Stafford led the active members of the
Indiana State men’s cross country to a 2433 victory over the ISU Alums. Freshmen
Aaron Harding and Seth Aydt finished in
fifth and ninth place, respectively in their
ISU debuts. “It was a tough day to race
and the course was tougher than usual
because of the high grass but this race is
always tough,” said McNichols.

Summary:
The 2001 season began with a third-place
finish at the Bradley Invitational.
McNichols explained that the fourth-place
and 12th-place performances by Isaiah
Stafford and Kevin Stengel were their best
races to date as a Sycamore runner.
Overcoming 90-degree heat and humidity,
McNichols felt, “I thought we competed
fairly well. This race showed me a lot of
promise in our young guys as they ran
together for most of the race.”

Summary:
Junior Isaiah Stafford continued to
perform at a high level for the Sycamores
en route to a third-place finish, second
among the large-school division to pace
Indiana State to a third-place team finish.
His efforts earned him MVC Athlete of
the Week honors for the second-straight
week. “Our 3-8 gap is :30, this is great
except we are just too far back,” said
McNichols. “The key to our successes this
season will be to move our three through
eight closer to Stafford and Rode.”

INDIANA STATE CROSS COUNTRY
INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY: HOST
Prior to coming to Indiana State, he was an assistant
track coach and women’s cross country coach at Western Michigan University from 1982 until 1988. Western
Michigan cross country teams won Mid-American
Conference titles in 1984, 1985 and 1986. Gartland
coached Kayla Skelly who was an All-American in
cross country in 1985 and who won 11 individual MAC
titles. He also coached Caroline Mullen, who finished
third in the 1986 NCAA Cross Country Meet behind
future Olympians Angela Chalmers and Suzy Favor.
Gartland guided Mullen to a 15:56.30 best in the 5,000
meters. Under Gartland’s guidance, Mullen finished
69th in the 1987 World Cross Country Championships
competing for her native Ireland. During his six years
at Western Michigan, Gartland also guided Maggie
Lillie to berths in the 1984 Olympic Trials and the 1987
Olympic Festival in North Carolina.
From 1980 until 1982, Gartland served as a graduate
assistant track coach at Indiana University under Sam
Bell. Under his direction, the Hoosiers were sixth in the
Big Ten and second in the NCAA Regional Meet. Two
of the Hoosiers advanced on to the NCAA Meet in
1981.
Gartland’s coaching roots originate in the state of
Wisconsin. He worked as a part-time assistant at the
University of Wisconsin during the 1979-80 school year
and was the head boy’s track coach at Madison West
High School from 1978 until 1980.
He has not only had standout performers in distance
events; Gartland has been integral to the development
of many successful ISU high jumpers. One of his most
prominent jumpers is former Sycamore Steve Smith.
While at ISU, Smith went on to finish second in the
NCAA Meet twice and second in the USA Championships. He also went on to participate at the Olympic
Trials in 1992, 1996 and 2002. Smith won a silver medal
at the Pan-American Games in 1995; he placed seventh
in the 1995 Indoor World Championships in Barcelona,
Spain. He also coached another Sycamore - Steve Parker
- to a pair of All-American finishes. His third AllAmerican high jumper - Melissa Dyal - completed her
eligibility at ISU in 2000 with a personal-best performance of 5-10 3/4. He coached five other MVC champions and five other men who have all cleared the sevenfoot plateau.
Gartland is a native of Madison, Wisc. He received
a Bachelor‘s Degree from the University of WisconsinLaCrosse in 1970 with a double major in English and
physical education. Gartland was a sprinter at UW-L,
where he ran on the school record 4 x 100 relay team.
He attended graduate school at Indiana University from
1980 until 1982, when he received a Master‘s Degree
in physical education.
Staff
Since arriving at Indiana State in
1988, John Gartland has built a
name for Indiana State women’s
cross country and track and field
program that defines success.
The veteran head coach has led Indiana State to a pair of
Missouri Valley Conference cross country (1991-1993), four
indoor track and field (1993-1994-1995) and six outdoor
track and field (1991-1992-1993-1994-1998-1999) titles. In
addition to his 12 conference titles, Gartland’s women’s track
and field teams have finished in the top ten in the NCAA
Meet three times: (1993 - indoor / t-5th), (1994 - indoor /
9th) and (1994 - outdoor / t-6th).
In addition to his responsibilities of the overall direction
of the entire women’s program, he also directs the coaching
of the women’s middle distance runners, the women’s distance runners and the men’s and women’s high jumpers in
ISU’s combined track and field programs.
In his 14 seasons, ISU’s women’s teams have won conference titles twice, finished as runners-up three times, and
placed third five times. During his tenure, he has coached
three individual conference champions and 18 all-conference
runners. Additionally, he has coached the lone two-time
NCAA participant in ISU women’s cross country history Debbi Ramseyer in 1992 and in 1993. Another one of
Gartland’s runners Angie Menser won the same honor in
1996. Gartland has coached nine all-Regional runners since
1990, most recently Jessica Crowder in 2001.
Aside from coaching, he was elected and served as the
NCAA Cross Country District V representative from 1993
through 1995. He continues to be a member of the U.S. Track
Coaches Association. His cross country teams have been
named a Division I All-Academic Team for seven-straight
years.
During the 1999 track and field season, he was honored
by being selected as the women’s referee at the prestigious
Drake Relays. Gartland has been very active in USA Track
and Field’s Coaching Education. He is a member of Indiana
USA Track and Field’s Board of Directors; he is specifically
in charge of Coaching Education in the state of Indiana.
Gartland has received the following coaching certifications
by USA Track and Field: Level I, Level II (Endurance and
Combined Events), and Level I Lead Instructor. He has also
attended several Level III seminars.
In both indoor and outdoor track conference meets, Indiana State distance runners have dominated for the past 14
years. Ramseyer leads the group of individual champions as
she won nine titles in track (in addition to two more in cross
country). He has also coached eight-other individual conference distance champions, including All-American Angie
Martin, who now currently serves as an assistant on the ISU
coaching staff. Also, he coached Kyle Hobbs to the men’s
MVC mile title in 1989.

