We hope you will join the Cancer Support Community – Redondo Beach at our 17th Annual Celebrate
Wellness – A Food & Wine Tasting Event in the Garden at the South Coast Botanic Gardens in Palos
Verdes. The money raised at this event is vital in keeping our 150+ completely free of charge programs
of support, education and hope available for the over 15,000 lives we reach each year. We are proud
to now be the only local nonprofit to provide free support and education for kids whose parents were
affected by cancer through our Kids Community!
Your particpation along with other local wineries, breweries and non-alcoholic beverage providers will
continue to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. We will supply your tables, access to
electricity, water, ice and volunteers. You will need to provide samplings for 600 guests, décor for your
booth space, and we recommend marketing materials. Some great benefits include:

• Recognition in Social Media Outlets -FB, Twitter and Pinterest- and eMail Blasts
• Listed in our annual report to be mailed to large donors and grantees

• Most importantly, knowledge that you have helped cancer patients and their loved ones
To ensure all of these great benefits and more, please respond by April 15th, by returning the attached
Restaurant Participation Form and Hold Harmless Agreement. Space is limited to the first 45
participating restaurants, by invitation only.
Scientific studies have proved that psycho-social support for cancer patients is a vital form of treatment
in fighting the disease. Our Cancer Support Community continues to be on the cutting edge of providing
state of the art recovery-focused groups, exercise programs, nutrition lunches, and doctor’s lectures and
educational programs for learning about the latest research and treatments – all of which create
opportunities for a person with cancer to become patient-active by participating in their own recovery.
The more regularly cancer patients participate in these programs, their quality of life becomes better and
their will to live becomes stronger. This all has an impact on recovery and longevity. “Anti-Cancer – A
New Way of Life”.

Celebrate Wellness 2013
Hold Harmless Agreement
Participants Release, Assumption of Risk, Covenant Not to Sue and Hold Harmless:
Participant desires to participate in Celebrate Wellness 2013, has a direct impact on funds
raised for Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach and will give one month notice if
unable to participate. To do so, Participant voluntarily agrees to the following:
Participant and releases, waives, and discharges the Cancer Support Community Redondo
Beach, to be referred to as “Released Parties.” This includes Released Parties past,
present and future members, owners, employees, officers, directors, principals, parents,
subsidiaries, affiliates, associate corporations, agents, partners, representatives,
predecessors, heirs, legal representatives, successors, sponsors, beneficiaries and assigns
to the full extent allowed by law, from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of
action for injury, however caused, even if caused by the negligence, in whole or in part
and in any form, of the Released Parties. Participant will not sue or make a claim against
the Released Parties for Injury and will pay all attorney’s fees and costs of the Released
Parties shall Participant file suit or make a claim. Participant will defend, indemnify, and
hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, judgments and costs, including
attorney’s fees (to the limited extent that the defense and indemnity are not otherwise
covered by collectible liability insurance), in the event that someone suffers personal
injury, bodily injury, death, or property damage as a result of Participants negligence,
gross negligence, or willful misconduct in connection with any Cancer Support
Community Redondo Beach events.
