Case IH Tractor & Equipment Incentive Program Farm Bureau members can now take
advantage of Case IH equipment discounts thanks to a new membership value program.
Eligible Farm Bureau members will receive an incentive discount – from $300 to $500 –
when purchasing qualifying Case IH equipment from participating dealerships.
The discount is stackable, meaning it can be used with other discounts, promotions,

DAYS OF ’47 RODEO
America’s original extreme sport! The Days of ’47 Rodeo is traditionally Utah’s largest
rodeo, drawing world champion cowboys, cowgirls and rough stock. This rodeo is held at the E
Center in West Valley City. Farm Bureau members save $5.00 per ticket on the first three price
levels. Tickets can be ordered through Ticketmaster, however there are several ticketing fees.
Another option is to call 801-233-3010, select a price range, pay for your tickets and pick them up
in “Will Call” at the E Center. The downside to this method for purchasing tickets is that you
cannot choose your seats whereas using Ticketmaster you can reserve specific seats within your
selected price range.

Lift Ticket vouchers are $80.00—a savings of $39.00 over daily lift ticket rate.

DENTAL BENEFIT PROGRAM
Utah Farm Bureau Federation has partnered with local dentists throughout the western United
States to make a valuable Dental Benefit Program available to all our members and their families.
These dentists have agreed to substantial discounts on all dental procedures including specialty
care.
Along with this valuable benefit, the Dental Benefit Program provides free (no set up fee or annual
charges) health savings accounts to qualified and activated patients through the Bank of the
Cascades. Health savings accounts are an easy way to budget and pay for dental work, rollover
each year, and provide tax benefits for qualified patients.
You will need an activated Dental Benefit Card, which you must present at the time of service. To
enroll and receive your activated card, go to www.dentalbenefitprogram.com and follow these
instructions:

Click on the "Get Started No Cost" button, then select the "I have received a Group ID# only”
option.

Using the Group ID# UFB100 enter your registration information in the appropriate fields.
Step 3
Once activated, you will be assigned a Patient ID# that you should write down. Your permanent
card will be mailed to you in 3-5 working days.
Step 4
Should you need to see a dentist immediately, you can show the Farm Bureau Mobile APP with
your Group and Patient ID#s at the dental office you select. Log into the site
www.dentalbenefitprogram.com to view the participating dentists and discounted fee schedules by
entering your Group and Patient ID#s.

FARM SAFETY PROGRAMS
For the purpose of saving lives and preventing injuries, the Utah Farm & Home Safety Program
offers safety programs to county Farm Bureaus, any farmer or rancher, civic and charitable
organizations, schools and churches. The services of A. J. Ferguson, Vice President of Farm
Safety, will help create a safer workplace and prevent worker injuries.
Thanks to Utah Labor Commission for supporting this important program through the Workplace
Safety Grant. Their support helps make this program available to all Utah farmers and ranchers
for little to no cost.
Available Programs:
 Utah Farm Extrication – Course developed to aid rural EMS, FIRE, and EMTs in rural
extrication and firefighting.
 Confidential Workplace Safety Inspections
 Risk Management
 Farmedic – Each year, needless injuries and deaths occur to farmers, family members,
farm employees, and rescue personnel. Emergency responders often lack knowledge of
the nature of farm machinery, chemicals, and farm structures; in addition, some rescue
techniques may actually increase the risk to the victim and rescue personnel. Training
and education in the methods of farm/rural rescue are essential for proper response and
safety to the rescuer and patient. The main goal of the Cornell Farmedic Training
Program is to provide rural fire/rescue responders with a systematic approach to farm
rescue procedures that address the safety of both patients and responders.
 ATV and motorcycle safety training – for farm use and recreational use, including the
Utah State Parks and Recreation safety certificate.
 Continued Education Units (CEU) – for applicators that need to renew their licenses with

Utah Department of Agriculture.
Tractor Certification Course – structured for 14 – 15 year old students to meet Federal
Child Labor Law requirements.
First on the scene – Safety training for farmers, farm workers and farm families stressing
emergency situation reaction plans.
State and Federal Regulations Consultation – review regulations that apply to agriculture.
Age Appropriate Task Training – designed to help parents and grandparents understand
how to protect their families.
EPA Worker Protections Standard training – an aid to help agricultural employers to
become compliant or remain compliance with the pesticide applicators license.
FFA Safety Presentation – Meet with local chapters and provide farm safety and rural
health training to help youth understand the potential risks involved in agriculture.
Rural School Safety Training – course designed to provide awareness of the hazards that
exist on farms. For all ages of youth.
Farm Field Days – Present a brief message on simple farm safety, ATV safety or bicycle

During the harvest season Farm Bureau sponsors Farmer’s Markets along the Wasatch
Front, where farmers from around the state sell fresh Utah produce and fruit. These
popular markets attract customers from throughout the area who look forward to

MEMBER PROTECTOR PROGRAMS
Families who belong to Farm Bureau receive automatic insurance coverage for accidental death and also
benefit from the crime deterring influence of the Farm Bureau $1000 Reward program.

Accidental death insurance covers each Farm Bureau member, the member's spouse, and
unmarried children less than 26 years of age living in the named member's household. Coverage
amounts range from $500 for dependent children and begins at $1,000 for named member up to
$1500 with five or more years of continuous membership.

This insurance covers all accidental deaths which occur independently of all other causes and
within ninety days from the date of the accident except for deaths resulting from accidents which
occur on a public road or highway and arise out of the occupancy or use of any motor vehicle
except for farm tractors. This accidental death insurance also does not cover death from suicide;
war and military or naval service in time of war; the committing of an assault or felony; illness,



UTAH STATE FAIR
The last Saturday of the State Fair is Farm Bureau Day. There are always plenty of things to do and enjoy,
including the Great American Cook-off featuring an aromatic demonstration by some of Utah's finest
