Our YZF-R1 hasn't escaped our engineers’ attentions
either. Improving a bike that's won in world superbike, endurance, superstock and, well, virtually every
class it has entered, wasn't easy - but the 2006 bike
features a number of small but significant improvements
based on the feedback from our racing customers.
Superstock racers have been catered for with the
new Sports Production version of the R1, a fully
homologated machine featuring high specification
