RATES PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2015
1. This competition is a promotion run by the City of Joondalup (“Promoter”).
2. Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4. The competition is open to ratepayers of the City of Joondalup, who pay the full amount due as
listed on their 2015 rates notice before 10.00pm WST on Friday 14 August 2015.
5. Payment must be received before the closing date to go into the draw. No responsibility is
accepted for late, lost or misdirected payments.
6. The competition commences Friday 17 July 2015 and closes 10.00pm WST on Friday 14
August 2015. The competition will be drawn at 3.00pm on Friday 21 August 2015 at the City of
Joondalup Administration Building, 90 Boas Avenue, Joondalup, 6027.
7. There will be six winners chosen at random from a database of all eligible rate payments
received. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The six winners will be invited to attend a Rates Prize Draw function at the City of Joondalup
Civic Centre where they will be randomly matched to one of six prize packages. Winners or their
representatives who are authorised in writing must present a current form of identification upon
collecting the prize. Each winner receives only one prize package.
9. The six prize packages consist of:
a) Camry HV Atara SL 2.5L CVT. Total value $43,623.92 (includes on road costs)
Includes black leather trims, Atara SL HV plus Moonroof, Toyota weather shields, Toyota mud
spats and Toyota carpet mats.
b) Blue Juice Charters Fishing Holiday Prize Pack, total value $6,610.00
• One Dream Live Aboard fishing charter for two people with Blue Juice Charters at one of two
world renowned fishing locations. Either six days, five nights at the Montebello Islands or a
four day, three night charter around the Abrolhos islands. Only valid for the supplied dates for
2016 season. Not redeemable for cash. Guests are responsible for getting to the departure
location in Exmouth. Includes fully catered charter with all meals, drinks, accommodation and
all equipment. Total value $5,800.00.
• Double pass for Grand Cinemas. Expiry date noted on pass. Total value $40.00.

c) Bendigo Bank Prize Pack, total value $5,108.70
• $2,000.00 Bendigo Bank Savings Account. Account must be opened at Joondalup Bendigo
Bank. Prize paid to existing Bendigo Bank account in name of Ratepayer. If the Ratepayer does
not hold a Bendigo Bank account, the Ratepayer will need to open one to claim the prize. The
Ratepayer’s name will be provided by the City of Joondalup to Bendigo Bank for the purpose
of confirming the Ratepayer’s identity. Original letter and identification must be presented in
person when opening account. Prize to be redeemed within 12 months. Total value $2,000.00.
• 12 month VIP Membership to HBF Arena (formerly Arena Joondalup). Prize is valid for 12
months from date listed on the voucher. Voucher must be redeemed prior to 31 December
2015. This membership is subject to the terms and conditions as specified in the membership
agreement. Total value $933.70.
• Two nights accommodation in a deluxe standard room at Joondalup Resort, including full buffet
breakfast for two. Excludes Saturdays. Subject to availability. Expiry date noted on voucher.
Total value $560.00.
• Luxurious overnight stay at Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough. Bookings are subject to
availability. Voucher is not valid on public holidays or during block out dates. Expiry date noted
on voucher. Total value $500.00.

d) Rottnest Fast Ferries Ultimate Island Getaway Prize Pack, total value $5,349.00
• Rottnest Fast Ferries Ultimate Rottnest Island Getaway for four people. Subject to availability,
booking required. Not valid for travel between 24 December 2015 to 13 January 2016. Voucher
expires 18 July 2016. Every effort will be made by Rottnest Fast Ferries to book you in for
preferred dates and times. However, please note, accommodation and tours book out quickly so
Rottnest Fast Ferries recommend booking well in advance. This voucher can only be used once;
partial redemptions will not be accepted. All four passengers must travel together. Total value of
$2,344.00.
• $800.00 store credit for The Good Guys, Joondalup. Store credit to be spent at the Joondalup
store only. Voucher is to be spent within 12 months of issue and is not transferrable for cash.
Total value $800.00.
• 2016 First Class Falcon Membership to the West Perth Football Club. Winner must contact
the club to activate membership. Personal contact details, including date of birth, will need to
be provided to West Perth Football Club. First Class Falcon Membership includes entry to all
2016 West Perth Football Club home games (excluding Finals Series), one reserved parking
bay at all 2016 home games (excluding Finals Series), exclusive First Class Falcon apparel,
one President’s Luncheon during the Season, afternoon tea at all 2016 home games. This
membership is valid for the 2016 WAFL Season only. This does not gain you entry to West Perth

• 12 month Multi Access Membership with City of Joondalup Leisure Centre – Craigie.
Membership must be redeemed within six months from the date of presentation. Valid for 12
months. Total value of $970.00.
• Five nights stay in a Studio, Hotel Style Ocean View Room at Quality Resort Sorrento Beach.
Subject to availability. Voucher valid until 19 December 2016.Total value $1,245.00.
• $1,000.00 Westpac account. Prize money will be paid to a Westpac account only. If the winner

confirming the winner’s identity. Full identification required upon opening of account. Total value
$2,500.00.
• Three nights accommodation for four people in a three bedroom deluxe apartment at Balneaire
Seaside Resort, Albany. Bookings are subject to availability. Valid until 31 September 2016.
Cannot be used during peak periods such as Christmas to New Year, Easter weekends and
gazetted public holidays. Cannot be exchanged for cash. Total value of $1,065.00.
• Two double passes (four tickets in A-reserve) to the West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s
performance of Beethoven and Mahler. Tickets are valid for the performance on Saturday 21
November 2015. Allocated seats are subject to availability. Total value of $356.00.

10. Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter will not be liable
for any change in the value of the prize between the date Rates Notices are issued and the date
prizes are claimed.
11. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prizes which are lost or
stolen will not be replaced.
12. The prizes are subject to availability and all other relevant Terms and Conditions.
13. The winners will be notified by phone, email or mail of their entry into the Rates Prize Draw
Function and sent a formal invitation to attend the function. If a winner cannot attend or
send a representative to the prize function they will be advised following the event of their
prize. Competition results will be published in the Joondalup Voice printed in the Joondalup
Weekender Community Newspaper on Thursday 22 October 2015.
14. Winners of the Camry HV Atara SL 2.5L CVT vehicle must register the car in the winner’s
name only.
15. Collection of prizes will be organised by the winner following notification of their winning entry.
The Promoter will not be liable for any delivery or travel costs associated with claiming a prize.
The winner must collect their prizes by 11 January 2016 or it will be judged forfeited.
16. The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of
conducting the competition. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their
contact details for the purposes described in this clause.
17. Photographs will be taken at the Rates Prize Draw function for marketing and media purposes
and the Promoter has the right to use these images without seeking prior approval of the
prize winner.
18. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained
as a result of taking the prize[s] or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no
representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or
services offered as prizes.
19. Lost or misplaced vouchers cannot be replaced or reissued.
