GROUP INFORMATION Riciclato Circo Musicale is an Italian group created in 2006. Four musicians with backgrounds and artistic experiences completely different from each other, but with a common characteristic: the passion for research and continual experimentation with sound. Inspired by tribal and primitave culture “RCM” uses recoverd materials and common objects that can be found at home, in the cellar or even at the dump. With these objects they have constructed every type of instrument from the more conventional and contemporary, until arriving at a creation of new types, like the Barattolao, L’Olifante, la Chiteja, the Bassolardo, the Buzzeria, the Controbarattolo, the Cassitar, the Radiomin, the Medusa and many more. In the last years, “RCM” have been exploring numerous alternative musical situations, like using electrodomestic objects in their shows. Interesting technological instruments that are striking for their incredibile and explicit sound capacity. The Rasoner, the Spremitono, the Vignarolophon, the Spazzolino Elettrico, are all musical instruments used in their performance, amplified with microphones also autoconstructed using magnets wrapped in copper.
