These fuel tanks take about 40 to 60 hours to install depending on the mechanic’s
ability and the condition of the wing. It is strongly recommended that this

Defroster Kit for PA-12
The defroster kit has its own diverter box, control and outlets. It is installed AFT of
the cabin heat box on the inside of the cockpit. Installation time varies from 4 to
8 hours depending on the aircraft. The kit uses 2” CEET hose and works very well
and can be very hot depending on the aircraft condition of the exhaust and cabin
heat box, etc. This is considered a minor alteration. No approval is required.
