Choose a vehicle that is suited to your requirements. First class travel comforts
are guaranteed in all models:
All are fitted with a kitchen refrigerator and sink unit, washroom with sink and
freshwater flush toilets, and most with separate shower cabins. Heating, external
electric power cable connectors and cable drums, 12-Volt batteries and charger
unit and of course bicycle rack, can all be found aboard. Last but not least – all
vehicles are fitted with servo assisted steering and an audio unit with cassette
deck.
Ask our rental staff about extras such as cooking utensils etc., they will try their
best to satisfy all your wishes.

Hiring made easy
Dear HYMER-rent customer,
your holiday really starts with the choice of your motor home. The vehicles at your disposal are all under
two years of age, professionally serviced and maintained and equipped with the highest standards of furnishings.
How and where do you take over and return the
motor home ?
First of all a little advice. If at all possible do not plan
the take over of the motor home and the start of your
journey on the same day. Our HYMER-rent personnel
will take time to instruct you on the correct and best
usage of your rented motorhome. If you cannot avoid
starting your journey on the first day, try and plan the
first leg to be as short as possible.
The motor home assignments are carefully planned.
Therefore we must remind our customers to keep to
the assigned return date/times agreed in the contract.
If a vehicle is returned late we must unfortunately
charge the user at a rate of € 25,– per started hour,
(max. 1 Day rental fee.) If any damages are incurred
by us due to the late return of a vehicle, (e.g. claims
for compensation from the next user) we reserve the
right to render compensation claims against you.

All inclusive prices
Our rental prices are all inclusive and feature the following items:
– Including V.A.T
– Fully comprehensive insurance with a voluntary
excess of only € 1000,– per case
– Fire and theft insurance cover with a voluntary
excess of only € 250,– per case
– The vehicle hirer can reduce the amount of voluntary excess by means of further insurance cover
available through the rental agent.
– Third party insurance up to € 50 Mio.
– Full HYMER europass mobility service
– Travel withdrawal insurance
– Bicycle rack
– Awning
– Unlimited milage
– Any servicing or wear and tear repair costs incurred during the hire period will be fully reimbursed.
Service fee
A standard service fee is generally charged per rental. This one-off lump sum includes the following:
filled gas cylinders, biodegradable toilet chemicals
and cleaning of the vehicle exterior. It also includes a
detailed introduction to the correct handling of your
vehicle by our HYMER-rent partners.
The vehicles are cleaned inside before they are handed
over and must be returned in the same clean condition. If full or partial cleaning of the interior and/or
emptying of the cassette toilet is necessary, this will
be charged at € 90.– / € 180.–.
Additional costs
Petrol and running costs are carried by the vehicle hirer. The vehicle will be handed over to you with a full
tank of petrol and should be returned with a full tank.
The rental price is calculated as of the hiring station,
(site of handover to customer) to the return of the
vehicle to the hiring station, (including completion
of return protocol). The season prices are calculated
according to the dates of use by the customer.
Booking and payment conditions
Motor home reservations are only valid with a
written confirmation from the rental agent. A deposit of
€ 250,– is to be made by the customer within 10
days of receipt of this written confirmation. Bank
details are shown in rental agreement form. From this
point in time the contract is deemed binding for both
parties. If the down payment is not received within
the above 10 day period, the contract may no
longer be binding for the rental agent. The rental agents
bank account must be in receipt of the balance of the
rental price 21 days prior to the rental date. The
complete rental price is to be paid immediately if
the rental reservation has been made less than 21
days prior to rental date (short-term reservation). A
security deposit of € 1000,– in cash must be made
to the rental agent – at the latest prior to the vehicle
hand-over. It is not possible to receive the vehicle
before the full rental price and the security deposit
have been made. The security deposit will be returned in the full amount upon the undamaged return
of the vehicle and after the completion of the final accounts. If any extra costs are incurred by the
rental agent, e.g. petrol, internal cleaning, WC waste
disposal etc., they will be subtracted from the security
deposit before its return.
Minimum rental age
The minimum age for the vehicle hirer and driver is
21 years. This person should have been in possession
of a valid class 3 driving licence (German class B) for
at least one year. Please note that some models may
have a gross weight of more than 3.5 tons and thus
require the possession of a class 3 (German class C 1)
licence.
Hand-over / return of vehicle
Before the start of your journey it is absolutely necessary that the rental agent‘s experts instruct you
on the correct usage and handling of your hired motor home. Hand-over times are: Monday to Friday
3.00 pm – 6.00 pm. Return of vehicle: Monday to
Friday 9.00 am – 11.00 am. No vehicle hand-over
or returns are possible at weekends and public holidays. Deviations to the above hand-over or return
times must be cleared by the appropriate HYMER-rent
agent. The return of the vehicle is deemed as completed with the rental agent‘s signature on the return
protocol. In total, only one day will be charged for the
vehicle hand-over and return, provided these do not
exceed 24 hours.
Replacement vehicles
If for some reason the reserved vehicle cannot be
made available, the HYMER-rental agent reserves the
right to provide another vehicle comparable in size
and fittings, or one of a larger model. No extra charges will be made if a larger vehicle is used as replacement. If a smaller vehicle is offered and accepted, the
price difference in rental costs will be reimbursed. If
a larger vehicle is accepted by the customer, it is with
the understanding that he/she is responsible for any
extra travel costs that may be incurred due to size
difference, e.g. ferry costs, tunnel or motorway tolls
etc..
Travel in foreign countries
Travel is permitted in all EU countries with the exception of Turkey. Journeys outside of the above
countries is permitted only after prior consultation
with the HYMER-rent agent, who will give his written
permission and complete the necessary extra insurance details. Travel in war zones or areas of crisis is
forbidden.
Travel resignation insurance
The travel resignation insurance, which is included in
the rental price, begins with the receipt of the written booking confirmation. Should the vehicle hirer
have to resign from the contract due to exceptional
circumstances, the insurance cover then comes in to
force.

HYMER-rental station immediately.

All our vehicles are as new. Unfortunately there is still
the possibility of a breakdown.
Please note: Minor repairs up to € 150,– can be undertaken by the vehicle hirer without our prior confirmation. Any repairs to be undertaken above the mentioned sum must have our prior confirmation. Please
do not forget to keep all such receipts of payments
you have made. Without a receipt there can be no
reimbursement.
Complaints
If any faults or damages to the vehicle are discovered after the rental period starts please notify the
HYMER-rent agent immediately, at the latest on return of the vehicle.
Miscellaneous
Smoking and the transportation of pets is only permitted in the vehicles subject to agreement with the
hire agency.
Errors and modifications during the season excepted.
These rental conditions apply to vehicles hired in
Germany.
