Alain Oliver, MBA | Executive Director mission & promise To improve maternal and child health in Chester County through the collaborative efforts of individuals, providers, and policy makers. We are committed to ensuring that all children in the County start healthy, stay healthy, and succeed in school. Healthy Start thanks to you... 390 women were enrolled. 328 babies were born and were welcomed with an infant care package. 96% of babies born were born at a healthy weight . 97% of women with no prenatal care were connected. 36% of pregnant women had symptoms of depression. Only 21% had symptoms postpartum. Family Benefits Family Center and 608 adults were families received home 2,184 children 100 assisted into health coverage by visiting services. our staff and Chester County partners. 1,111 children and 241 adults were assisted into SNAP (food stamps). children were assisted into 1,503 health coverage by our regional CHIPRA partnering agencies. 19 children graduated from the Kindergarten Summer Transition Program (KSTP). 24% is the percentage by which our KSTP children increased in their school readiness skills. 85% of the children in KSTP scored 80% or above after the summer program.
