reduce class sizes, and support programs that complement the curriculum
and enrich the academic experience for all students at Cardiff Schools.

CLASS SIZE REDUCTION
Helps keep our class sizes low in impacted grades.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
Students in grades K-6 receive weekly instruction from a
PE specialist in the area of movement, exercise, sportsmanship,
cooperative learning and skill-based games.
HANDS-ON SCIENCE LAB
Students in grades K-6 engage in weekly supplemental hands-on
science lab experiments that are standards-based and extend student
knowledge of science concepts that are introduced in class.
CLASSROOM MUSIC/PERFORMING ARTS INSTRUCTION
Students in grades K-3 receive weekly standards-based classroom music
instruction with a music specialist. Students in grades 4-6 participate
in a weekly standards-based Performing Arts seminar where they build
self-esteem and confidence by taking part in performances.
ART DOCENT PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Every student’s classroom is offered the opportunity to participate
in a monthly standards-based, process-oriented art lesson. The Art
Docent Program Coordinator is respo sible for recruiting parent
volunteers as docents, training the docents, scheduling the classes
with the teachers, and keeping the program running smoothly.

GARDEN PROGRAM
All K-3 students participate in planting, tending, and harvesting
their own crops of vegetables during the year. With the newly
redesigned and enlarged garden, each child has two plots of their
own to maintain.
TEACHER MINI-GRANTS
$300 monetary grants are given to all classroom teachers
to purchase additional supplies, materials, and equipment
that directly benefit the students.
ASSEMBLIES
Students in grades K-3 enjoy informative, cultural, and
educational assemblies throughout the year.
SIXTH GRADE CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS
Based on the state outdoor education curriculum, all sixth grade
students are invited to participate in this fun, weeklong, adventure
at Camp Cuyamaca. All children may participate regardless of
financial circumstance and these scholarships help ensure
inclusion for all students.
ADA HARRIS WILDCAT BAND SCHOLARSHIPS
4th through 6th Grade students have the opportunity to participate
in the beginning or advanced instrumental music program.
Students receive instruction with both the sectional music coaches
as well as the band director, and practices culminate in multiple
performance opportunities throughout the school year.
iPADS IN THE CLASSROOM
The district and the Cardiff SEA have partnered to provide all
students in grades K-6 with the use of an iPad to support personalized
learning opportunities, allow students to individually and
collaboratively create projects and presentations, and utilize digital
curriculum. These devices also provide students with immediate
feedback and re-teaching opportunities.

GENERAL RULES:
Use only the bid number assigned to you when you check in.
All sales are final: There will be no exchanges or refunds on items
except where specified.
All decisions of auctioneer are final.
All values provided are estimates only. All items are sold “as is” with
express or implied warranties or representations as to value, condition
or fitness. Except such warranties from manufacturers (if any) as may
be expressly included with your purchase. Purchasers of items are
urged not to ask donor to make exchanges or refunds. All items have
been donated.
Please note that some auction items have expiration dates and/or other
restrictions. Which are specified in this program. Purchasers must
honor these restrictions.
LIVE AUCTION RULES:
The live auction will begin at 7:30p.m. and continue until all items have
been auctioned. In order to bid, bidders must raise their bid program
high enough to attract the attention of the auctioneer. Once bidding on
an item has been declared closed, sale is unconditional and there will be
no further negotiations on price, terms or condition of purchase.

ALL ITEMS SOLD “AS IS” AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Cardiff
Schools Education Association and auctioneer assume no liabilities
resulting from the purchase and/or use of auction items and are not
responsible for any errors or omissions. All items are sold with no
guarantees or option as to conditions, representation, or warranties.
FEDERAL INCOME TAX INFORMATION:
The amount of any contribution that is deductible is limited to the
excess of the amount paid over the value of the goods or services
as stated on the receipt. 100% of Direct Giving and priceless
contributions are tax deductible.
