CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
This package consists of an on-air sponsorship which comprises of the
following:
• Sponsorship of all episodes of American Idol which will be aired from
Jan 2014 to May 2014 (5 months, Dates - TBC).
• An opening and closing credit, a generic 30-sec program promo, 30sec Customized Creative Vignettes and TVC inside the programs.
• For the main sponsor, there will be a contest promo to promote the
weekly tune-in.
• 1 pair of money-can’t-buy tickets to the American Idol S13 Grand
Finale for Client to run a consumer campaign

WEEKLY TUNE-IN PROMO & LOYALTY CAMPAIGN

American Idol has a huge week to week following in Malaysia and we are planning to
work with the number #1 English radio station, Hitz FM in Malaysia in a search for the
Biggest American Idol Fan.
The contest will directly promote tune in to the channel in order to get the password
which qualifies their entry on the contest via call-in to the Hitz FM. Hitz will push the
tune in of American Idol on-air and talk about the performance and the elimination onair after watching it the night before.
Collectively, this will be a joint promotion with Astro loyalty arm, Astrolife and will be
heavily promoted via the radio air time and Astro’s air time.
The winner will join Hitz FM morning crew to the finale of American Idol in LA and they
will update their AI experience through social media.
Detailed mechanics will be provided upon confirmation.
This initiative is available for the main sponsor only.
