in 1906, the Hotel Carlton Lausanne has become an iconic address
during its long and illustrious history. Serge Reggiani, Michel Simon,
Serge Gainsbourg, Enrico Macias, Jeanne Moreau, Nina Hagen,
Jean Ferrat, Nana Mouskouri and Eddie Lawson, to name but a few,
have all enjoyed the superior hospitality of this establishment. A
multitude of French and international personalities succumbed to
the charm of this beautiful building throughout the 20th century,
and in the new century our fine establishment continues to exert
the compelling attraction that successive renovations have only
enhanced.

The Classic rooms of the Hotel Carlton Lausanne
are a generous 18-20 m² and can accommodate
from 1 to 2 persons in optimal conditions of
comfort. Tastefully decorated and furnished with
care, they have all the amenities necessary for the
convenience and well-being of their occupants.
With their roomy 21-23 m² of area, the Executive
rooms are specially designed for travellers looking
for plenty of space and comfort. Designed to
accommodate up to 2 adults, these rooms offer
a refined setting and a cosy atmosphere, and are
spacious enough to be equipped, on request, with
an additional bed. All rooms in this range can also
be equipped with separate twin beds.
Very roomy, with their 32-35 m² of available space,
the Junior Suites of our hotel have the distinction
of flexibility. In addition to their ultra-comfortable
bedroom, each has a separate lounge with sofa,
desk, satellite TV and safe and the configuration
can be adapted to the comfort and requirements
of each occupant. All rooms in this range can be
equipped with separate twin beds.

Lausanne culinary institution the L’Ardoise restaurant re-opens in May
2015 after 8 years of closure. With its comfortable and freshly refurbished dining area and its superb shaded terrace, it is the ideal place
to enjoy, whatever the season, a memorable dining experience. The
delicious and original dishes that feature on the menu of L’Ardoise pay
homage to the ‘brasserie’ spirit that characterises the décor of the place,
and consist predominantly of high quality local produce. It draws heavily
from the cuisine established during the twenty years of the L’Ardoise of
old.
Chef, a staunch advocate of the products of the Vaud canton, sources
produce directly from the region’s artisans and producers. This concept
of ‘from farm to fork’ is an innovation that guarantees the full traceability
of all food offered. The exceptional wine that accompanies this cuisine
celebrates the richness and diversity of the Swiss vineyards. Here is
gourmet food, taste and quality, all at affordable prices and served by a
professional and friendly team.

relaxing on the terrace, enjoying the view and listening to soothing music. An outdoor bar with stylish furniture allows you to continue the relaxation out of doors with
