Outdoor Academy
Designed to appeal to every generation, Bass Pro
Shops’ Outdoor Academy will be offering a 1,200
acre outdoorsman’s paradise packed full of fun
on land, water and wheels. Hiking, fishing,
ropes courses, ATV rides, and archery and
target practice are among some of the outdoor
adventures waiting for you. It will serve as the
area’s premier destination for sport shooting, with
upland bird hunting and skeet and trap shooting.
This is a place where the entire family can enjoy
the outdoors and develop sharp, safe shooting
skills. Many educational programs will be geared
specifically to children, while adults can unwind
in the Billiards Room, Hospitality Bar, or 2-Lane
Bowling Alley. Secluded nature trails are tucked
all throughout, giving guests an opportunity to
explore the expansive property. The central lodge
will house private and public entertaining and
dining facilities, the retail store, a game room,
and men’s and women’s locker rooms. Fireplaces
adorn the grand porches that offer commanding
