Qantas, QantasLink and Jetstar are the major domestic
carriers and are housed within the main terminal at
Melbourne Airport. Jetstar also flies from Avalon Airport
near Geelong. The airlines operate regular services
throughout the day from Australia’s major cities, with
flights leaving every 15 minutes in busy periods.

Melbourne is synonymous with all that is stylish and cultural
and is a city of discovery with hidden gems around every
corner. Its labyrinth of laneways provide a plethora of
delights, from unique boutiques and hole-in-the-wall cafes
to trendy bars and restaurants. A year-round calendar of
events also provides plenty of action from sporting events,
festivals and world-class musicals.
The Yarra Valley is a wine lover’s paradise that offers some of
Victoria’s finest food and wine less than an hour’s drive from
Melbourne. Sample the wines at family run De Bortoli’s,
taste the delicious cheeses at Yarra Valley Dairy and top it
all off with lunch at the hip and happening Giant Steps/
Innocent Bystander cellar door.
Great Ocean Road
The winding beauty of the Great Ocean Road is breathtaking
so it’s little wonder it’s considered one of Australia’s most
inspiring coastal drives. Complementing the striking views
of the coast and Twelve Apostles are quaint coastal villages
and natural experiences including bushwalking, surfing and
whale watching. The Great Ocean Walk enables visitors to
explore this region on foot.
Escape to the Mornington Peninsula and you will feel like
you’re in Europe, with olive groves reminiscent of Italy
and pinot noir paying homage to France. Situated on Port
Phillip Bay, the region offers picturesque beaches and rolling
hills on one side with boutique wineries located further
inland. Cellar doors, stylish restaurants and championship
golf courses further complement the Mornington
Peninsula experience.
Phillip Island
Phillip Island is famous for its wildlife, in particular the
nightly penguin parade which attracts visitors from around
the world. You can also experience koalas in their natural
habitat and see Australia’s largest colony of fur seals up
close and personal at Seal Rocks. Phillip Island also hosts two
major motor cycle events – the V8 Supercar Championship
and the Motorcycle Grand Prix.

Day 1: Melbourne
Pick up your car and start the day by joining a half day Melbourne City sights tour and take in the beautiful sights of this city. Places
to explore include: Fitzroy Gardens, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance. Travel over the Westgate Bridge,
drive along the Grand Prix track and see the Melbourne Cricket Ground, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Arts Centre, Crown Casino and Port

Day 2: Melbourne-Mornington Peninsula-Melbourne
Drive out to the Mornington Peninsula, and enjoy one of Melbourne’s favourite getaways. Take in a day with sweeping sea views,

scenery. Cap it off with a coffee or a glass of wine at one of the many cafes and wineries in the area before you head back into the

Suppliers: Qantas Holidays is not itself a
transport, tour, event or accommodation
provider. In making your travel
arrangements we act only as an agent
for the airlines, hotels, tour operators and
other suppliers who supply those services.
You should obtain and read the applicable
supplier’s terms and conditions as they
may limit or exclude their liability to you.
How to book: Contact your licensed
AFTA travel consultant, who will be
responsible for managing your booking
and forwarding your payment to us. You
will be deemed to have accepted these
conditions on behalf of everyone named in
your booking. Please note that all requests
for bookings are subject to availability.
Booking fee: Your travel agency may
apply a booking fee in addition to the
price of your holiday package. Please
check at the time of booking.
Payment: A non-refundable deposit
is payable within seven days of
confirmation of your booking:

Payment of the balance in full is required
at least 30 days before the scheduled

For bookings made within this period,
full payment is required at the time
of booking.
If you have not paid by the due date,
we may cancel your booking and retain
your deposit.
Cancellations: If you cancel your booking,
the amount of your deposit will not be
refunded, including deposits required by
suppliers. If you have paid the balance
of your holiday price, suppliers may also
impose cancellation fees amounting to
all or part of the total price paid. Once
your holiday has commenced, you
cannot cancel or obtain a refund on any
component of your booking regardless of
whether you use it.
Changes by you: If you change your
holiday package and your documents
need to be reissued, a change fee is
payable at the time of the change:

imposed by suppliers for any component
you cancel.
Unforseen changes: If we have to change
any part of your booking, for example, if
an airline changes its schedules or your
chosen accommodation is no longer
available, or if there is an increase in the
price due to additional taxes or supplier
charges, we will notify you. You will have
the option of cancelling your booking,
in which case we will refund the amount
you have paid, less any cancellation fees
imposed by other suppliers.
International travel: Each passenger is
responsible for their own visa, passport

immigration, quarantine, customs, health
and other requirements of the countries
to be visited or transited through. Qantas
Holidays makes no representations as
to the safety, conditions or other issues
that may arise at any destination. Travel
advice is available from the Australian
Government at smartraveller.gov.au.
Limit of liability: To the maximum
extent permitted by law, Qantas Holidays
excludes all liability for direct, indirect,
consequential or incidental damages,
lost profits or savings or damages for
disappointment. Our liability for a breach
of condition or warranty implied by law or
otherwise, and which cannot be excluded,
is limited to the extent possible, at our
option to the supply of the services again
or the payment of the cost of having the
services supplied again.
Insurance: Consider purchasing travel
insurance.
Brochure validity: The prices and
inclusions in this brochure are valid for the
dates specified and should be used only
as a guide in relation to other dates. The
prices are correct at date of publication
but may fluctuate due to changes in
surcharges, fees, taxes and currency. Please
check all prices, availability and other
information with your travel consultant
before booking.

suppliers. Facilities may change from
time to time. Pictures may not show the
particular room, décor, view or other
specifications included in your booking.
