OnStar Rewards Used Car Manager Monthly Activations Volume Incentive TO START EARNING REWARDS, JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS The OnStar Rewards Used Car Manager Monthly Activations Volume Incentive gives Used Car Managers the opportunity to earn up to 1,000 award points. This program rewards up to two Used Car Sales Managers per location when their dealership properly activates OnStar on 20 or more qualifying pre-owned GM vehicles in a calendar month. STEP 1: Ask your local OnStar Dealer Advocate (ODA) to add you as a program participant. •T o find the contact information for the ODA assigned to your area, visit www.OnStarRewards.com to view the ODA listings and map. • They will email you an invitation to join the program and will describe the steps that will walk you through step 2. (Note: A unique, non-shared email address is required.) PROGRAM PERIOD: Monthly program from February 1, 2015 through June 30, 2015 STEP 2: Create your OnStar Rewards profile. HOW TO EARN: Used Car Sales Managers will receive earnPOWER points when 20 or more valid claims are activated during a calendar month. The Activation Date will be used as the qualifying date in determining which month the claim will be assigned. •L og in to www.OnStarRewards.com with the log-in credentials in the program invitation email and create your User profile. STEP 3: Activate the vehicle. •S ell a 2006 or newer OnStar-equipped GM vehicle and have the customer push the Blue Button and ask the OnStar advisor for “3 Months On Us”. The advisor will then activate the three month Trial package. • The vehicle must be Activated within 30 days of submitting an award claim. See program rules for validation details. Level 1:20-39 activations in one calendar month = 200 award points Level 2:40-59 activations in one calendar month = 400 award points Level 3:60-79 activations in one calendar month = 600 award points Level 4:80-99 activations in one calendar month = 800 award points Level 5:100+ activations in one calendar month = 1,000 award points REQUIREMENTS: Up to two Used Car Sales Managers per dealership may participate in this program. If a dealership has two participants, the award points will be divided equally between the managers. Participants must be enrolled in the OnStar Rewards program, and have an active profile on www.OnStarRewards.com. STEP 4: Submit a claim. •L og in to the OnStar Rewards site and click the “OnStar Pre-Owned Activation” tab on the right side of the page. On the “Pre-Owned OnStar Activation Incentive” panel that appears, click “Go to the OnStar activation claim page”. • On the claim page, enter the VIN and click “Submit”. If successfully validated, you will receive an email notification that your claim was validated and will be processed for payment. The following day (allow up to three days), you will receive another email notification that your award points have been deposited into your earnPOWER wallet. • At any time during the program, you can log in to OnStar Rewards and redeem your award points for merchandise, travel, event tickets, dining cards and much more! HERE’S HOW THE PROMOTION WORKS Up to two Used Car Managers employed at participating dealerships are eligible to participate. If two managers from a single dealership participate, any award points issued will be evenly divided between them. OFFICIAL RULES Program Period: February 1, 2015 - June 30, 2015 How to Earn Awards: To earn awards, the following steps must be completed for each pre-owned vehicle sale: 1.Sell a 2006 or newer OnStar-equipped GM vehicle (OnStar FMV units are not eligible) 2.OnStar Activation: Push the blue button for a welcome call with the customer 3.Submit the VIN for validation on www.OnStarRewards.com by entering a claim on the OnStar Rewards claim page. All VINs must be activated and submitted for validation within 30 days of OnStar Activation in order to be validated. Pre-activation of used vehicle prior to consumer purchase does not qualify for this incentive. The claim must be validated to be eligible. The Activation Date will be used to determine the month of the valid claim for award payout purposes. Award Level Number of OnStar Activations Award Points 1 20-39 200 2 40-59 400 3 60-79 600 4 80-99 800 5 100+ 1,000 Award Point Deposits: Participants will see earnings reflected in their OnStar Rewards Personal Rewards account after the end of the calendar month. Because claims can be submitted up to 30 days after Activation, please allow approximately 40 days after the end of the calendar month for earnings to be reflected in your wallet. For example, if an OnStar Activation occurs on September 30th, and the claim is submitted on October 30, total valid Activations for the month of September can not be calculated until November. Eligible Dealerships: Any Dealership that is properly licensed and in good standing to publicly sell used GM Vehicles and are selected and invited to participate in the promotion by an OnStar Dealer Advocate. Dealer Change: Any financial arrangements between incoming/ outgoing dealers related to this program will be a matter for adjustment solely between the incoming/outgoing dealers. OnStar shall assume no responsibility with respect thereto. OnStar will reward eligible dealerships in place at the time the award is made under the program as detailed in the rules. Dealerships must be active at the conclusion of the program to be eligible for rewards. Appeal Process: Any appeals must be put in writing and faxed to OnStar HQ at (313) 665–0746 within 30 days of original claim date. All documentation must be included explaining why appeal is being submitted. Rewards member must retain a copy of all appeal correspondence and fax confirmation sheets. OnStar shall have the final decision in its sole discretion on all appeals from program participants. Auditing: OnStar reserves the right to audit all dealer records supporting any award under this promotion and to disqualify participants in the event of any irregularity. Sufficient dealership records must be kept to evidence the sale or lease of all vehicle deliveries and related OnStar enrollments supporting claims under the promotion. OnStar also reserves the right to reverse or withhold any awards improperly paid to participants. In all matters relating to the interpretation and application of any rules of this promotion, the decision of OnStar shall be final. All applicable GM Incentive Program Guidelines apply. Cancellation: OnStar reserves the right to cancel, amend or revoke this program at any time for any reason. Program rules subject to change without notice or reason at sole discretion of OnStar. Tax Provisions: Liability for federal, state or other taxes imposed upon an award is the sole responsibility of the dealer or the award winner, not OnStar. OnStar will report all awards to the appropriate taxing authorities if required. If required, a Form 1099 from OnStar will be issued to the sales consultants receiving the award at the end of the applicable calendar year. When award recipient reaches the tax threshold they will be required to provide SSN for tax purposes only. Award Eligibility: Points are not transferable. The individual earning the points must be employed at the dealership at the time of distribution or points are subject to forfeiture. Void where prohibited by law. Accrued Points will stay with the sales consultant if they continue employment with a different eligible dealership as deemed by OnStar Program HQ.
