The simplicity age
We all remenber it. It was not too long ago when the most successful
people were identified by sharp suits, fast cars and a high lifestyle. Not
that it was wrong. It was just another time.
Society has moved on.
Today we know that the luckiest person is not the one behind the huge
desk with a cigar. It’s the free, healthy man. Him who makes a living by
doing what he wants. Some of the wealthiest businessmen now wear
jeans and a t-shirt. Some of their most valuable collaborators work from
home. Some even ride a bicycle to the office. Frugality is the new power.
Simplicity is the new statement.
All this time, the bicycle stood there, waiting to regain the status of the
cleverest vehicle of all. Petrol is the past. Electricity may be the future. But
for the time being, the bicycle remains the top transportation. And that’s
not only because it’s clean and cheap. It’s because it highlights the value of
the simple things in life. That’s exactly what we wish to celebrate in 2014,
starting from the next pages. Ride along.

The complete cycle
At Polisport we are deeply committed with the task of delivering high quality cycling products. That’s why we are
progressively increasing our role in the process.
Thanks to our Design Center, our products are born in-house, at Polisport headquarters. From there they go into
prototyping and testing in our laboratory. The next step is the mold construction, which happens at Polisport Molds, the
most recent company of Polisport group. The following stage is injection, which happens at Polinter, our injection plant.
Then we do the assembling and shipping using the renewed assembly lines and loading docks.
Keeping the complete product cycle in-house means a better control of quality and cost. In the end, it means delivering a
product we can fully trust. That’s our mission and also a great pleasure.

There’s no such thing as too much
safety.
That is why Polisport designed its
own harness buckles.
These buckles were engineered
and tested to endure tensions
well over those generated by the
weight of the baby.
The design of the buckle requires
three buttons to be pushed
simultaneously to unbuckle.
This makes it impossible for
a child to release the harness
without help.
It doesn’t matter how well
designed a baby-seat is. If it is not
properly attached to the bike it
is not safe. Polisport as devoted
all the time, knowledge and effort
needed to develop the safest
holder.
Thoroughly engineered, this holder
provides an extremely stable and
tight mounting and yet is small
enough not to bother the rider
when the baby-seat is not in use.
The cable guides and rubber
padding, also protect the bike.
The easy and comfort of use is as
important for a child as it is for a
parent. That is why Polisport has
developed the Easy Slide System.
On baby-seats equipped with this
solution, it is possible to move
the seat backward and forward
without using any tools.
Its simplicity makes it easier to
adjust and easier to seat the child.
We like to make things simple.
That’s why we don’t like to
depend on tools to make small
adjustments to the baby-seat.
QST is a specially designed screw
with a safety button that allows
immediate adjustments to the
positioning and assemble of the
seat while offering a totally safe
and tight mounting.
With QST you don’t need to use
any tools.
Children are not all the same.
Some are taller, some are quieter
and some enjoy long rides.
This reclining system allows a
movement of up to 20° to help
each child to find his/her favorite
position.

developed, many hours were
spent perfecting its shape.
That is why all our models have
registered design. But beyond
seat shapes, there are functional
solutions that were meticulously
designed to take safety, comfort
and functionality to the highest
standards.

FRAME MOUNTING SYSTEM
Polisport’s Frame Mounting
System was developed to be
safe, simple, reliable, efficient
and easy to use.
The double rabbet and click
system has a very smooth
action when mounting the
baby-seat, sliding easily
into the slots and requiring
no more pressure than the
weight of the seat.
At Polisport we love bicycles
so we developed the
mounting system in order
to avoid any scratch on the
frame.
Inside the holder a rubber
pad protects the bicycle and
allows the mounting system
to adapt to frames of all
different (Ø 28-40) and sizes.
The rear part of the frame
mounting system has an
opening to allow the cables to
fit in without getting pinched.
It takes only a light push of
the button to release the
baby-seat.
CARRIER MOUNTING SYSTEM
Polisport’s Carrier Mounting
System was developed to
take advantage of bikes
equipped with luggage
carriers.
Mounting the baby-seat to
the luggage carrier is very
simple and effective.
The bottom of the seat
is tightly attached to the
carrier.
This solution increases stability
which is important for the rider.
This system, which uses QST
technology, doesn’t require any
tools to mount or remove the
seat so it’s easy to transfer it
from one bicycle to another.
The Carrier Mounting System
can also be moved backward
and forward to adjust to any
bike and child size.

RACK MOUNTING SYSTEM (RMS)

fitting the RMS base

The baby-seats with carrier
mounting systems are still
the most practical as they
allow for a fast, simple and
safe installation. Now we’ve
made it even simpler with the
RMS. In this new solution, the
mounting system is supplied
with the baby-seat, requiring
fewer steps to complete the
installation.
Once the base is firmly
attached to the carrier, the
seat is fixed or removed
with just a manual twist
from a screw. No tools are
required and the system
meets all the safety
standards (EN 14344).
When riding without the
seat on, the base doubles
as a practical object carrier
with the help from its
straps.

Being biodegradable means that

well-known microbial problems
associated with plastic water
containers like odours and badtasting water, Polisport introduces
the Anti Microbial bottle. By using
anti microbial thermoplastic this
bottle provides protection against
harmful bacteries. It not only
prevents the formation of new
microbes; it also eliminates any
existing ones in 24 hours. Keeping all
harmful infections at distance, this is
the most durable bottle on offer.
The functional simplicity of the
water bottle does not mean we
cannot strive to improve it. Polisport
is pioneering a green technological
solution by using a mixture of
plastic and cork in the production
