A membership with Holiday Trails RV Resorts
allows you to camp with your RV at our quality
RV resorts for no nightly fees. It entitles you to
stay at any of our resorts for up to two weeks
at a time, at which point you must leave and
move on to a different resort if you wish. There
is no overall limit to how many nights that you
can camp within our system, so you can literally
camp 365 days per year for only the low cost of
the annual dues.

Recipes
Hot Crab Dip
This is a hit whenever I make it. It can be made the night before serving. Great for RVer’s
because you can
use canned crab, but fresh crab is always the best.
12 ounces cream cheese (360 g)
1 1/2 tablespoons milk or white wine (25 ml)
6 ounces crabmeat (180 g)
1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion (15 ml)
1/8 teaspoon Dijon mustard (0.5 ml)
toasted slivered almonds
Cream cheese with milk or wine until soft and smooth. Add crabmeat, onion and mustard and
blend well.
Place mixture in an oven to table dish and refrigerate overnight. Bake in a 350 deg.F (180 deg.
C) oven for
about 20 to 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with almonds during the last five
minutes and
serve with assorted crackers.
Cranberry Feta Salad

1 1/4 cups dried cranberries
1/2½ cup red wine (or grape juice)
Combine and simmer for 15 minutes, turn off heat to cool and while still warm add:
2 shallots or red onion (sliced fine)
2 garlic cloves – minced
1/3 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tsp sugar
(Best if this sits overnight to combine flavours (or let sit out on counter for an hour or two)
1/2 cup pine nuts lightly toasted (careful they burn easily)
1 cup feta cheese -– crumble and toast lightly (best if placed on a sheet of foil & toasted at 350 for about
10-15 minutes or longer if a moist feta)
3/4 of large ‘clam’ of mixed greens or 1 1/2 bags
When ready to serve combine greens with cranberry mixture, toss, add pine nuts and sprinkle with feta.
Great Canadian Cheese Burgers
have a patty-stacker, they freeze beautifully for

1 lb. regular ground beef (500 g)
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese (250 ml)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp. dried oregano (15 ml)
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce (15 ml)
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper ( 2 ml)
1/2 tsp. salt (2 ml)
4 slices tomato
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
