Because LashFood is a natural product, it will not cause any type of irritation or
side effects. LashFood has been dermatologist tested and approved. As with
any product, a consumer may be allergic to one or more of the ingredients and
is recommended to review the list of ingredients prior to application. For hygienic
reasons, this product should only be used by one person. This cosmetic is not
suitable for children or pregnant/nursing women. Every product in the LashFood
range has been registered with the FDA.
How LashFood is different from other lash conditioning products currently
out in the market
LashFood is the natural, cosmetic alternative to chemical based conditioners such
as Latisse and RevitaLash. The main ingredient of other eyelash growth products
currently out in the market is a chemical called Lumigan that is found in remedial
treatments for Glaucoma.
Growth of the upper eyelashes is a side effect of Lumigan, which is how it is being
used as an ingredient in eyelash conditioners. However, Lumigan has other side
effects such as stinging, inflammation of the eyes, eczema, dermatitis, and can
cause dark circles underneath the eyes.
Persons with blue pupils receiving treatment for Glaucoma who use eyelash conditioners containing Lumigan may cause
pupils to change to a dark brown color; and those with green pupils may notice a change in color as well. In some cases,
serious vision problems may occur.
Also, discontinuing use of these products may cause lashes to fall out. As lashes grow, they may grow out weak and stiff,
making it more likely for lashes to break.
However, LashFood does not contain any hormones or drugs and is made of up natural vitamins and of the highest quality
