BeasyTrans™ Easy Transfer Systems

This product range utilises the innovative idea of a
rotating seat that tracks along a rigid plastic board.
This reduces the risk of shear stress and friction
associated with patient transfer because the seat
moves with the user. The user glides laterally on a
round seat that rotates through 360° meaning that
it is easy to use and highly practical for the user.
The BeasyTrans Transfer Systems are made from
exceptionally strong plastic, which means that they
can support a user up to 180kg (28¼st). They are also
light enough to be easily transportable. The Beasy
transfer system is available in three styles.

The Q2 Motility Board is a truly universal transfer board. Its unique
curved shape and maximum working load of 285kg enable it to
be used in virtually all applications. Ideal for use in both assisted
and non-assisted transfers, it can also be used for face-to-face

3 ProLateral Transfer Board
The ProLateral Transfer Board has been specifically designed
to enhance the versatility of Lateral Transfers. Its unique design
enables the board to either match the contours of a profiling
bed or be used completely flat as in a normal lateral transfer.
The ProLateral's ability to be able to transfer directly across to a
profiled bed is particularly useful where a patient is either afraid
or unable to lie completely flat during a lateral transfer. Lightweight
with six ergonomically positioned handles, the ProLateral board
is easily placed and removed in most transfer situations.
The handholds, when the board is folded in half, can be used to
hang the board up, thereby ensuring that the board takes up the

4 Lateral Transfer Slide and Sheet
The lateral transfer slide has a smooth surface and non-slip
base allowing a patient to be moved from one surface to another
without the need to be lifted. It features tapered edges to allow
for easy insertion and removal. The transfer sheet is a full-length
sheet with six long handles that eliminate the need to bend and
stretch to effect the transfer. When used together, correct posture
can be maintained during the transfer. The sheet can also
be used in an emergency situation when a patient has fallen.

sturdy. They are lined with a soft fleece material for comfort

the problems involved in transferring patients in a bed. It is made
from extremely smooth material treated with a special coating
and this, combined with the dual-layer design, creates a supersmooth aid that reduces friction significantly. This reduction in

SoloGlide Disposable Glide Sheets offer low cost individual
patient transfers eliminating laundering costs whilst significantly
helping to reduce cross infection issues. The material is a
specially designed, triple layer hybrid polymer, formulated to
enable a smooth transfer. The material features a very low friction
yellow inner with a higher friction kingfisher blue on the outside.
The SoloGlide is very strong and can withstand contact with
liquids. The SoloGlides are supplied in a dispenser comprising

Using the Ross TurnSheet Maxi means that little force is required
when turning clients and that there is no unnecessary lifting for
the care givers. It is designed to lie permanently on the bed and
covers all pressure points to help prevent pressure sores; it can
also be used on top of a pressure relieving mattress. The mattress
cover is smooth in the middle and has an anti-slip surface at the
edge to minimise the risk of clients sliding out of bed. The soft,
microfibre top sheet is placed over the mattress cover and
provides maximum lying comfort. The TurnSheet Maxi fits most

The WendyLett is a unique concept incorporating a slide sheet
and a draw sheet with a difference - it can be left underneath
the user. The system consists of two parts, where each part
has its own functional role to play. The base consists of a low
friction centre part with an anti-slip striped surface on the side,
which acts as a brake and reduces the risk of the user falling
out of bed. This part assists people to turn themselves.

Glide and Lock Sheets
Glide and lock sheets provide a low friction movement in one
direction - into the chair or wheelchair or up the bed - but resist
the natural tendency of the patient to slide down again. In normal
use, the product allows repeated positioning whilst considerably
reducing the frequency of the moves. This not only improves
patient care but also decreases the handling risks faced by
staff dealing with these types of manoeuvre on a regular basis.
Glide and lock sheets are an invaluable resource in any
department or homecare environment. Available as standard

two-handle type options and features an angled stem for the
natural ‘head over toe action’ when getting the user from sit
to stand. Safe for the user and gentle on the carer’s back,

4 Parnell Premier Bed Rail
The Parnell bed rail is the ideal solution to help get in or out of
bed. Its attractive, ergonomic design complements virtually any
bedroom. Functional, strong, hygienic and safe, it provides the
user with confidence and independence. Stored flat when not
in use, it can be easily assembled and quickly fitted to the
bed without the use of tools. Designed for use with electrically
adjustable beds, the bed rail can also be used on domestic beds

that enables patients to be quickly and efficiently transferred.
Unlike conventional passive sling lifters, the Standaid requires the
patient to participate with the lift/transfer. This encourages

The Mermaid hoist is a fixed bath side hoist that enables patients
to safely transfer in and out of the bath. Available as either an
electric or mechanical version, it can be mounted onto either
a wooden or concrete floor with the fixings provided. A retro fit
electric kit is also available to convert the manual hoist to an

With an all plastic construction the Sonaris is easy to clean and

Difficulties getting into and out of the bath are quickly and easily
overcome when using the Bathmaster Deltis.
Occupying the optimum amount of space, the compact frame of the
Bathmaster Deltis is suitable for nearly all bath tubs. The small,
lightweight hand controller is simple to use and floats when not in
use. The lithium ion batteries give improved performance and
battery life. Fully waterproof with no built in circuit board, the motor
has been specifically designed for long term protection against
failure or damage. The gently contoured seat and backrest give
both comfort and support when lowering and reclining. The user
selects their optimum position between 10 and 40° recline. With a