INDIANA STATE CROSS COUNTRY
2002 OUTLOOK
Under the direction of veteran head coach John
Gartland for the last 14 years, the Indiana State
women’s cross country team has defined success. The
Sycamores will look to add to the successful ledger
in 2002. Gartland has led the Sycamores to two conference titles, and in ten of those fourteen years, ISU
teams have finished in the top three of the Missouri
Valley Conference.
“I have high goals for this year’s team. We will
have an interesting mix of veterans and newcomers.
If we can overcome our injury problems from last
spring, we have a chance to contend for a conference
title and move up significantly in the regional meet,”
says Gartland.
Despite the quality and quanity of ISU’s losses, a
number of key veterans return to lead a very talented
group of newcomers.
“I expect the competition for the top five spots to
be very keen. I expect surprises to happen from the
first day of practice as our newcomers arrive with the
ability to push the veterans, and our returnees will
fight hard to keep their positions. I expect that we
will have a competitive situation at every practice
and every meet,” explains Gartland.
The top returnee for the Sycamores is junior Jessica Crowder. Crowder finished as ISU’s number
one runner in all seven meets in 2001. She is a legitimate contender for an individual MVC title after
a serious challenge in 2001 where she eventually
finished 5th, running 18:09 for 5,000 meters. She
culminated a great cross country season by finishing
23rd in a very tough NCAA Great Lakes Regional,
running a school record 21:47 for 6,000 meteres and
becoming ISU’s first all-region performer since
Angie Menser in 1996. She missed the indoor and
outdoor track and field season due to injury, but she
should be ready to come back strong in cross country.
There are many other talented runners joining
Crowder and the Sycamores quest for a MVC title.
Included in the mix is junior Jacki Michaud, a
former six-time state champion in Wisconsin, who
finished 16th in the MVC meet in 18:37, and ran a
very respectable 72nd place in the NCAA Great
Lakes Regional Meet in 22:48. Amber Bucci, a junior who ran at Hamilton Southeastern, also returns for
the Sycamores in 2002. Although slowed by injuries
in 2001, Bucci still finished in the top five for ISU
in the MVC Meet and the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Meet. She is a former indoor conference runner-up in the 5,000 meter-run. Carolyn Chase, a
junior academically, is another top returnee for Indiana State. Although slowed by injuries last year,
Chase is a very talented athlete who finished second
at the inaugural 3,000-meter steeplechase in 2001.
Crowder, Michaud, Bucci and Chase all missed all or
part of the 2001-2002 campaign due to injury, their
ability to come back and be strong again will impact
the team greatly in 2002.
Also returning to the fold in 2002 are Ashley
Taflinger, Carol Linneweber and Moira Leahy.
Taflinger, who will be a freshman in eligibility in
cross country, had an outstanding track year for the
INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY: HOST
OF THE
Sycamores in 2002. She finished fifth in the MVC
outdoor meet in the 800 and ran a season-best of
2:14.58. Carol Linneweber was a consistent runner
throughout her first year, finishing her first season
as ISU’s sixth runner which carried over to a strong
track season for the Linton, Ind. native. Moira
Leahy also returns for her junior year for the Sycamores. The Michigan City, Ind. product has been
in the top five for ISU in both of her two previous
seasons.
More than half of the team will be newcomers,
and many of those athletes will make an immediate
impact on the structure of the team. Malia Detrich,
who attended the same high school as Leahy,
brings great credentials to the team. She finished
31st in the 2001 state meet and 21st in the Mideast
All-Star Race in Dayton, Ohio, covering 5,000
meters in 18:51. Other promising newcomers are
Carolyn Magley, Margaret Reyling and Sarah
Jarvis. Magley has great range from the 800 to the
4,000-meter cross country distance. Reyling finished eighth in the 800-meter run at the 2002 Indiana state meet in 2:17.99 and has also run 14:52
in cross country. Jarvis was a top runner for North
Central High School for the past two years. She
finished 48th at the 2001 state meet. Also contending for a spot in the top five for the Sycamores are
Jenel Darland, Jordan Hartmann, Tiffany Scott
and Amy Caldwell. Darland culminated by a great
track year by running 5:09.52 at the regional meet
in May. She also has a cross country best of 14:56.
Hartmann, a sophomore in eligibility who transferred to ISU from Bowling Green, brings outstanding credentials to the team. She has run
10:10.88 on the track for 3,000 and has cross
country bests of 18:51 (5k) and 22:47 (6k). Also,
she was part of some outstanding teams at Rockford High School in Michigan. Scott is a freshman
from Rushville, who has bests of 5:20 for 1,600
and 15:30 for cross country. Caldwell, a freshman
from Georgetown, Ky., has run 2:26 for 800 and
also claims a 5,000 cross country best of 18:33.
The Sycamore cross country programs will be
hosting some of the nation’s top meets in 2002.
Gartland thinks the caliber of teams competing will
bring out the best in his team, “we will have some
of the best teams in the nation here on both October
5th (Indiana State Invitational) and October 19th
(Pre-NCAA). For us to compete well, we will have
to step up. The caliber of competition will force us
to get better. I think the team looks forward to this
challenge. We will also host the MVC Meet on
November 2nd and I hope this will give us a homecourse advantage over our MVC rivals.”

