same
time, apt slogan: Two legends meet! And it’s indeed true! With adidas
by our side, Olympiacos are ready to prove that nothing is impossible!
The unveiling of the new red-and-white shirt was majestic and at the
same time original! The new Olympiacos shirt, with the motto “There
is no Legend without a Shirt”, was unveiled to the audience and the
media on a sail boat in the sea! It was in Piraeus, where the heart of
Olympiacos always beats, where the new honoured and striped redand-white jersey was unveiled. The jersey was greeted with very
positive comments and many sales, as the fans of Olympiacos quickly
lined up to secure not only the red-and-white kit, but also the away
blue kit and the third all-red kit! This is of course an anniversary jersey which on the one hand initiates the new era and at the same time
commemorates the history of Olympiacos so far, featuring the 90-year
anniversary logo on the sleeve! This makes it even more special!
Naturally, every top club must have an equally top store. The official store of Olympiacos sells anything “red-and-white” and of

Olympiacos and is now fully adidas-equipped!
Red Store, the official store of Olympiacos FC, is located at G.
Karaiskakis Stadium, it is 800 sq. m. wide and it goes without saying that every fan pays it a visit just before home games to get in
the mood. And there’s much more of that, of course. One may walk
into the club’s store and buy merchandise for themselves or loved
ones, or just for pulling some legs of friends supporting other clubs;
and what an abundance of gifts one may find in there! There is also
another store at Monastiraki, which recently opened its doors and
caters to club supporters who may not pop into the stadium at any
given moment!
Inside the Red Store, one may find the club’s original shirts and print
their favourite player’s name or their own! But that’s not all… Uniforms, jerseys, jackets, t-shirts, shorts, shoes…etc. Red Store has
everything there is about Olympiacos! In addition, fans may also
shop online by visiting the store’s website at www.redstore.gr!
Inside the Red Store, which is totally transformed and is now
dressed in adidas, fans may of course also find an adidas corner.
There, the fans of the Legend can shop items not related to their
favourite club, such as sports equipment, shoes as well as more
casual outfits!

THE NEW
RENTIS TRAINING
CENTRE
Olympiacos’ headquarters, the place where the squad spends
many hours of hard work daily, is the new, state-of-the-art training centre in Agios Ioannis Rentis. Our impressive facilities, owned
by Olympiacos since 2004 and restored again this year, house both
our Men’s football team and the Academy of Olympiacos!
This is where the Legend
is daily “built”!
The Training Centre contains four, full-sized pitches, three with
natural grass and one with artificial turf. All pitches meet FIFA’s
specifications. They are all equipped with a drainage system,
floodlights and a 3,000-strong stand in one of them. There are
also two smaller artificial turf pitches covering the needs of the
divisions of the Olympiacos football Academy.
The guestroom is located in one of the buildings inside the
Olympiacos training ground and is fully refurbished. It has a
comfortable lounge for the players to relax and also provides
many entertainment possibilities, such as an Internet corner,
video game consoles, pool tables, television sets, music, etc.
Besides the fully-refurbished lounge, the restaurant was also
refurbished, acquiring a new and modern look making it even
more hospitable to the players. The guestroom of course has
rooms that can be used by the players before the matches. The
premises include 18 double and 2 single rooms, offering all
amenities and Internet access.

The second building of our training ground hosts locker
rooms, which were renovated during the 2013/14 season! The
locker rooms became more cultivated, comfortable and spacious, always in the red-and-white colours! If needed, up to 2
squads may be accommodated, whereas coaching and medical staff offices are right by their side, as well as clothing and
football gear rooms. The building’s first floor houses offices
for the training ground’s officials and the heads of our club’s
Academy.
Finally, we must point out that the Rentis Training Centre
also houses the Football Academy of Olympiacos. The Academy has, at its disposal, a separate building containing locker
rooms, a gym, offices and four pitches in total. There are two
full-sized pitches, one with natural grass and one with artificial turf, as well as two smaller pitches with artificial turf.
At the same time, football players have access to a state-ofthe-art gym, which is fully decorated with murals depicting
the Legend’s greatest moments, magnificent tifos by the
fans of Olympiacos and in general carrying the full Olympiacos feeling. The training ground is also fully equipped with
a treatment room, physio-room, sauna, hydro massage and
pool facilities. Apart from these, there is also a fully equipped
conference room for seminars and press conferences.

Leone is always
there!
Leone is Thrileon’s natural
evolvement, the new
generation, sort of… a son
to him.
This year’s football season will also stand out for one more reason. Olympiacos football team will be joined once again by its
legendary own mascot, the famous Leone!
Leone has linked his name with the Legend of Greek Football,
since he debuted in our side’s friendly against Anderlecht in G.
Karaiskakis Stadium, on August 7, 2013. On that day, our team’s
brand new shirt was also presented, featuring for the first time
all 4 stars sewed on it; and Leone was there too.
Olympiacos FC’s new mascot is in no way going to set aside our
beloved and most popular Thrileon! On the contrary, Leone is
Thrileon’s natural evolvement, the new generation, kind of
…a son to him.
His presentation took place during the 2013 summer camps
2013; our lion mascot is named after the legendary Porto
Leone and children were quick to adore him once they met
him! So, he will always attend all our side’s home matches,
or “red-and-white” events hosted in the Red Store! And the
Legend’s mascot could wear no other shirt but the one with
number 7 printed on it!

Olympiacos S.F.P.
OLYMPIACOS SFP was founded on March 10, 1925. It is one of the
largest multi-sport clubs in Greece and one of the biggest in the
world. OLYMPIACOS SPF is successfully active in the following disciplines: men’s volleyball, women’s volleyball, men’s water polo,
women’s water polo, women’s basketball, swimming, track and
field, boxing, kick boxing, tae kwon do, sailing, table tennis, rowing, wrestling, canoeing and kayaking, tennis, and fencing.
This very club that gave birth to the Olympiacos football and basketball teams, with their own individual and illustrious record
both domestically and in Europe, is intrinsically linked to being a
champion! OLYMPIACOS is the birthplace of Champions and represents the backbone of our national teams in all sports. The club
lines up Olympic medal winners, world and European champions
who are second to none in promoting the club’s image in all four
corners of the world.
OLYMPIACOS runs academies for all disciplines it covers in which
thousands of children learn every sport’s secrets from the best. In
our club, progress in purely athletic terms matters as much as our
athletes’ behaviour in their society and school. OLYMPIACOS builds
the champions of tomorrow and good citizens for our society. This
is why every year we present and honour all children in our academies who excelled at school.
Our club is the first in Greece to have built a massive membership program, aiming at involving supporters in developments in
sports. Currently, OLYMPIACOS is the most massive club in Greece,
