South Metro Stars Interleague & TAC Cup Development Programs Under 15 Information Night Under 15 Interleague/Development In 2016, the SMJFL is working closely with the all aligned TAC Cup Clubs. Joint-Program Objectives Objectives The key objectives for all stakeholders has been to provide the following outcomes: 1. Bring the SMJFL and TAC Cup Clubs closer together 2. Reduce the overall cost 3. Reduce the combined program length; which will reduce player and/or parent burn-out. 4. Streamline the use of facilities, resources & administration. Currently holds Coaching Director role at Hawthorn Citizens in the YJFL Former Board member of the Southern Football Netball League in Victoria. Game Style, Game Fundamentals, Off –Field, Physically, Mentally, Leadership & Teamwork Cost of the Program will be $275 - this amount will be heavily subsidised by AFL Victoria for each individual player to try and make it as affordable as possible. As part of their fee Players will receive high level training from very experienced pathway coaches, ongoing feedback & assessment and training gear including a Dragons bag, training shirt, shorts, socks, drink bottle. Training will take place approx. once a week after the initial SMJFL Interleague releases take place and work its way through to trial in September with a short break mid year. Training will look to compliment other commitments and reduce workload not increase it. Training sessions will likely take place at TBO or a suitable venue close by depending on availability and we are hoping to have this confirmed ASAP. We plan to work with David Sheridan and the Inter Coaches to have a number of them transition over with us in the second half of the season. Oakleigh Chargers - U15 Program Cost Pre-season • 21 x training sessions from November – February • 2 x trial matches in late March / early April 2016 In-Season • Program breaks for interleague, club & school football commitments Post-season • 4 x training sessions in September • 2 x trial matches in September 2016 $275 Cost SMJFL Interleague – U15 Program Cost $40 - Train-on Fee The Train-on payment is required prior to the first training session. $280 - Interleague Carnival Fee Carnival participation payment is required by the last training session prior to the jumper presentation evening. Failure to do so may result in a player not being able to participate in the interleague training or carnival.