Summary:
Sophomore Jessica Crowder finished 11th
overall in the 2001 cross country season
opener as the Sycamores comppeted in
the Bradley Invitational, held at Detweiller
Park in Peoria, Ill. The 11th place finish
by Crowder was a big positive, according
to Gartland. “Jessica set a new personal
best on a very hot, humid day. She looked
very much under control the entire race
and then had a lot left at the end. It was
also a good start to the career of freshman
Carol Linneweber.” The Linton, Ind. native

approximately 120 meters short.
Summary:
The Indiana State women’s cross country
team enjoyed a third-place finish in the
14-team field at the Indiana
Intercollegiates. The third-place finish is
the highest by an ISU women’s team since
the Sycamores took second in 1998. “We
raced much better in the middle of the race
than we did at Bradley,” ISU women’s
head coach John Gartland said.
Sophomore Jessica Crowder finished fifth
overall earning MVC Female Athlete of

Sophomore Jessica Crowder was the top
Sycamore finisher for the Sycamores,
placing 19th in a time of 22:27 in the first
6k race by ISU in 2001. “Again, Jessica
took advantage of great runners in front,
stayed close to them, and then shattered
our three-meet old school record,” said ISU
women’s coach John Gartland. Crowder
was followed by Jeri Meyerholtz (40th
place, 23:15), Alyssa Pittman (49th place,
23:31), Amber Bucci (61st place, 23:51)
and Carol Linneweber (94th place, 24:36).

