FUNDING: None. BACKGROUND: The Truckee Cemetery District currently has one vacancy expiring July 1, 2013. A notice to fill the vacancy was posted at two locations within the Eric Rood Administrative Center, at the Madelyn Helling Library, and on the County website. The position was also advertised in The SierNa Sun newspaper on June 13, and June 20, with a final filing date of June 29, 2012. Two applications have been received, one from Edmund Czerwinski and one from Cari Leversee. Both of the applicants have been interviewed. The interview panel included Supervisor Ted S. Owens, SupervisorElect Richard Anderson and Truckee Town Clerk, Judy Price. The interview panel is recommending the Board appoint Edmund Czerwinski to the District.
