Marvin learns the Months My name is Marvin and I am a puppy. My first grade class is learning about the calendar year! Each one of my friends learns about each month! Do you know your months of the year? Let’s learn! Snowy days and cold winter nights, the month of January is full of white lights! Will you be mine, my sweet valenFne? In February we celebrate love and watch the snowflakes fall from above. In March we party on St. Patrick’s day! You must wear green, that is the lucky way! April brings puddles of rain. Gardens full of seeds need much water to gain. May is full of flowers and plants. But make sure you watch out for the ants! School is out and summer is in full swing, the month of June brings lots of laughing. The Fourth Of July is all about the USA, a parade, carnival, and fireworks that last all day. People dress in red, white, and blue, to show they are American true. Hot summer days lead to long days at the beach. Summer vacaFon is almost out of your reach. The school bus comes to take you to school. In the month of September, the weather starts to get cool. In October, the leaves begin to change color. Children are carving pumpkins and Halloween has them going under cover. The trees are becoming bare, as their leaves begin to fall. Thanksgiving is coming soon, you can hear the turkeys call. December brings the holidays, the cold noses and the snowy days. It was the end of the year unFl the fireworks burst, then it is back to January first!
