years. We have grown from a small
community hospital to a progressive,
clinically sophisticated medical center.
Our specialty services continue to increase, including
comprehensive cancer treatment, expanded cardiovascular services, and a nationally recognized Orthopaedic
Surgery program. While we have grown significantly
over the years, we have not lost the importance of

BEEBE WALK-IN SERVICES
The Walk-In Care Center will meet your healthcare needs when
your primary care physician is not available. Information from
visits to the Walk-In Care Center can be forwarded to your
physician with your permission.
Walk-In Care offers treatment for ailments such as:
• Upper respiratory infections such as sore throats,
sinus infections, flu, laryngitis, allergies
• Ear, eye, and bladder infections
• Sprains and minor injuries
• Gastrointestinal complaints
• Skin problems such as minor rashes and burns
• Headaches
• Minor cuts and simple lacerations
• Limited medication refills

SUPPORT GROUPS
Support groups for members of the community are held on a
regular basis. Unless otherwise stated, all meetings are held at
the McCurry Conference Center at the Beebe Health Campus,
John J. Williams Highway (Route 24), Rehoboth Beach.
Mended Hearts Support Group
3rd Tuesday of the month at 2 p.m.
A heart health support group for those who have heart disease,
for those who have had heart-related medical procedures, and
for those who have had open-heart surgery. For additional

Stroke Support Group
Fourth Thursday of the month at 5 p.m.
The group provides support to stroke survivors and their
caregivers. It provides education and resources to maximize

Better Breathers Club
Third Wednesday of the month at 1:30 p.m.
A support group for those with pulmonary diseases. Information on pulmonary diseases and treatments is presented by
respiratory therapists, physicians, dietitians,

Type 2 Diabetes Support Group
First Wednesday of the month, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Come join a friendly group to discuss concerns about Type 2
Diabetes. The group meets at the Diabetes Management

Diabetes Insulin Pump Support Group
Second Wednesday of the month, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
If you wear an insulin pump or are interested in learning about
wearing a pump, come join us. A support group provides an
opportunity to meet others who also live with diabetes and
share concerns. Beebe’s Certified Diabetes Educators will be
available to answer questions. The group meets at the Diabetes