long.
For the second week in a row, Indiana State
took home the team title, this time at the
Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational. “I was
really pleased with the efforts of our first
five runners. They all ran well and we
looked like a good team,” head coach John
Gartland said. Turning in her best
performance of the season for the
Sycamore women was sophomore Amber
Bucci. She crossed the line in 19:15, six
seconds off a personal best, to finish 11th
overall. Sophomore Jessica Crowder was
the fifth collegiate and second Division I
runner to cross the line. She turned in a
fast time of 18:47, despite the adverse
conditions.
Summary:
The Sycamores came away with the team
title, the first time a Sycamore squad has
won an invitational since they won the ISU
Invitational in 1999. “This was our best
meet of the year and our top six runners
ran well as a group,” head coach John
Gartland said. Sophomore Jessica
Crowder and seniors Alyssa Pittman and
Jeri Meyerholtz all finished in the top ten
pacing the Sycamores effort.

Summary:
For the second year in a row, the Sycamores came away with
a third-place finish at the MVC Championships. In nine of
the last 12 championships, the Sycamores have finished third
or higher, including team titles in 1991 and in 1993.
Sophomore Jessica Crowder became only the fifth runner in
ISU history to earn all-conference honors on two or more
occasions. Crowder improved on her tenth-place finish as a
freshman to finish fifth in a time of 18:09, a 30-second
improvement, as well. “I was pleased that we had enough
pride as a team to turn the season around from our early season
disasters. Except for SMS, we had seven runners finish in
front of every other team’s fifth runner,” noted head coach
John Gartland.
“Jessica ran a great race; our two thru four runners all had
positive races, but we did not have the overall depth we needed
to get into the top ten,” said Gartland. Sophomore Jessica
Crowder earned all-region honors for her 23rd-place finish. “Jess
ran very, very tough up front,” Gartland said. “She’s making
good progress to become an elite runner.” Seniors Jeri
Meyerholtz and Alyssa Pittman closed out their ISU careers with
73rd and 89th-place finishes, respectively. The ISU women
finished 14th out of 30 teams competing at the NCAA Division
I Great Lakes Regional hosted by Indiana State University at
the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center.

