○SUPER TURBO MUFFLER
“Low exhaust back pressure”, “Quiet”, “Feeling of RB26” are the concept of
this product.
- φ85 straight pipe is capable from stock vehicle to upgrade turbine. The less
bending layout achieved low exhaust gas back pressure. The optimized flange
locations enable enough road clearance as the same level as stock.
- The sound level clears JASMA standard and sound is tuned for various
situations. It is as quiet as stock at idle and low load condition. Beautiful sport
sound of the inline 6 cylinder engine can be heard at high load condition.
- The tip has inner slits. It was designed with the idea of owl’s wing that flies
silently. With this design, sound level was reduced about 2dB.

The key item of exhaust back pressure control with knowhow of HKS CZ200S (CZ4A). Maximization of performance from stock turbine is
the concept of the product.
Extension portion and front pipe portion are connected with a flexible joint. It improves “durability” that is an important factor of tuning.
- The bad feeling due to exhaust resistance at high rpm is prevented. Power & torque will be increased for whole rpm range up to high
rpm.
- CAD designed complicated but ideal shape is manufactured with lost wax casting. Without welding portion, the smooth inner surface
guides exhaust gas flow smoothly.
- The turbine outlet is 2 ports independent shape for main turbine impeller side and bypass internal wastegate side to reduce resistance
due to interference of gas. Exhaust gas back pressure is reduced about 20% from stock.

Special set up version based on HIPERMAX III !
In addition to the well supported “HIPERMAX III BB / BP5, BL5
LEGACY” that was developed by collaboration with a Japanese
magazine, the new suspension is for GR Impreza.
The single tube structure and ride height adjustable lower case of
HIPERMAX III enable great ride feeling with the concept of BBtune
“Premium & Sporty for multi usages”.
Soft ride feeling on street and quick handling on winding road. It is
comfortable in a lot of situations.

Ride height adjustable suspension kit for low down vehicle users.
The set up prevents worse ride feeling due to heavier weight of large size
wheels and damage of aero parts due to roll of the vehicle.
The front has camber adjustable pillow upper to prevent interference of
tire and fender when ride height is set low.
Style oriented low or even super low down ride height setting is possible
with ride height adjustable lower case for both front and rear.
Ride feeling is more comfortable than other S-Style series. The
comfortable setting enables daily use of the vehicle even with low down
style. For people who prefer stiffer setting, damping force can be set

- New concept oil filter that oil pressure loss and oil flow characteristic are improved by 30% than

○HKS Diagnosis System I
- Vehicle diagnosis tool that has indication function of vehicle diagnosis code, description of malfunction, deletion of diagnosis code and
data monitoring.
- Systems for diagnosis are [engine, transmission, ABS and air bag]. All operations are managed with a PC.

- Diagnosis function => Indication of malfunction code and description of malfunction.
- Malfunction code deletion function => Malfunction code can be deleted and warning light will be turned off.
- Data monitor function => Data monitor function enables to monitor engine conditions. It can collect data of stock engine before setting
and after setting.
- Compact design using PC => PC and the diagnosis unit are connected and the unit is connected with OBD connector of the vehicle.
With this configuration, the diagnosis unit is compact size 90mm x 44mm x 25mm. It is easy to carry. A PC for PowerWriter can be used

○GT II SPORTS TURBINE KIT for LANCER EVOLUTION
EVOLUTION 4-9
A new stock replacement type turbo kit for LANCER EVOLUTION IV – IX is
under development with a newly developed HKS original turbine. The target
horsepower is around 430PS that is the middle of stock boost up and external
wastegate type turbo.
- The turbine assy is newly developed HKS original turbine. It is a stock
replacement turbine kit to LANCER EVOLUTION IV-IX, which have reverse
revolution direction turbine.
- The ball bearing enables both high power and response.
- The exhaust impeller is inconel and compressor side is aluminum for well
balanced performance of heat resistance and response.
[ Point of the new HKS original turbine ]
○HKS original development
Since establishment for 36 years, HKS have been trying turbo tuning. However, there was a limitation to make better item/specification
using core of universal turbines. To develop ideal turbine for tuning engine, design, testing, production and closing in house is needed.
Therefore, HKS developed an original turbine.
○Ball bearing
HKS made debut of ball bearing turbine as “GT Turbine” and it has been well supported since then. Since the mechanism highly
balances response and horsepower, this system is equipped for the newly developed turbine.
○Characteristic of the turbine
Larger compressor and turbine wheels than stock 4G63, ball bearing and twin scroll turbine housing enable high horsepower as well as
the same level of torque and response at low and middle rpm range as stock turbine. The target is 430PS that is the middle between
boost up of stock turbine and Full Turbine (GT3240).
○Materials and durability
Materials of housing, impellers are no compromise and better than other famous turbo manufacturers’. Durability and heat resistance
performance are proven during development.

Normal revolution direction turbine for 4B11. Other applications with vehicle specific housing designs will be released later.

○HIGHHIGH-PRESSURED FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
The latest injection system from RB26 RE-START PROJECT. Collaboration of
the latest technology and RB26 offers high horsepower and high efficiency
driving.
- The latest injector enables high efficient combustion and atomization of fuel
injection that is achieved by high pressured fuel injection.
- With the high pressured high volume system, atomized large volume fuel can
be injected within valve opening time. It improves combustion efficiency and
achieves high horsepower.
- Management of fuel injection pressure and injector operation are controlled
by HKS original special device. Fuel injection volume is controlled by F-CON V
Pro.

○V CAM SYSTEM STEP1 TYPETYPE-C
Renewal V CAM SYSTEM for RB26. With larger duration camshaft, performance
is improved at high rpm range than current Type B.
- The special head cover for V Cam system will be also renewed. It is about
25% lighter than the previous model.
- The target turbine is Sport Turbine Kit like GT2530KAI. It has well balanced
performance of easy drivability and high power at high rpm for street, winding
and circuit driving.

CONNECTING ROD
Reinforced connecting rod for R35 GT-R, which is expected high power tuning.
- For high power engine, the designed safety margin is twice than stock connecting rod.
- The weight and weight distribution is the same as stock. Thus, balancing of crankshaft is
not required and it allows replacement of connecting rod only.
- It has been testing in a vehicle with a prototype of GT800 Sports Package.

○OIL SUMP UPGRADE for GR6 (R35 GTGT-R)
R35 GT-R has great potential of performance upgrading by tuning. However, there will be big load on the transmission. Honeycomb type
oil sump upgrade supports strength and cooling for the transmission of R35 GT-R.

○WET CLUTCH KIT UPGRADE
UPGRADE for TCTC-SST
Reinforced clutch kit that is capable of high power & high torque for SST is
under development based on data collected during development of GT3240 Full
Turbine Kit.
- Improvement of total balance of vehicle is the concept of the product with
advantage of TC-SST.
- It is not just upgrading of clutch capacity. It has been developed to be used
from street to circuit driving with comfortable drivability for starting and shift
feeling.

○4B11 2.2L CAPACITY UPGRADE KIT
“CZ200S” lapped within a minute with street radial tire for the first time as CZ4A.
With GT3240 turbine, Forged Piston and Reinforced Connecting Rod were
developed for the specification of more than 500PS.
For better response at low and middle rpm and more horsepower at high rpm
range, 5mm stroke up full counter type crankshaft was developed and it will be
2.2L Kit.
