STRATHMORE Location Utilities The Town of Strathmore is situated on Highway 1 (TransCanada), 22 minutes east of downtown Calgary. The Town has 45 minute access to Calgary International Airport, and 25 minutes access to the completed north portion of the Stoney Trail loop road (linking to Highway 2). Electricity/Natural Gas are deregulated in Alberta. There are a number of energy retailers in Alberta offering a variety of pricing plans and contract packages.
