From the 05th until the 15th of February, for the 14th time already, the new golf season was started at the most beautiful golf exhibition of Northern Germany. Enjoying great popularity also this year´s Hanse Golf has been convincing in all areas. Highly satisfied exhibitors and partners and especially many happy golfers – despite relatively warm and sunny weather and the election day on Sunday, with 17,100 visitors once again Hanse Golf has proven to be the biggest golf exhibition in the north. Saturday again turned out to be the best-visited day in the fourteen year history of the trade fair. For the first time the so-called Nord-Süd-Schlager among visitors of Hanse Golf and Golftage München took place. Special thanks go to our sponsors Srixon, Trackman and eVinci. At the nearest to the pin competition on 80 an 100 meters succeeded the visitors in Munich against Hamburg. 21,420 points to 20,400 points were the final score. Visitors of both exhibitions donated 1 Euro per hit. The proceeds from a total of 3,200 Euros were a benefit to the EAGLES Charity Golf Club e.V. As part of the Nord-Süd-Schlager Hamburg and Munich celebreties representing their cities. For Hanse Golf Gerhard Delling, Alfred Draxler, Nova Meierhenrich and Sven Strüver competed. Golftage München were represented by Carl-Uwe Steeb, Susi Erdmann, Martina Eberl-Ellis and Norbert Dobeleit. Overview of Hanse Golf Highlights Volvo Krüll Golf Arena, inter alia with tips and tricks of the Better Golf Academy by Paul Dyer Nord-Süd-Schlager – Nearest to the pin competition Three indoor driving ranges with more than 20 tees Talk with experts at the QDS Golf Talk In good old Hanse Golf tradition: project „Abschlag Schule“ with a participation of more than 200 pupils from schools in Hamburg on the first day of the exhibition Putting event for a good cause presented by Jeep / Motor Village Hamburg Numerous prize games and competitions at the exhibitors´ stands Overview of Exhibition Areas Golf Equipment All top brands presented themselves on 20 bays within the indoor driving ranges with a total area of more than 1,000 sqm. So visitors had the oppurtunity to test the novelties of the upcoming season. Participants in 2016: Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra-Puma, Golf Performance Center Hamburg, Honma, Mizuno, OnOff, Ping, Srixon, TaylorMade, Titleist, True Custom Fitting, Wilson and XXIO. Again putter producers positioned themselves around the 60 sqm putting green as well as at Hanse Golf: 4Birdie, CPM Caledonia Golf, Dreamliner Golf, Kramski Putter as well as Purestrike Putters. Who was looking for a new trolley, had spoiled for choice: GolfQuant, JuCad, Kiffe Golf Manufaktor, Infinity Golf, PG-Powergolf and TiCad. Golf Trade Service-oriented as usual, the stands of the retailers (inter alia Golf House, Castan Golf, Fairway Golfshop, Golf-zeug und Tedgolf) presented many innovations as well as numerous offers. Advice and service were a top priority here. Golf Tourism As in the years before, the visitors – fond of travelling – were looking for attractive golf hotels and courses at the exhibition stands of eleven nations. Beside popular destinations like Austria, Spain or the domestic golf landscapes, highly demanded travel destinations like Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal and Turkey were represented. Visitors could find further great golf destinations at the stands of travel businesses like golfreisen und hotels.de, Mastergolf Tours and Öger Tours.After a successful first participation in 2015, Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten together with Schoener Verreisen were again on board. Golf & Cruise was also one of the new popular travel topics. Golf Clubs/Courses and Golf Associations The booths of the regional associations of Northern Germany, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony, indicated that there are excellent regional courses too. Golf Training The latest training tips were presented by Better Golf Academy by Paul Dyer and the trainers of Golf Lounge at the Volvo Krüll Golf Arena, which was always fully occupied. Visitors whose inquisitiveness was not completely satisfied by these lectures yet could listen to the golf talks at QDS Golf Talk afterwards. The feedback was more than positive. Like every year, there were additional opportunities for training at the exhibitors´ stands and on the indoor driving range. Golf Lifestyle Besides classic golf products, Hanse Golf presented a broad choice comprising luxury cars, golf fashion, jewelry, wellness and health. This way, visitors were offered a both diversified and elegant fair event. Golf-Events Not only at the numerous stands, the audience interested in Golf was offered plenty. As in the years before, event areas and competitions provided for joy and fun. A special highlight was the Nord-Süd-Schlager, which took place for the first time. The evening before, in good old tradition, exhibitors enjoyed the Hanse Golf get-together. Once again the team of Hanse Golf together invited to an atmospheric conclusion to the fair day. Ambience and Services Year by year, Hanse Golf convinces with growth and quality. Its high-quality ambience, based on the continuous improvement in the fields of stand construction, design and decoration, distinguishes the fair. A decisive criteria for a successful fair ist the exhibitors´ and visitors´ well-being.
