Presence sensor: With a pick-up range of 4 m x 4 m, the sensor
responds to even minor movements. Increasing the pick-up range
to 5 m x 6 m extends the detection field for larger movements.
The pick-up range can be increased using upgrade sensor
DALI-AL-PIR.

Daylight sensor: The system is set in the factory for a nominal
illuminance of 600lx with 30% reflection. The sensor actuates two
different luminaire groups. Luminaire group 2 is controlled with a
30% offset relative to group 1, which is located nearest to the window.
Individual adjustments are possible using optional DALI-AL-FB1/FB2
remote control units.
Depending on the degree of daylight and on the presence of a
person in the room, the lighting system can be controlled in
two different operating modes using the RIDI Green Box basic
components:

Actuation takes place through the master luminaire for up to
7 additional slave luminaires in 2 groups for different levels
of brightness on the window / corridor side depending on the
daylight control setting.
The master luminaire must be positioned as part of
luminaire group 1 on the window side.
For presence detection, the master luminaire must also be
placed in proximity to the desk or workstation.

Mode 2: Open-plan office
If the level of daylight is too low AND there is someone present in the
room, the lighting system switches on. When there is no longer anyone
present, the lighting system dims automatically with a delay of
15 minutes and switches off after 120 minutes.
