Colors
We don’t name our colors. Instead, we use numbers, a system that allows you to choose a color you like without the implications a name can
have. Below are color palettes created specially for a few of our collections. These color choices can be applied to any invitation suite. Let us
know which you like.

Paper
Chipboard: This is a brown board (the color of a paper bag) that is extremely thick and board-like with lots of
flecks and imperfections. It can be foiled, and will only print bright, bold colors. Chipboard does not pair well with
kraft paper since the colors are too similar. This choice is often used for rustic invitations.
Cotton Rag with Texture: Our cotton rag paper stock is heavy with a visible texture. Instead of bold, crisp lines,
this paper lends itself to uneven printing that creates a worn, vintage look. Large blocks of printing, such as
skylines, do not print well on this paper. This paper only comes in one color, ivory.
Matte Ultra Fine Stock: This is the powerhouse of our paper stock, and one we love. It is firm with a wonderful fine
surface, prints like a dream and can be foiled. This paper comes in pure white and ivory.
Metallic Shimmer: An ultra-luxe paper, this stock has a subtle pearlized look, creating a shimmer that gleams in
the light. When gold or silver is printed on this stock, the shimmer makes the ink look metallic. This paper can be
foiled, and comes in pure white and ivory.

Fonts
At B.Designs Paper, most of our invitations can have their fonts changed. You can find that information on the product page. We have over 800
fonts in our collection. But don’t worry ~ to keep things easy, we will send a carefully curated selection to you along with our wedding invitation
questionnaire and wording. Usually, our couples find their font easily within the choices. But if the font of your dreams is not there, we will send
more selections based on your tastes. Or if you already know the name of the font you’d like to use, send it to us; we probably own it. There are
two fonts on each example. The (t) refers to the general wording font and the (s) refers to the couples’s names.

Patterns
All patterns in our invitations are interchangeable, and the color of each pattern can be changed to match your color palette. A pattern can be
printed on the back of most invitation for an extra fee, used as a bellyband, made into an envelope liner or used as a border.

Graphics
Each collection has graphics designs beyond what you see on our website. We will send you our catalog for the
collection you have chosen. If you would like to mix and match graphics, great. Our designs are created to be
used together or separately.
Extra Frills
At B.Designs Paper, we love the extra frills ~ special details, like a bit of lace peeking out from under a tag and
twine or your names in calligraphy across a shimmery envelope liner, that make you fall in love all over again every
time you pick up your invitation.
Binding Options
The way you hold together the elements of your beautiful invitation is the first thing your guests notice when they
pull your invitation out of the envelope. Whether it’s a colorful bellyband or a playful bit of burlap and a seal, the
binding heightens the anticipation for the invitation while adding a bit of texture and color that hint at what is inside.
Bellyband: This is the cornerstone of most of our designs. Printed on paper a luxe text weight paper that matches
your invitations, the bellyband folds around the invitation and can be secured with a bit of double-sided tape.

Tag and Twine Upgrade: We will gladly forgo the bellyband in favor of a tag and twine package. There are several
tag styles to choose from and we will create a custom-designed tag and tie it with a lovely bit of flax, baker’s twine
or our signature Italian cotton cording.
Tag, Twine and Bellyband Upgrade: Like the layered combination of a patterned bellyband with a tag and twine
closure? So do we! This is a stunning way to set the tone for your invitation. We will create a custom-designed tag
and tie it with a lovely bit of flax, baker’s twine or our signature Italian cotton cording, which will be layered over a
custom-printed bellyband.
Tag, Twine and Lace or Burlap Band Upgrade: Nothing says romance more than a bit of lace or the texture of burlap against a fine, luxe paper stock. You can choose a lace or burlap band, which will be topped off with a
custom-designed tag and tied with a lovely bit of flax, baker’s twine or our signature Italian cotton cording.
Envelopes
Two kinds of envelopes come with each package: the mailing envelope and the RSVP envelope.
Mailing envelope: This protects your invitation during the mailing process. You can choose envelopes made from
kraft paper or from paper that matches your invitation stock.
RSVP envelope: This is the envelope your guests will use to send their RSVP card back to you. You can choose
envelopes made from an antique gold shimmer paper, a silver shimmer paper, kraft paper or paper that matches
your invitation stock.
Customized Envelopes
Return Addresses: We will print your return address on the mailing envelopes and RSVP envelopes. The return
address will match the font on your invitation, coordinate with your colors and may include graphics.
Guest Addresses: This package includes everything. We will design a fantastic envelope for you that will include
graphics, your return address, all your guests’ addresses and the RSVP envelope. Then we will print everything on
your envelopes with care.

Envelope Liners: As your guests carefully open the envelope flap, they’ll see a flash of color or a delicate print.
Maybe your names are written in a classic calligraphy font or a quote is splashed across the shimmery background. Whether the liner is a bold or delicate contrast to the envelope, it will be remembered.
Outer Envelopes: In the past, it was customary to wrap an invitation in two envelopes. The first was the mailing
envelope or outer envelope, which protected the invitation from mailing. The second was the inner envelope, which
could be lined and housed the invitation. The outer envelope had the address written on it, while the inner envelope contained only the guests’ names. While most couples do not use outer envelopes, we offer this option to
those who love the traditions of old and the unexpected luxury of two envelopes. Want your guests’ names printed
on the inner envelopes? Ask us for a custom quote.
Boxed
Presentation is half of the fun of an invitation. If you want to have an over-the-top invitation, you need over-the-top
presentation ~ a boxed invitation.
Once we’ve designed your invitation, we’ll select a box, a material to line the inside and a band to hold the box
closed that beautifully match your invitation.

Rubber Stamps
We can have a custom rubber stamp made just for you, a special heirloom to use and cherish for years to come.
The stamp can feature anything you can dream up: your wedding monogram, a return address or even just your
names in glorious calligraphy. Pricing is dependent upon size. Ask us for a custom quote!
