ANNUAL CONFERENCE
We are pleased to invite you to
the annual GeriMed conference.
This year, the conference will be held in the
resort town of Newport, Rhode Island at
the Newport Marriott! GeriMed’s annual
conference is designed to help pharmacies
maximize profit and focus on important
topics that affect the LTC pharmacy
industry.
Founded in 1639, Newport has one of the
highest concentrations of colonial homes
in the United States in the downtown
Newport Historic District, one of three
National Historic Landmark Districts in the
city. Bellevue Avenue, another National
Historic Landmark District, is home to a
number of mansions from the Gilded Age,
including The Breakers. One of the most
poplar attractions, the Newport Cliff Walk,
is a 3.5 mile public walkway that borders
the shore line and runs behind many of the
famous gilded mansions. While attending
the conference, pharmacies will enjoy
this New England Summer Resort and the
opportunity to experience Newport’s history
and beauty.

Monday evening on the beach (weather
permitting).
Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will
receive Continuing Education Credits.
Meals will be provided during the
conference to attendees at no cost.
GeriMed has secured a special room rate
of $279.00 per night and conference
attendees may access this rate by
registering with GeriMed. Pharmacies
do not need to reserve any rooms at the
Marriott, reservations will be made by
GeriMed. Pharmacies that would like to
arrive early or stay on after the conference