OF THE
The Valley student-athletes and coaches have become
household names during the league's illustrious history,
both during their collegiate careers and, for some, professional careers.
The Valley, which has a storied past, began honoring
that tradition in the summer of 1997, when the Conference
began its athletics Hall of Fame.
Hersey Hawkins of
Bradley, Larry Bird of Indiana State, Wes Unseld of
Louisville, Coach Henry Iba
of Oklahoma State, Dave
Stallworth of Wichita State,
Ed Macauley of Saint Louis
and Oscar Robertson of Cincinnati were members of the
initial induction class.
A total of 25 former
players, coaches and alums
dot the league’s Hall of
Fame.
The inclusion of
women's programs under the Valley banner -- the nation's
second-oldest collegiate athletic conference -- has provided an immediate boost. The Gateway Collegiate
Athletic Conference -- which began in 1982 -- merged
with the Missouri Valley Conference and was unveiled as
part of the new conference on July 1, 1992.
The 2001-02 academic year was, arguably, one of The
Valley’s greatest, as the league received a total of four atlarge bids to NCAA championships -- one each in men’s
soccer, men’s and women's basketball and baseball -- and
sent four teams -- men’s soccer, women’s volleyball,
men’s basketball and women’s basketball -- to the round
of “Sweet Sixteen” in their respective NCAA championships.
In men’s soccer, Southern Methodist and Creighton
represented The Valley in the NCAA Tournament, with
SMU -- which ranked first nationally in the NSCAA/
Adidas poll for most of the season before finishing fifth -advancing to the quarterfinals before concluding with a
21-1 record.
In fall of 1997, Creighton's Johnny Torres was named
the collegiate male soccer player of the year for a secondstraight year.
From its early beginning to its current standing on the
map of college athletics, The Valley will always continue
to be pro-active in its approach.
League members include Bradley University,
Creighton University, Drake University, University of
Evansville, Illinois State University, Indiana State University, University of Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois
University, Southwest Missouri State University and
Wichita State University. Affiliate members include
Drury University (women's soccer) and Eastern Illinois,
SMU, Tulsa, Vanderbilt and Western Kentucky (men's
soccer).
2002 MVC CHAMPIONSHIPS • 2002 NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
INDIANA STATE CROSS COUNTRY
The new millennium brings challenges for college sports
programs, but the Missouri Valley Conference continues to lead
by example as one of college athletics' most progressive conferences. Now in its 96th year of existence, the Missouri Valley
Conference emphasizes the importance of the student-athlete and
is aggressive in its approach to provide opportunities for its
member institutions.
Since its inception in 1907,
the Missouri Valley Conference
has been regarded as a leader by
its peers among today's collegiate athletic conferences.
Based in St. Louis since
1985, the Conference has been
assertive in its approach to playing host to NCAA basketball
championship events, producing a revenue-generating inhouse television network, bidding out the right to play host to
several sport championships and
landing title sponsorships for
those events.
Under the direction of J. Douglas Elgin, the ninth commissioner in Valley history, Starting in 1995-96, the Conference
broke new ground by bidding out the right to play host to its
volleyball, women's basketball, softball and baseball championships. By establishing uniform host criteria, the Conference is
able to assist a host institution in a season-long promotional
campaign and provide an avenue where hosts can acquire a title
sponsor and achieve a profit for the event.
Continuing in 2002, the Conference’s women’s and men’s
soccer championships will be held at a neutral site -- SportPort in
St. Louis, Mo. -- for the third-straight year, with Iron Kids Bread
-- a division of the Sara Lee Bakery Group -- serving as the title
sponsor for both events.
The seeds for this vision were planted by eight administrators
representing five institutions, who gathered at the Midland Hotel
in Kansas City, Mo., on Jan. 12, 1907. The five schools which
formed the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association
were Washington University of St. Louis, and the state universities of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. Two months after
the initial meeting, two more schools -- Drake University and
Iowa State College -- were admitted.
In the fall of 1907, basketball became the first competitive
sport. Today, the Missouri Valley Conference sponsors the
following sports: baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's
and women's cross country and track (indoor and outdoor), men's
and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and
women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis and
women's volleyball.
This season, the league will conduct its 92nd outdoor track
and field championship, its 85th tennis championship, its 49th
baseball tournament and its 65th golf championship for the men.
Those programs, plus other current sponsored sports of cross
country (44 years), indoor track (36), soccer (12) and swimming
and diving (9), have helped solidify the Missouri Valley Conference as one of the most respected conferences nationally.

ACADEMICS
The Academic Support Program for Athletics, headed by Coordinator of the Athletic Study Center Henry Villegas
and assistant coordinator Beth Flach, is based upon the belief that the STUDENT in Student-Athlete comes first, and
for that reason we have developed a program that insures every student-athlete the best possible opportunity for
personal success. The Academic Support Services Program for Athletics provides academic support for all male and
female, scholarship and walk-on participants on all 15 Intercollegiate Athletic teams, approximately 350 students per
year. The goals of the program are as follows:
GOALS
• To enhance the academic performance of student athletes.
• To help student athletes make normal progress toward graduation.
• To assist freshmen student athletes in making a successful transition to college life.
• To assist student-athletes in managing the demands of participating in Intercollegiate Athletics.
• To provide student athletes with the means to assume responsibility for their education.
• To help student-athletes bridge the gap from college life to professional life through the Life Skills
program.

ATHLETIC MEDICINE
Three athletic training rooms, located in the Health & Human Performance Building, the Hulman Center and at
Memorial Stadium, are all equipped with the latest therapeutic and rehabilitative equipment. This allows all treatment
and rehabilitation for the most minor to significant injury to take place right on campus.
The athletics medicine staff is comprised of five certified staff athletic trainers—Paul Plummer, Kristen Kauffman,
Lori Vancza, Troy Hershman and Scott Keller —plus a team of nearly thirty graduate athletic trainers and undergraduate
athletic training students. The athletic medicine staff is directed by three sports medicine trained team physicians—
Dr. Tom Klootwyk, orthopaedist of the Methodist Sports Medicine Center; and Dr.’s John and James Welch, primary
care physicians from the AP&S Northside Family Medicine Clinic. Together, our athletic trainers and physicians offer
the latest methods and technology in the care of athletic injury and illness. At their access is a network of medical
specialists and consultants that round out a comprehensive sports medical system.
The team of medical professionals caring for Sycamore intercollegiate athletes is contemporary in its methods and
is constantly seeking continuing education in an effort to remain on the cutting edge of sports medicine.

