COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
The Tour de Mount Olive Grande is a 28 mile ride that combines
scenic routes, challenging climbs and a chance to see the beauty of
Mount Olive Township. Riders will pass various historic sites. The
ride is open to all skill levels, age 14+. T-shirts are guaranteed to all
who pre-register before September 9th and as supplies last after.
The Tour de Mount Olive Petite is a 12 mile ride that follows the
beginnings of the Tour de Mount Olive Grande also offering scenic
routes, challenging climbs and historical Mount Olive sites. The ride
is open to all skill levels, age 14+. T-shirts are guaranteed to all who
pre-register before September 9th and as supplies last after.

REGISTRATION
The Five Mile Family Bike ride is a 5 mile flat course which
encourages healthy family activity. This course will ride through the
Cloverhill neighborhood. This ride is open to riders of all skill level
and ages. Families will ride together and we require a ratio of 1 adult
per 3 children. Family registration allows for up to 2 adults and 6
children per family.
The Bike Safety Clinic focuses on teaching children ages 5 to 9 yrs
old proper road safety. Hosted by TransOptions, children will get
their helmets and tires checked too. Children are encouraged to
participate before joining their parents for the Family Bike ride.
The St Judes Trike-a-Thon is a special course on the paved track
in Flanders Park for children ages 2 to 5 years. Children will be
asked to fundraise for St. Jude’s in lieu of a registration fee.

COURSE SAFETY
ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A HELMET!
The event is rain or shine. In the event of dangerous weather
during the ride, the Race Director will make the call to close
the course and riders will be assisted back to Flanders Park
by local EMS and MOPD.

TOTAL SPORTS SQUIRTS (age 3 to 5): Experience a new sport each week of the
program, with Sports Squirts. Participants have the opportunity to try Lacrosse,
Soccer, Basketball, T-Ball, Floor Hockey, Parachute games and more in a safe,
structured environment. All activities promote hand-eye coordination,
movement, balance and most importantly Fun, Fun, Fun!

PARENT AND ME: TOTAL SPORTS SQUIRTS (age 2 to 3): Ideal for any child just
starting out in the world of sport, the Parent & Me Total Sports Squirts Program
introduces children to a new sport in session. With a helping hand from Mom or
Dad children will have the opportunity to try Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, T-Ball,
Floor Hockey and more!

T-BALL SQUIRTS (age 3 to 6): This program is a great way to introduce your
young sluggers to the exciting game of baseball! Focusing on the fundamental
skills of the game, including hitting, throwing, catching and running the bases,
our progressive T-ball curriculum enables each child to develop their skills and
understanding of the game.
Age 3 to 4: Sundays, 12:30pm- 1:30pm
Age 5 to 6: Sundays, 1:45pm- 2:45pm

SOCCER SQUIRTS (age 3 to 5): Soccer Squirts learn the fundamental skills of
soccer through a program of structured activities, fun based games, and
scrimmages.

PARENT AND ME: SOCCER SQUIRTS (age 2 to 3): With a parent participating
by their side, kids will have fun learning the fundamental skills of soccer
through a program of structured activities, fun based games, and scrimmages.
Each session will focus on maximizing participation and learning through
games designed to stimulate a child's imagination and develop motor skills.
Saturdays, 4:30pm- 5:15pm, starts September 14.

TENNIS SQUIRTS (age 3 to 5): A fun-filled learning adventure that introduces
children to the world of tennis. Children will have great fun learning the
fundamental skills and tennis strokes in a low pressured, fun environment. This
USSI program offers a variety of games and activities to maximize participation,
increase success, and promote learning, all while having fun!

FIRST PLAY TENNIS (age 5 to 14): USSI First Play Tennis programs provide an
opportunity for players of all ages to learn real tennis and have fun in the process!
Following developmental curriculums and guidelines laid out by the USTA,
participants will learn the basic fundamentals, and experience success from start
to finish. Players must provide their own racket.
Age 5 to 7: Sundays, 10am- 11am • Fridays, 4pm- 5pm.
Age 8 to 14: Sundays, 11:15am/ 12:30pm • Fridays, 5pm.

BASKETBALL (age 5 to 8): US Sports Institute basketball is ideal for children who
want to develop their skills in a relaxed and fun environment. The focus of USSI
basketball is to improve the individual’s technique through a series of fun
basketball challenges and drills.
