Welcome to the Prairie Landing Golf Club and the 2016
College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW)
Men’s Golf Championship.
With the help and support of our fans, member
institutions, administrators, coaches and studentathletes, the CCIW enters the 2015-16 academic year
as its 70th season of competition, 30th for women’s
sports.
The conference is coming off another successful year
in 2014-15 with over 1,500 academic all-conference
recipients, 19 College Sports Information Directors of
America (CoSIDA) Academic All-Americans, 46 CoSIDA
Academic All-District recipients and 102 all-Americans.
The CCIW, recognized as one of the “Best SmallCollege Conferences in the Nation,” has seen its share
of success throughout its time, with 47 NCAA Division
III National Championships in 11 different sports won
by the membership.
Since the 1991-92 academic year the CCIW
has remained consistent in its membership with
eight academically superior institutions, including
Augustana, Carthage, Elmhurst, Illinois Wesleyan,
Millikin, North Central, North Park and Wheaton.
Former CCIW member Carroll University, located in
Waukesha, Wisconsin, will return to the conference in
2016-17 and joined as an associate member for men’s
and women’s lacrosse in 2014-15.

CCIW Sportsmanship Statement
The Colleges and Universities of the College Conference
of Illinois and Wisconsin believe that good sportsmanship
is an integral component of intercollegiate competition.
The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin
wholeheartedly embraces the NCAA position that in order
for good sportsmanship to prevail, coaches, studentathletes and fans must display respect, fairness, civility,
honesty and responsibility before, during and after all
athletic contests.
The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin
encourages fans to enthusiastically support their team,
recognize the outstanding performance of opponents
and always exhibit good sportsmanship in their words
and actions.
All Conference tournament and championship
operational policies are managed by the CCIW
office in accordance with adopted conference and
NCAA standards and protocols.
In 2007, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, located in Terre Haute, Ind., joined the CCIW as an associate
member for men’s and women’s swimming, while in 2014, the University of Dubuque, located in Dubuque,
Iowa, joined the CCIW as an associate member for men’s and women’s lacrosse.
The CCIW, which sponsors 23 sports, has carried a long tradition of excellence dating back to its inception in
1946, helping student-athletes grow in their athletic as well as educational experience. The CCIW looks to
continue that tradition and remains dedicated to helping our student-athletes towards success.
On behalf of the CCIW and its member schools, we would like to thank you for your support and hope you
enjoy your experience at all CCIW events.
Sincerely,
Chris Martin

Championship Spectator Rules
As per NCAA regulations, there are some guidelines that must be followed by all golf spectators.
Please do not jeopardize a player by ignoring these guidelines. The penalty is two strokes if a violation
occurs.
• Spectators should remain on the cart paths or in the rough and approximately 15 yards from the
players. No communication between players and spectators that could be deemed advice is allowed
during play.
• Please do not walk on the fairway behind a group of players, since you might interfere with a trailing
group.
• Please do not offer any advice concerning rules.
• Spectators may help look for lost golf balls.
• NO CELL PHONE USE IS ALLOWED ON THE GOLF COURSE. Spectators using cell phones on the
course will be asked to leave the facility.
Remember, your “job” is to cheer and support the school and the players of your choice. Thank you for
your cooperation.

CCIW Mission Statement
The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin
exists to serve a select group of private colleges
and universities of similar size and heritage, which
share a deep commitment to superior undergraduate
education and a common perspective on the
role of intercollegiate athletics in that education.
The conference supports the following principles
that distinguish the CCIW and its approach to
intercollegiate athletics:
* Student-focused approach - CCIW schools place
the highest priority on the overall educational
experience of the individual student. Athletics are
viewed as an important element of a well-rounded
education. Student-athletes are integrated into the
mainstream of the entire student body, receive no
special privileges and are encouraged to participate in
other campus groups and activities. The conference
supports the active recruitment of student-athletes
as a means of achieving the educational aims of
each member institution.
* Broad based athletics programs - The CCIW
program is wide-ranging in scope, with meaningful
competition and championships offered in numerous
sports. Each member institution offers a broad
based program of intercollegiate sports and seeks
widespread student participation in that program.
* Fairness and equity - CCIW schools are sensitive
and responsive to the needs and interests of both
male and female athletes, and are governed by
principles of fairness and equity in its approach to
funding, staffing and overall support for all sports.
Each member institution is expected to fully comply
with all NCAA, CCIW and institutional rules and
regulations in the operation of its athletics program.
* Overall excellence and national stature of the
conference - The CCIW seeks to continually develop
and strengthen itself with the goal of recognition of
the premier NCAA Division III athletic conference.
The CCIW seeks to promote keen competition, the
highest level of sportsmanship and the strongest
performance possible in each sport. Regular
participation by member institutions in NCAA
regional and national competition is an ongoing
conference goal.