INDIANA STATE CROSS COUNTRY
Hulman Memorial Student Union
Indiana State University, home of the Sycamores,
is located in the heart of Mid-America, Terre Haute,
IN, a thriving community with a population of 60,000.
Founded in 1865 as a training school for teachers,
ISU enrolled its first 21 students in 1870. Today —
three name changes later — the University offers its
11,000 students more than 160 degree programs
through the College of Arts and Sciences and the
Schools of Business; Education; Technology; Graduate
Studies; Nursing: and Health and Human Performance.
Degrees are awarded at associate, baccalaureate,
master’s, educational specialist and doctoral levels.
In addition, ISU offers a variety of non-credit
courses, cultural and recreational opportunities, and
diversified workshops, seminars and conferences.
Characterized by small class sizes, Indiana State
has a faculty and staff committed to a personal approach to higher education. Nine out of 10 classes are
taught by full-time professors.
ISU’s 70,000 alumni occupy positions of leadership
in education, business, industry, government and public service.
More than 60 buildings, plazas and walkways comprise the main campus on 90 acres adjacent to the Terre
Haute business district. In addition, the University
maintains family housing units on a 15-acre site one
mile south of the main campus and a 12,764-seat football and athletic facility two miles to the east. The 35acre river campus located along the Wabash is the site
of the University’s outstanding baseball program.
The campus is continually changing, with two facilities — the Music Rehearsal Hall and the Technology Center — completed within the last year. The
music building features a rotunda lobby with a 175seat recital hall, rehearsal rooms, teaching studios and
an art gallery. The technology structure, with 35 stateof-the-art laboratories and a 100-seat multimedia
room, has a sky lit, three-story atrium as its major
design feature.
Cunningham Memorial Library houses more than 2
million books, periodicals, documents and audiovisual
and microfilm items; it also is a government depository
containing more than 100,000 government documents.
The Rare Books and Special Collections section
houses the Eugene V. Debs papers, early Indiana textbooks and one of the largest early dictionary collections in the world. An interlibrary loan service and
several database searching units also are available.
INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY: HOST
OF THE
Hulman Center, completed in 1973, probably is best
known as the arena in which basketball star Larry Bird played
in during his college career. Its versatility also provides an
ideal location for conferences, conventions, concerts, banquets, stage shows and other services.
Hulman Memorial Student Union became the hub of campus upon its completion in 1991. Students gather by the
attractive outdoor plaza and its circular fountain. The soothing
sounds of cascading water set the tone for the activity that
takes place in the renovated nine-story building.
Within its walls, the Dede Activity Center provides meeting space as well as recreational and fitness opportunities,
while a variety of retail services and food is available in The
Commons, from favorite fast-food franchises and sit-down
restaurant to a bookstore, bank and convenience store.
For more than a century and a quarter, Indiana State has
played an important role in Indiana’s public service. Today,
ISU makes a number of contributions to economic development locally, regionally and nationally.
Tilson Auditorium, located in Tirey Hall, houses the Terre
Haute Symphony Orchestra and the University’s Convocation
Series, which brings touring Broadway productions and other
entertainment to campus. The former union building also has
a recital hall which features weekly concerts by University
faculty and students.
The New Theater offers a modern “in-the-round” setting
for year-round dramatic presentations. ISU’s successful SummerStage program has provided excellent entertainment for
more than 30 years. The Dreiser Theater, located in Dreiser
Hall, provides a proscenium stage for more traditional performances.
The Technology Services Center in the School of Technology contracts with small and medium-sized manufacturing
companies to facilitate technology transfer to increase productivity and improve competitiveness. The Center for Research and Management Services in the School of Business
contracts with businesses throughout Indiana to provide targeted industry studies, applied research, consultation and
training. A Small Business Development Center is part of the
larger center.
The Interdisciplinary Center for Cell Products and Technology focuses on areas concerned directly with biotechnology, its commercialization and its social and ethical implications.
