Kings Lake, offering you both an exclusive neighborhood and a classic lifestyle, is an
ideal place for you and your family to make new friends. It is a tranquil place
to live with almost every type of recreational activity close at hand. Fitness
and exercise clubs, such as Cooper Fitness Center and Lifetime Fitness, are
within 10 minutes of your new home. Several challenging private and
semiprivate golf courses and country clubs are nearby, including Stonebriar
Country Club, Gleneagles Country Club, TPC at Craig Ranch, and Bent
Tree Country Club. All are world-class clubs within 15 minutes of Kings
Lake. Scenic public golf courses, including Chase Oaks, Ridgeview Ranch
Golf Course, and Plantation Golf are within 15 minutes. Offering boating
and other water sports are the beautiful lakes of Lewisville, Lavon, and Ray
Hubbard which are only 5, 20, and 25 minutes away, respectively. Several
local and state parks are located within 25 minutes, including Preston Ridge
Trail, Arrowhead Park, Preston Meadow Park, and Eldorado Park. At these
parks you and your family can enjoy hiking, bicycling, and picnicking.
The Dallas/Fort Worth area offers a broad variety of cultural diversions.
Anchored by the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and the Dallas
Museum of Art, the Dallas Arts District is one of the largest in the country. You
can discover history and art in Fort Worth at the highly acclaimed Kimball
Art Museum or Amon Carter Museum or you can enjoy the Dallas Summer
Musicals at Fair Park or Fort Worth’s Casa Manana Theatre. Sports fans
can root for professional teams including the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, and
Rangers. Also, the Frisco Rough Riders stadium, featuring Texas’ own minor
league baseball team, is only 5 minutes away. For fine dining, there are many
excellent restaurants in Plano, Frisco, Allen, and of course Dallas.
