From the Desk
of the Director of Golf:
Valued Members,
The first round of Aerification has been completed on all four courses. I’m extremely pleased
with the progress that is taking place on the Copperhead as we move into our 100 days of
Growing Season. In May we were able to punch all Greens and Fairways, top dress and begin
smoothing out some of the rippled areas on the Copperhead Course. We are right on schedule
as we head into our second year of our newly restored course. Not overseeding the Island Golf Course this winter has proven to be very beneficial in improving
the overall health of the Fairways; any contaminated areas in the Island Fairways will be
addressed and removed this Summer moving us closer to our goal of perfectly healthy Green and
Fairways. Another exciting enhancement being made to the Island Course is the construction of
two new Tee Boxes. The Tee Boxes on #1 & #3 are being reshaped/expanded and re-sodded with
Celebration Bermuda. This is the first step in improving the Teeing Grounds on the Island. We will
continue to monitor and address other Tee Boxes moving forward that need similar improvements.
The Game (our 5pm Thursday Summer Quota Game) is off to a fantastic start! Thank you to
all the members that came out to support our first match of the summer. We had our best
turnout ever with 9 forsomes! I hope this trend continues and if you’ve never participated,
I would like to personally invite you come out and enjoy the fellowship of this great, weekly
event. We will be playing every Thursday, except June 30 in recognition of the upcoming 4th of
July Holiday weekend, so I hope to see and play golf with you soon!

Summertime…the time for juniors to have fun!
The PGA Junior Golf league started in 2011 with 16 teams totaling 170 participants. In 2015, there were more
than 2500 teams totaling 30,000 participants! Teams are hosted by PGA & LPGA professionals in order to help
grow the game plus give an opportunity for juniors to learn and play golf in a fun teamwork setting. Innisbrook
set a goal this year to have 4 teams to create their own home league with great success of 38 players! Our
season has already had their first match with 20 of the players at beginner level and 5 of them experiencing
playing on course for the very first time!
No matter what type of sport a child is learning, the process is very important for success. Here are 2
beneficial sites for Long Term Athletic Development - LTAD
Titlist Performance Institute Junior Golf Parent support program
https://www.gapgolf.org/pdf/2010_junior_body_balance.pdf
And Golf Canada http://golfcanada.ca/app/uploads/2015/01/2015_GC_LTPD_EN-FINAL-low.pdf
Today’s society wants everything to reach peak performance NOW but you’ll see in the material above the
correct process to reach peak performance takes time and proper levels.
Be patient with beginners; assist them to learn sports properly and ALWAYS make it fun! For any questions,

nature watch: Whitetail Deer
Written and photographed by Golf Operations Dave Noel
In May we received three new visitors to the grounds of Innisbrook. Three young whitetail
deer. This is the time of year mom is about to have new fawns. Last years’ kids will have to
find a new home. At first they were very nervous of so many people with big homes and
condos’. Strange scents came from backyards such as cookouts and pets. But the bright
side was the golf courses loaded with food.
p i p e l i n e | 22
They have now been seen on all four golf courses. Your best bet to see one just before
dark might be on the Island course. Walk quietly from holes 3 -7. If you see one stop and
check his tail. If it moves side to side it means all is safe. If the tail goes straight up then
there is danger and the deer is about to leave.
There is one very small male deer called a “button buck” or yearly male. His small horns
can grow as much as ½” a day. In a few months he will sport a nice little basket rack of
about 4 points.
Hopefully these whitetails will call Innisbrook home year round.
Innisbrook
Real Estate Services
Condo Corner
Considering Innisbrook Ownership? Our on-site real estate
associates, Debbie Nobile and Donna Lindner come highly
recommended. Hear what some of their clients are saying:
“Debbie and Donna and the entire team offer a great experience in buying or selling a property. Their sound,
knowledgeable advice and support throughout the process are invaluable. Best of all, the entire customer
experience feels very much more like friendship than customer-vendor relationships. I highly recommend
these very professional ladies if you are looking to buy or sell in the Innisbrook area.”
—John S.
“During at time when the economy is, well BAD!, and the real estate market, well BAD!, Debbie was able
to provide an acceptable offer for a Condo, owned by my family’s estate at Innisbrook. It was a load off
my mind and she did the work for throughout the listing and the closing”.
—Robert B.
“I have bought and sold real Estate at least 30 times in my life. Donna and Debbie’s service was 2nd to
none! They were very diligent in not only pointing out advantages, but also potential downfalls. It gave
me the confidence to feel good moving forward! “
—Paul G.
“
Donna was my selling agent and both Donna and Debra were very professional and informative
throughout my transaction. I was a realtor myself for over 15 years and so I know the difference between
a mediocre agent and an expert. Donna and Debra are experts in their field”.
—Barbara B.
“Debbie has been our agent for two purchases within the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, FL over
the past 4 years and we could not have been happier with her service. She is pleasant, patient and
professional. Her work on both transactions required many showings and negotiations. She represented
us well and her advice has always been solid. She always got answers for our questions quickly and
accurately. She is a pleasure to work with and we would work with her again without question”
—Charlotte M.
