This stark realisation led us to introduce our Vari-Layer™ system into the Horseware range for
AW12. Now we’re including it in our Rambo range. Layering of compression resistant fibre
to targeted areas can increase thermal values by 30% and reduce weight by 20%. fibre to

Vari-LayerTM increases fibre coverage across the back and hips to decrease heat loss. This
layering of fibre allows the rug to wrap more closely around the horse, trapping heat with
less weight in the overall rug. The effect of gravity compression on the rug fill is lessened and
your rug stays fuller for longer.

1. TOUGHNESS ON THE OUTSIDE
The tough polypropylene outer shell is 50 to 100% stronger
than the coated polyester used in the majority of turnouts so
you have a rug that is light but strong.
2. WATERPROOF BARRIER TECHNOLOGY IN THE MIDDLE
The AquaTrans™ coating is applied to the barrier layer. Even
if the outer fabric is damaged the inner waterproof and
breathable barrier remains intact.
3. COMFORT ON THE INSIDE
Underneath the barrier fabric is the insulation, a thermobonded
fibre fill which will trap warm air around your horse to keep
him warm.

Ice-Vibe boots combine the effects of cooling and massage therapy to effectively treat strains, ligament and tendon damage.
The boots can be used with and without cold packs to reduce swelling and stimulate blood flow. Use with vibration pads only
to prepare for exercise. Increasing blood flow to the tendons and ligaments makes them more elastic and can help reduce the
risk of injury. Cooling slows down blood flow to prevent swelling, while the massage effect encourages lymph to move, draining
inflammation and stimulating repair to damaged tissue. The vibration mimics the effect of a horse walking quietly in the field,

This unique bridle has been designed to comfortably fit
the shape of the horses skull, avoiding pressure on the
following areas:
- Facial nerves, projecting cheek bones and the upper jaw
molar teeth.
- Sensitive tissue lining on the inside of the cheeks, which
is a common pressure point with traditional bridles or
bitless bridles.
- Lower back strap avoids pressure being exerted on
fragile nosebones.
- When using the bit clip option it also protects the bars of
the mouth. Great solution for horses that may resist the
bit/ bridle dueto pain, excessive tongue pressure, damage

HORSEWARE® LINER SYSTEM
The Horseware liner can be attached to most of our rugs. A Velcro loop attachment around the neck
area and clips on the back corner of the outer rug prevent the liner from slipping. A simple system, it
gives your rug superior insulation properties without the need for two separate rug and can be easily
washed at home in a domestic washing machine.
The fit of your rug is extremely important in order to ensure the comfort of your horse and to prevent rubbing
and slippage of the rug. As horses of the same height at the wither come in a variety of shapes and sizes, it is
useful to take certain measurements of your horse.

Belly surcingles should be adjusted to allow a hands width between straps and belly.
Keep in mind that the neck on the Rambo® Wug is a higher fit, therefore the neck and chest area will be a snugger fit.
The trigger clips on the patented ‘V’ Front Closure System should always be closed with the clasp facing inwards.
Your hand should fit comfortably between the neck and shoulder areas and the rug. If not, the blanket could cause
discomfort and rubbing.
If the rug extends beyond the top of the tail, the rug may be too big. If the rug does not reach the top of the tail, the rug
may be too small. However, examine the neck and shoulder area for fit before making a decision to go for a different size.
Make sure that the tail is lifted over the fillet strap and that the strap is securely attached on both sides. This will prevent
the rug from blowing forward. Where possible pull the tail through the strapping on the inside of the tail flap.
Horseware® use standard 2 and 3 cross surcingles on all our rugs except for our coolers and the following products that
use 3 straight surcingles - Rambo® Optimo, Amigo® Bug Buster, Rambo® Fly Buster, Rambo® Sweetitch Hoody.

When closing the surcingles on a rug secure the middle one 1st and then cross over the 2 outer surcingles.
