Location
The Refugio Viñak–Sierra Lunahuaná lodge lies at an altitude of
3310 meters in Santiago de Viñak in the province of Yauyos. It is a
mere five hour drive away from Lima, on the road that goes through
the town of Lunahuaná.
The lodge is situated atop a high mountain overlooking a series
of deep valleys at the bottom of its slopes, giving the observer an
incomparable sense of grandeur and peace.

The Lodge
You will find the very highest levels of comfort and privacy in
simple surroundings. You will experience the true pleasure of
rest and relaxation as well as the excitement of adventure within
the context of a pristine environment and pure fresh air.
Our staff is highly qualified and at your complete disposal. Our
tailor-made services are intended to spoil you and provide you
with the greatest possible levels of comfort.

Facilities
The lodge consists of 1 suite, 2 rooms for families, 1 bungalow as well
as 6 double and matrimonial rooms. A tempered open-air Jacuzzi* as
well as a bonfire and quite simply put, absolutely spectacular views
await you!
A panoramic dining room…..exquisite Novo-Andina gourmet cuisine
as well as the famous Peruvian Pachamanca.
A main hall featuring a chimney, hammocks on the outsides, warm
heated rooms, access to wireless internet connections, satellite
telephones and so much more!
*Hours of use: from Mondays to Sundays from 10 am to 10 pm (at
least one guest).

Beautifully furnished rooms that have beds with warm bedcovers
and soft cushions as well as comfortable private bathrooms.
A matrimonial suite, should you need a romantic weekend
getaway. Upon waking up, you enjoy a spectacular sunrise from
the privacy of your very own terrace.
We offer Family Rooms for your own and your family’s comfort.
We have a Bungalow for your family’s and your friends’ enjoyment
and pleasure.
We have a choice of double and matrimonial rooms as well as
extra beds. Let us know of your particular needs and wants.

The Route
1. Take the Panamericana Sur until you reach the road, on your left,
which goes from from Cañete to San Vicente. Km 142.

2. Continue along the Imperial route and then take the Nuevo Imperial route.
9. Approximately 12 km after the last river crossing, you will get to the
town of Paillca.
3. Continue along the road towards Lunahuaná. You drive through
the town of Lunahuaná. Km 40.
10.Drive past the village of Huangascar.
4. Get to the first river crossing after Pacarán (the big bridge).
5. Continue along the left bank of the Cañete river, driving through
the town of Zuñiga/San Juanito
6. Continue until you get to the second river crossing (the San Jeronimo bridge). Km 70.
7. Cross the bridge and take an immediate turn to the right (you basically do a U-turn here), where the dirt road starts.
8. You continue straight along this road all the way towards Viñak.
You do not take left or right turns anymore. You ignore all 5 de-

12.Get to the river crossing and then ascend the last 4 km up to the village of Santiago de Viñac and on to the Refugio Viñak-Sierra de Lunahuaná.
Note 1: We recommend you use a 4WD vehicle or a car with high bodywork.
Nota 2: We recommend you leave early for Refugio Viñak-Sierra de Lunahuaná (no later
than 8 am) in order to avoid having to drive at night.

altitude of 3,310 meters above sea level.

We have two minibuses at your disposal for requested transport services.

The transport service starts at a meeting place chosen by the
lodge (MLP). The exact location and time will be confirmed to
the client with two days prior notice.

We do offer other transport services in case additional services
to our existing ones were needed (This service is offered by
third parties, but recommended by us).
The cost of the service amounts to: USD 30 per person, including
IGV taxes.

The night at the Refugio Viñak-Sierra de Lunahuaná includes:

Information about refunds:

Up to 20 days before arrival at the lodge:
100% refund
•
We refund 60% of the total value.
•
We refund 30% of the total value.
•
From 7 to 3 days before arrival at the lodge:
NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN.
Payment Conditions
•
100 % of the total cost of the reservation
must be paid, at the very latest, 7 days
before getting to the lodge.
•
At the time of making the reservation,
a credit card will have to be offered as a
guarantee.
•
Your reservation will be confirmed once you
send us the voucher verifying payment of
your deposit by fax or email. Please send us
information about any dietary restrictions
and health problems together with the
voucher showing proof of payment of the
remaining balance.
•
We will confirm your reservation by email
using the same reservation code.
