The first edition of this Package of health information published on 2001 and the third edition on 2009. This package includes data and formal name of Health Facilities, health directorates, primary health centers, hospitals & specialized medical centers in Erbil governorate based on administrative structure. Furthermore, it includes information on the type of health services provided in the hospitals, primary health centers and the distance of these facilities from the main building of directorate of health of Erbil which is located in the center of Erbil city. In the second edition of this package the location of all health facilities are placed on a map (satellite image map) which you can get access on our website (www.dohhawler.org ) .I hope in the near future we could update this map through locating of the new health facilities which were built during the last two years on the map. Periodical issuing of this package has been discussed with all relevant departments in the directorate of health and there is a consensus to be updated every two years. Ultimately I would like to extend my gratitude & thanks to all participants who prepared this package of valuable health information. There is no doubt every wish and dream cannot be reached without work & there is no work without shortages.
